Alright, let's get down to business. I'm on the hunt for a laser B&W printer. I don't have a strictly set budget—I've noticed there are plenty of budget options starting around $133, but I could probably stretch it up to $333 if the machine is worth it. My main requirements? It needs to be reliable and, more importantly, compact. Space is at a premium on my desk, so I can't have some massive beast taking over the whole surface. Also, it would be a huge plus if the replacement toner cartridges aren't going to absolutely drain my bank account every month.
As far as volume goes, I won't be running it ragged; it’s just for the occasional document here and there.

Also, I’ve been hunting around for a decent Tesla inkjet... but honestly, if we strip away all the flashy marketing hype, how does it actually hold up for printing photos?

I need a B&W laser printer with Wi-Fi. I’m printing maybe 150-200 pages a month, mostly just plain text. Any recommendations for a printer under $233?

So, I’m on the hunt for some kind of printer/scanner combo, maybe something in the $0.50 range? I really want to use it mostly for printing out photos. It’s gotta have Bluetooth or some way to just shoot pictures straight from my phone to the printer—honestly, Wi-Fi is just a total no-go for me right now.
The big thing is the quality, though. I need the prints to actually look decent, and I definitely don't want to go broke buying ink every two weeks. Cheap, vibrant colors are the dream here.

Looking for some advice on a printer. It’s mostly for a student who needs to churn out maybe 20 pages a week. Scanning isn't a dealbreaker, and while copying would be nice, it's definitely not a requirement. Doesn't matter if it's laser or inkjet.

Budget is around $167, assuming the ink/toner stays cheap. Ideally, I want something that plays nice with those budget third-party replacements.

I spotted this one, but it only does black and white, and even then, the replacement toner is sitting at $60.

Is there a better B&W option out there, or maybe a color printer that won't break the bank?

I don't have a specific model to suggest, but I'm definitely siding with laser printers over inkjet models. It's much more cost-effective in the long run, and you get a far more reliable solution. With an inkjet, if you go a while without printing, you're almost guaranteed to deal with some massive headache when the nozzles inevitably clog up.

Sure, you'll have to deal with toner cartridges eventually, but even then, inkjets can be a total pain in the neck—like when you're missing just one single color and the whole machine refuses to print anything at all.

After six solid years, my trusty laser HP printer finally gave up the ghost. Honestly, it doesn't make sense to fix it at this stage; back when I first picked it up, it cost me about $200, and looking back, it paid for itself many times over.
