Hey, I can definitely help you out with hockey, even though I'm not a guy myself.
🙂

A game consists of three periods, and each period lasts 20 minutes.
There are 5 skaters plus 1 goalie on the ice at a time.
Keep in mind they use flying substitutions.👍
If you have any other hockey questions, just let me know!

🙂

9. List the triathlon disciplines.

I hope you can help me.....

Let's go in order:

Soccer
1. 2010 in South Africa.
2. Austria, Germany, Poland.
3. England, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Andorra.

Basketball
1. Four.
2. I think it's 23.75 feet (not entirely sure).
3. Japan - Spain.
4. Spain - Russia.

Handball
1. USA 2009.
2. Not quite sure what you mean by that, but I'll try: yellow card, two-minute suspension, red card.

Volleyball
Not really into volleyball, sorry.

Water Polo
1. 4x8 minutes.
2. 30 seconds.

Hockey
See the post above.

Skiing
1. Downhill, slalom, giant slalom, super-G, combined.
2. You've got cross country skiing, ski jumping, and Nordic combined.

Track and Field
Oof.
That's a lot of questions.
Let me see...
1. Not sure if the 400 counts as middle-distance or a sprint, but then there's the
800, 1500, the mile, and 3000.
2. 4x100 and 4x400.
3. 100m (women), 110m (men), 400 and 3000 hurdles (with higher hurdles).😁
4. I think there's the 20km and 31 miles, but honestly I'm not certain.
5. 26.2 miles.
6. 100m, long jump, discus, shot put, pole vault, 1500m, high jump, 110m hurdles, javelin, and I think 400m, but I'm not positive on the last one.
7. Javier Sotomayor, 245 cm.
8. Stefan Kostadinov, 209 cm.
9. Swimming, cycling, and running.

There, hope that helps. Though, looking at how you phrased them, it feels like you already knew the answers... but whatever.😁, regardless.

1. What are the court dimensions?
2. How high is the net?

Volleyball is played on a court measuring 18 meters long by 9 meters wide—split into two 9x9 meter halves—with a 1-meter wide net set at a height of 2.43 meters for men and 2.24 meters for women. 🤮

And biathlon. 😉

I'm not entirely sure if biathlon counts as a Nordic discipline, though I doubt it... First off, they have their own governing body, the International Biathlon Union, so they don't fall under the FIS umbrella. Plus, biathlon holds its own World Championships, whereas things like cross country skiing, ski jumping, and Nordic combined are all bundled together in the Nordic World Ski Championships.

Maybe not—I couldn't be sure. 🤷 But I did come across this:

There are two primary disciplines within Nordic skiing: cross country skiing and ski jumping. Beyond those basics, cross country serves as a foundation for two combined sports—Nordic combined, which blends skiing and jumping, and biathlon, which pairs skiing with shooting. 🤷

edit:Olympic cross country skiing, ski jumping, Nordic combined, and biathlon are the core Nordic skiing events.

Regarding that stat in the NBA, I think what that guy said about it being 7.25 is spot on (I assume)... and as for those shooting percentages, they're basically fundamental basketball school basics for me; I usually sit somewhere around the 5-something mark

Seriously though, who even comes up with assignments like this? Is this something they hand out in high school or college? Because if it is, sign me up—I want to enroll in a school like that right now!

It’s probably just some kind of school project. 🙂

Just so everyone's on the same page, NCAA basketball shot clocks run for 35 seconds. I'm also curious who even comes up with these kinds of questions.
