I'm bored, so I'm asking some random nonsense... anyone else deal with any weird phobias??

For example—I lose my mind, seriously—whenever I see those moths. It’s awful; I turn into a total hysterical old lady. 😱 🙂 😁 Especially if a massive one comes at me, you know? One of those things with the fuzzy wings fluttering around the light... if that thing gets tangled in my hair, man, what a nightmare. 🙄 😁

God, bugs. Just... ugh. Everywhere.

Look, I wouldn't call it a phobia or anything dramatic, but I absolutely cannot stand them.😳 😁

Honestly, whether it’s happening to me or someone else... it doesn't matter. I'm just collapsing. 🙂 🙂When I was having to help take care of my mom after her surgery, I nearly passed out myself...

Moths at night. It’s pure, unadulterated terror. I get this irrational, gut-wrenching panic whenever they flutter into my house. Daytime moths? They're fine. I don't mind them landing on me.

It’s all the same—bugs, ticks, insects... basically anything that crawls, creeps, or scurries. 🙂

I'm worried I might actually become a coward

There's some Latin term for it, I think I heard somewhere...
Just pure idiocy, if you ask me...

...I’ve got this massive phobia of birds. It’s not even about the birds themselves, honestly—it's the constant fear that they're going to crap on me. 😢 🙄
...it's disgusting.

...I've been dealing with this trauma since I was a kid.😲 😁

I suppose I wouldn't say I'm particularly afraid...
though, if I'm being honest, seeing those centipedes crawling over the wires gives me a bit of the creeps. It isn't that I'd scream or anything, I just find them rather revolting.🙂

It’s not exactly a phobia, I just find them incredibly unpleasant.😳 😁

Grasshoppers and cockroaches seriously gross me out—and don't even get me started on needles, I can't stand them either.🙂

It’s not exactly a phobia, per se, but I find their presence entirely disagreeable.😳 😁

I’m inclined to agree with everything stated above. 😱 😁

I'm terrified !

Actually, scratch that—it isn't fear. I just can't stand them. The mere thought of 🙄
makes my skin crawl.

If there isn't a guardrail in sight, I’m honestly terrified of heights.
But, if there’s even a basic railing there, I could probably swagger off a 20th-story balcony without breaking a sweat...

It's kind of like what feralstag11 was saying earlier...
I just can't stomach seeing someone else deal with nasty, gruesome injuries....
When it’s my own skin on the line, I don't really feel much of anything—it’s weird, I don't know why...
I've dealt with everything from an open arm fracture to a broken collarbone, a few busted ribs, and I've even passed out from pain a couple of times, but looking at my own mess has never been an issue.....
But watching someone else go through that? No way, absolutely not....

Since we're talking about phobias, I really need to recount this ridiculous incident from this past summer. This massive, nasty moth 😱 just flew straight at me. I’m lying there in bed, practically screaming for my mom to come save me. She bursts in, fully armed with a broom 😁
But of course, that damn moth had other plans for me. In a total panic, I lunged off the bed and headed straight for the floor. Instead of actually hunting the moth, my mom ends up wrestling me to stop me from hitting the ground—which was actually my goal, since I was already mid-fall—while she swings the broom in her other hand trying to whack the thing. Then my dad charges into the room to join the fray. Once the chaos finally settled, we were all just rolling on the floor laughing.
It's hard to put into words how absurd it was. That image of her pinning me down with one hand while swinging a broom at a moth with the other still makes me laugh, even when I'm in a terrible mood. 😂

Yeah, well, I just got a sudden wave of nausea reading that. Please, spare us. 😛

Words don't really do it justice. The mental image of her pinning me down with one hand while hunting a moth with a broom makes me laugh even when I'm in a terrible mood.😂

😢 Good grief, tell me you didn't actually kill the poor thing? Honestly...

I can't stand certain bugs either, but I could never bring myself to kill them. I usually just force my dad to usher them outside so they can stay ALIVE.

Every living thing deserves a chance, regardless of how much they gross us out.

I’m not afraid of the dark per se, except when I’ve just finished a horror movie or a disturbing book.
In those moments, I just bury myself under as many blankets as possible and call it a night.
