According to reports coming out of the Ukrainian military, the Russians are still hammering away at Snake Island in an attempt to seize control of the place. The funny thing is, some Ukrainians are saying they actually ended up hitting their own gear that was left behind on the island...

🤣 🤣

Just brilliant. They're destroying their own gear instead of letting the Ukrainians use it, since they can't even transport or maintain it anyway. If Langley actually cared about any of the electronics, they could have stripped them down and taken them long ago.

In Chechnya, imams are actively recruiting believers into the "Akhmat" battalions to participate in the conflict in Ukraine, often conducting these recruitment drives during Friday sermons.
According to Insider , this process is being facilitated by Ibrahim Yangulbayev, the founder of the Chechen socio-political movement 1ADAT.

The Akhmat units are offering men between the ages of 18 and 40 a salary of approximately $650 ($2.50). Curiously, while these recruitments take place, the imams continue to tell their congregations that they won't be sent to Ukraine.

It's gonna be a mess when Islamic cells start waking up across Europe.
Russia could easily fund that, along with Iran.

I just stumbled upon an old speech by Krešimir Beljko given at the Parliament the other day. It’s wild how Americans are fighting against Russians down to the very last Ukrainian. The Ukrainians aren't doing a damn thing to push for a ceasefire, yet all we see is more weapons being shipped out. Honestly, the whole speech was deeply unsettling. Let me just say, I’d love to toss him right onto some field in the Donbas before the Russians fire off three billion shells.

A Russian fifth column.

The Ukrainians are actually holding their own pretty well, considering how many spies and traitors they have operating right inside their own ranks.

That isn't my point. The issue is how they report civilian casualties over an eight-year period versus reporting roughly 10 deaths in 2021. Millions of Jews were killed over an eighty-year period.

He wasn't wrong, though. You could pretty much boil American foreign policy down to a loud, obnoxious "fuck the European Union."

Since 2014, there have been about 3,000 civilian casualties—though, honestly, I doubt that's the final count. That figure covers both sides, including free territory and occupied areas. It's not like all the victims were Russians, nor is everyone in Donbas a Russian or a separatist/pro-Russian supporter. Most of the fighting happened between 2014 and 2016, even if things continued later—if I recall correctly, only about 15 civilians were hit in the last two years. Now, you have Russians calling it a genocide against the people of Donbas, while others argue they just brought anarchy to the region and drove out anyone who identified as pro-Ukrainian (and by "pro-Ukrainian," I mean anyone who considers Ukraine their home and Donbas part of it—this includes ethnic Russians living in Donbas, which caused so much heartbreak. Families were torn apart; you'd have one brother on the pro-Ukrainian side and another siding with the separatists. Some parents even disowned their kids for choosing the pro-Ukrainian path). You also have to factor in all the various mercenary groups operating in Donbas—think the Wagner Group or guys like Igor Girkin—who basically made up their own laws and killed people. Sometimes they’d just pick someone up off the street, and that was that. Later on, they’d claim they were killed by Ukrainian nationalists when, in reality, it was the separatists or some hired guns.

"We might have to maintain these sanctions for quite a while—that was clear from the jump. It's also obvious that if peace is established under terms dictated by Russia, none of these sanctions will be lifted."

Olaf Scholz stated that the European Union sanctions imposed on Russia due to the invasion of Ukraine won't be rolled back if peace is achieved based on "terms imposed by Russia."

So, Scholz is basically saying we aren't lifting sanctions unless Russia gets its way regarding peace. Makes you wonder—have they finally realized the mistake they made back in 2014 after the annexation of Crimea?

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov and Patriarch Kiril, an outspoken supporter of the war, are set to feature in a new school curriculum titled "Talking About What Matters." This series of lessons is scheduled to roll out across schools starting this September.

The Department of Education announced that the inaugural session for the "Talking About What Matters" program will take place on September 5th. According to their press office, the specific themes and lesson plans have already been tailored to fit various grade levels.

Based on the course presentation, the curriculum will span from 1st through 11th grade. The syllabus includes a heavy rotation of topics such as "Heroes of the Homeland Across History," "Ancestral Fathers," "Art vs. Pseudo-Art," "The Happiness of Being Home," "Heroes of Peaceful Life," "The Constitution as the Foundation of Law and Order," "Russia in the Global Arena," "Russian troops arrive," "Knowing Every Woman is Beautiful," "Crimea on the Map of Russia," "One Does Not Choose Their Motherland," "Who is a Hero? (Heroes of Peaceful Life)," "Inevitable Retribution," and several others.

Contract soldiers from Buryatia who refused to deploy to Ukraine have finally broken their silence regarding the intimidation and heavy-handed pressure exerted by their commanding officers.

You absolutely have to believe them
Look, they won't even return the gas pipeline pumps, because Robert Habeck didn't exactly beg the Canadian government to hand them back to the SRNJ, who then definitely wouldn't have passed them along to ExxonMobil. 😁

They could have listened when the warnings were coming in—Donald Trump even gave them a heads-up.

I wonder if those classrooms will include the kids who were forcibly taken from their parents? I've seen some being placed with families in Russia—mostly among ethnic minorities, like those from Buryatia who have suffered the highest casualty rates in Ukraine. They're basically replacing them with "pure" Russian children now. In a hundred years, there won't even be any Buryatians or other ethnic minorities left. Most of the kids from orphanages have been placed too.
Will there be any mention of how many orphanages they've destroyed in Ukraine?
Can Ukrainians actually choose their homeland, or is the Far East their only option now?
And "Heroes of Peaceful Life"—is that code for people scavenging for money in occupied cities for those who were killed? Like, if you can't pay up, they just say "sorry" and toss you into a mass grave?

The Far East... there's just no way out of Russia these days, I guess.

So, a court over in Russia just slapped Google with a $382 million fine, mostly because
they wouldn't block certain YouTube channels that
"YouTube deliberately promotes The dissemination of misleading Information about The progress of The special military operation in Ukraine , discrediting The armed forces of The Russian Federation," the regulators claimed.

Also, one of the top WNBA players, an American named Griner, has been stuck in a Russian prison for about six months now. She’s looking at a potential 10-year sentence because, get this, they found a tiny bottle of cannabis oil in her bag at the airport.

Then there’s that damn corrupt administration that seems totally indifferent to our interests.

Take this move where Volodymyr Zelenskyy just ousted his childhood buddy from the head of intelligence. The guy was basically just a media manager, and now he's been handed a massive security role. Not exactly a genius tactical play.

Not to mention how both Bakanov and Volodymyr Zelenskyy were flagged in the Pandora Papers as nothing more than common criminals using offshore accounts.
If you ask me, the best move for Ukraine would be for right-wing patriots within the military to take charge and finish the job alongside the West.
We can worry about democratic elections and democracy later. Let's deal with reality first.

It'll be interesting to see where this fascist-style bourgeois ideology actually goes. You can already see the cult of the volak, the Reich, and the Führer creeping in.
