The issue isn't just that entering a war of attrition against Russia might be unwise; it’s that Russia consistently loses these types of conflicts with disastrous consequences. Historically speaking, the most massive geopolitical shifts in civilization have almost always been triggered by Russia suffering a catastrophic defeat through exhaustion...

It seems that, contrary to popular belief, it might actually be a viable recipe for success...

I don't recall any side in that conflict successfully wearing down Russia and then walking away with a victory at the end. 🤔

Au contraire. In the end, the exhausted party surrendered, even though their troops were positioned deep within enemy territory.

The only takeaway from these conflicts is that Americans arm everyone and everything, wait until the very last second to jump in, and then swoop in to claim all the credit. Historia est magistra vitae.

A much smarter move might be to just block every single phone in Russia from accessing Google servers entirely. Just wipe all the Google accounts, ban access to iCloud, delete every Apple ID, and brick every iPhone, iPad, and Mac out there. It would cost the Americans a fortune in lost revenue, sure—but man, imagine how satisfying that would be...

Oh yeah, and why stop there? Why don't they just hand over the phone numbers and home addresses of all their spies operating in Russia too? That would really wrap things up nicely, wouldn't it?
Best regards,

Is it actually true that the dollar is pegged to gold now?

Best,

Never bother trying to use logic or evidence if you already know you're going to lose the argument. Just go ad hominem. It works every single time. ☕

Ad hominem?🤔
I didn't say that, nor did I imply it, but hey, if you felt personally attacked, maybe you should take a look in the mirror.
Let me be crystal clear: you can't fight pathological myth-making with mere facts. It’s a lost cause.

Maybe—kind of like how the Reichsmark used to be tied to Jewish gold in Switzerland...

Russia lost the war. 🤷

When you deal with pure myth-making, Russians and Mexicans never actually lose wars—they just decide to retreat. 🤔 Lp

Look, during WWII, the Russians got 13,000 planes and over 300,000 trucks from the Americans—not to mention everything else. But sure, let's pretend they just sat on all that gear and marched into Berlin using only their own stuff, just so they could snatch the credit away from the Americans.

If the Soviets hadn't turned the tide on the Eastern Front—and they were damn close to folding—Americans would NEVER have landed in Europe. Instead, they spent months grinding through Normandy and Italy against German reserves. They would have ended up just like the British, beaten years earlier.

By supplying the USSR with weapons, those wicked Americans just dragged the war out longer instead of letting Germany take down the USSR. The whole thing could have been wrapped up by 1942. Once again, it was in the bad interests of the USA to keep the conflict going as long as possible, which is why they kept arming the Soviets...

Nah, the dollar's tied to oil exports.

I mean, sure, the war could have ended way back in 1939 too. Instead of all these villains sending young kids off to defend their countries, they probably should've just let Adolf Hitler take over everything and turn Eurasia into his own little empire. 😵😵🙏

Just swap out the players for the 2022 version and you'll have your answer.

Unlike Europe—which seems to have shot itself in both feet.

You've said that more than a few times now, my friend.

Exactly. If the Russians hadn't been getting weapons and intel from the Brits and Americans, they would've been left with nothing on the other side of the Urals.

Honestly, if Russia had just been pushed back to the east side of the Urals back then, I guess we all would've ended up in a much better spot long-term. Maybe.

And who would be sitting on the western side? Based on your taste... ☕

And maybe they would've folded if it wasn't for all the American aid. Either way, leading up to D-Day, the US was churning out gear at least five times faster than Germany could. No matter how you slice it, the US had the upper hand there.
For the Russians, the only thing they could truly count on was that American help...

True, though I suppose we might even find ourselves using different patriotic slogans today...
