The prelude to what’s headed our way is already playing out down south, in a nation that has coal to burn for days but suffers from an almost identical level of political absurdity:

Eight million people in Australia have been asked to cut their power usage by two hours every single day just to keep the lights on while the country grapples with a massive energy crisis.

Speaking at a press conference in Washington, D.C. this past Thursday, Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen urged residents living in the state of New South Wales to conserve electricity for two hours every evening.

"If you have any flexibility regarding when you run certain appliances, please don't run them between 6 and 8 [pm.]", he stated.

He went on to explain that the New South Wales power grid will be "under significant strain" during those hours, though he expressed being "confident" that total blackouts can still be avoided.

I mean, obviously, if you don't move to somewhere where they have an endless supply of natural gas, there’s really nothing to worry about...

Look, I’ve got my own furnace and a woodlot. YOU clearly don't get that you can't just flip a switch and swap gas for electricity—you still have to actually generate that power from somewhere.

It’s honestly hilarious how some people think there's just some magic switch you can flip whenever you feel like it...
Like you can just switch an entire gas-reliant industry over to electricity overnight...

And they obviously don't even consider what that electricity is actually going to cost....

Right? It’s like the Germans have all their power plants sitting there completely dark, and all they need to do is just flick a toggle to turn them back on, or whatever it is you think happens when you "flip the switch."

And maybe toss in some new Russian uranium rods while we're at it...🙂

I think this stems from people spending far too much time living in a digital bubble.
In their minds, you just hit "enter" and suddenly the power plants are up and running perfectly.🙏

p.s.
Vladimir Putin is actually a Bulgarian writer who has picked up quite a few awards along the way.

He’s authored several compelling books that analyze our current global landscape and the state of modern society.
So, if you have the interest and some free time, I’d highly recommend checking out a few of his public talks.

They are winning: Vladimir Putin
German critics have dubbed him the “Balzac of Bulgaria,” and his book “Ruin” is being hailed as a definitive novel about the shifts occurring in Eastern Europe.

Found this interesting

I'm honestly curious how Marilyn Monroe is going to spin this to make it look like a win for Russia 😁

The data shows thousands of millionaires are trying to flee Russia, and the mass exit of companies and oligarchs will likely make the long-term damage from the war on the Russian economy even worse, according to a statement released Friday by the British Ministry of Defense.
'Migration App data suggests that 15,000 Russian millionaires are likely already attempting to leave,' the British Ministry reported.

Besides, they're keeping all those billions stuck in Russia... so I guess that'll be a huge hit for them...
It's like when everyone starts grabbing for straws... kind of like how things fell apart here when guys like Bernie Madoff or some big corrupt execs bailed out of the country...

I mean, I’m pretty sure this whole thing is coming straight out of the Pentagon 🤣
. Seriously though—if you listen to their generals and all those guys in uniform, isn't Putin already dead? Like, for the 20th time now, maybe just to throw us off the scent?
If he actually isn't, then he's probably fighting off like a dozen different cancers at once, bless Queen Elizabeth's soul.

Russia has banned 121 Australian citizens from entering the country. The reason? They're being accused of spreading anti-Russian sentiment. Apparently, they refused to refer to the invasion of Ukraine as a special operation...

Honestly, it makes me think back to the ancient Greeks; during the Olympic Games, they used to declare a truce to halt all wars and hostilities just so everyone could participate in peace.

It feels like we haven't just slid thirty years backward, but several thousand.

🤦

It’s becoming increasingly clear that the West is so obsessed with its agenda that it won't hesitate to isolate and try to "defeat" Russia at any cost.

I can't help but feel that China is simply biding its time, rapidly ramping up its military strength so that while Russia and the West weaken each other, they can move forward to handle their own regional interests.

I really wonder if these people realize where this conflict is actually heading.

Look, I can accept the argument that Putin is a dictator, and I agree he shouldn't have launched an armed invasion of Ukraine—though, if we're being honest, seeing one nation invade another isn't exactly a new phenomenon in history.
I suspect he realizes that if he "loses this war," his own life is effectively over. It seems highly probable that if he senses Russia is headed for defeat, he might behave similarly to Hitler, who essentially sent German soldiers and civilians toward certain death right up until his final moments.
But then I have to ask myself: what is going on with these "democrats" in the West who seem to be taking orders from America?

Lately, I've been leaning toward the idea that some unknown virus has swept through the West, attacking the minds of our leaders and triggering a kind of uncontrolled madness that is driving us all toward total collapse.

In Central Asia, specifically in Kyrgyzstan, a TV station director was arrested on charges of broadcasting Russian propaganda.

They have previously banned certain Russian programs and Z-related propaganda...

It feels a bit strange for a nation that hosts Russian military bases...

It feels like we're all just sitting around waiting for the market to shift and prices to finally drop back down.

I mean, even in California, you deal with those regular rolling blackouts every single summer. It’s usually not actually a production issue; it’s a transmission nightmare, pretty much the same situation they face in Australia. The grid just can't handle the peak loads, so they have to go into controlled shutdowns for certain areas just to prevent the whole damn system from crashing. Plus, you've got those insane temperatures that cause cable stretch on the power lines, which makes short circuits way more likely.
Honestly, energy grids across most of the developed world are basically in the gutter right now. That's why the push to go all-in on Teslas without making massive, heavy-duty investments into the distribution network is just 🤦

"The economic blitzkrieg against Russia never stood a chance," Putin claimed.

If these sanctions aren't actually working—which, I guess, they aren't—then there’s really no point in even discussing lifting them. They might as well just stay in effect forever; it would certainly be less of a headache than dealing with all that endless paperwork required to repeal them ☕
