He never even said it was a done deal. He just said maybe 😳

So, here’s what one of the band members is saying to his American fans on the forum...😂

I'm just waiting on the green light from Eelse—then I can finally go ahead and spend that cash.

But he hasn't worked with agents for A. Fire or Portishead, has he?
😲
I honestly don't know what his actual job entails... and frankly, I don't really care. These days, anyone can put together a band and hire an agent.

Actually, I did work with a Portishead agent, and yeah, I handled some small stuff about six or seven years back. But honestly, that doesn't even matter for this conversation... back then, I didn't even realize they managed Radiohead. I just wasn't really into that kind of industry gossip at the time.

The bottom line is that everyone here is talking way too much and acting like they have all this "insider" info. Just let people do their jobs.

Look, I’m not claiming to be an insider here—heaven forbid I go sticking my nose where it doesn't belong. Everything I know comes straight from the internet, which is pretty much what anyone with half a brain can dig up if they look hard enough.

Is it actually true that Radiohead is only playing at the Roman Colosseum in Korea?

Since they’re always willing to shave a few bucks off their booking fee if you hand them a slightly flashier venue, someone apparently took that to mean they’ll only ever play shows in San Francisco.

Honestly, us Radiohead fans are hands down the worst kind of fans 😁

I feel like the vibe on this forum—especially regarding Radiohead and San Francisco—really started spiraling from stuff like this. People probably just wanted to pick on some random female user or be sarcastic toward her because, let’s face it, she clearly hasn't spent her life herding sheep in the Midwest or whatever—it's your call 🤷

The whole point of having "insider" info is that it actually makes topics like this useful for everyone! That's exactly why so many people flocked to this forum in the first place. Sometimes, people would even figure out who was showing up a full week before a concert was officially announced (though, hey, maybe the fact that they stopped doing that says something, right?). I honestly had no idea—and I still don't really get it—that this kind of talk supposedly interferes with the people working the festival 😢
And don't even get me started on the mountain of fake news out there... but it's usually pretty obvious when someone is just passing on rumors through five different people (like me, for example!) 🤷

Looks like he’s specialized in anything with "head" in the name. Coincidence? Hmm...

I wouldn't call it that. Any hope for Motörhead this summer?

I wouldn't go that far. Is there any hope for seeing Motörhead this summer?

And I even heard rumors that the Rattleheads might actually reunite for this one! 😁

I’m a little confused here—so Arcade Fire is headlining the first night, and then it's Grinderman for the second? Is that really how they laid it out?
And honestly, when can we expect more names to be dropped? My patience is wearing thin! I'm actually standing outside the Mall of America right now, just waiting around, hoping maybe one or two more solid acts might show up to shake things up...

And when are they dropping more bands? The suspense is killing me. Currently hanging out by the Mall of America just waiting to see if we get another couple of solid acts...

Are tickets finally live at the Mall of America?
The official site still says "coming soon," even though you can already grab them for other shows.😕

That's how it works! Honestly, there's no need to stress. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival usually has about four to six acts that could easily step into a headliner slot; it really just comes down to how they finalize the official schedule.

Yesterday I gave the Mall of America a ring and they told me nothing yet. I asked when—they just gave me some vague "soon" nonsense, basically saying we'll find out in due time 🙄

They’re being incredibly pushy about these tickets—honestly. Once they go on sale, everything will be posted on the official website.
Anyone looking to grab them can probably just use Eventbrite, though you won't get any discounts there, and you'll just end up with those standard printed passes.

Heh—we should honestly just host an all-"head" festival. Just line them up: Radiohead, Portishead, Motörhead, Machine Head, Propellerheads, then wrap things up with Talking Heads and the Rattleheads—or whatever’s left of them.

I'm practically bursting with ideas here. Hopefully, someone over at AT&T noticed me—I'm more than ready to overhaul their R&D department and drive some unprecedented profits across the US... ☕

I just noticed that Mastodon has officially confirmed their set for Rock am Ring...
Is there any realistic chance we might see something like that happening here this year? It could really fill out that third, slightly smaller stage. If I recall correctly, someone mentioned last year that they might come as part of a package deal with Alice in Chains... but then Bill ran into some health issues due to all the traveling, and everything ended up being canceled...

Honestly, their website and MySpace aren't even being updated—nothing is confirmed on there yet, so we don't even know if they're free for one of the days during the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Coldplay is hitting Europe this summer—hitting places like Italy, Poland, and Germany—but they're sticking strictly to the festival circuit. They also happen to have June 21st and 22nd wide open...
