Third time in a row for this blue team... What kind of absolute amateur hour is this?! 🙏

goalkeeping
I guess that's just how their psychology works—the strikers must be blinding him or something. 😁

Right, if it's about being blinded, then this latest neon yellow-green is doing way more damage—reminds me of FC Barcelona back in '06.

Yeah, but look—it’s actually been proven that wearing neon orange, lime green, or bright red jerseys psychologically tricks players into aiming straight at the keeper. That’s why Real Madrid has been picking those exact obnoxious colors for their goalie kits for ages.image
imageIt’s the same kind of thing that happened in the Premier League last year during that Sunderland vs. Liverpool match. Someone tossed a bright red balloon onto the pitch. Basically, Bent hit the ball, it struck the balloon right in front of the penalty area, and Reina dove for the damn balloon because of the red color, leaving the net wide open for the goal.image

Hey everyone—quick question! Does anyone know where I can pick up some Bayern Munich gear here in Washington, D.C., besides just the jerseys? Honestly, I'm down for anything—a t-shirt, a scarf, a mug, a hat, whatever...

Thanks in advance!

You could probably find a shirt, a scarf, a windbreaker, or tracksuits at an Adidas store near Times Square... they usually carry Real Madrid, AC Milan, Liverpool, and Chelsea stuff too.

It’s mostly because of the recession, I guess. There just aren't nearly as many shops to hit up this year compared to before—places like Top Sport, King Cross, Mandi, and stuff like that...

A few things on my mind here:

1) I’ve been grinding at work way too hard lately, so maybe my eyes are just failing me, but does anyone else see a little "sponsored content" or "paid advertisement" disclaimer tucked away in the corner of this article? Because I’m staring at it and seeing absolutely nothing.
2) Look, I’m no high-fashion guru, but I feel like I know a decent amount about jersey design... so who on earth is Parambureao?!
3) Can we please just stop commenting on this absolute garbage? Actually, scratch that—let's dive in. The home kit is an eyesore, the third kit is "meh" at best, and as for the away kit... I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I honestly think there should be a law banning national team jerseys in any sport that doesn't feature the Stars and Stripes. Seriously, Red Star Mexico City had an away kit that looked identical to this a few years back.

Bottom line—WHO IS THIS PERSON?! 😁

This is purely experimental and honestly, it’s never going to actually happen, 🤣

I’m actually digging the home kit; it’s a nice change of pace to see larger blocks of color instead of busy patterns. 🤷
It’s straightforward, without all those tacky mesh textures and extra nonsense. My only real gripe is that gold "square" they put the number inside. Personally, I’d just slap the number directly onto the jersey, both front and back... you know, instead of that little dot, we'd have the USSF logo, and then obviously the inevitable Nike swoosh on the right side.
If we went that route, though, the borders lose their purpose—specifically the color scheme. I honestly can't tell how a number in that specific shade would even look against a solid red background.
Maybe a navy number? Or keep the borders... I haven't a clue.

edit: Just got a better look at the third kit, and honestly, it's fine. It's the away kit that's absolute garbage.

Our first jersey always featured those tacky number designs and awkward font styles on the back. Just look at today’s kit—why on earth are we using blue numbers against a red background? It’s a visual nightmare that’s incredibly hard on the eyes. If the base color has to be red, white numbers would look much more natural. It feels like we have this obsession with cramming every single color from the flag onto one shirt, yet no other national team does that. Some teams don't even use their flag colors at all! At this rate, we might as well just slap some goats and three lions from a crest on there too. And don't even get me started on the names—they're practically invisible.
There’s already plenty of blue on the away kit. 🤷

Here’s the vision: the primary kit should feature those classic red and white checkers. For the back, let's go with a solid red base featuring white names and numbers—or potentially a white back with blue lettering. Either way, we definitely need white socks. Whatever we do, let's avoid putting names directly over the checkered pattern; it would look cluttered and messy. 😲

The away kit has always been a solid choice, though if I'm being honest, I preferred last year's look over what they're sporting now.

The kit is more than alright—until then I notice the flip-flops 🤦

Anyway, let's just listen to mellowowl38 and stop talking about that garbage Parambureao concept

Interesting color analysis here.😁

👍Looks like you might be right, though.

Well, I suppose that’s fair enough, given that the actual rules of the game don't exactly allow for it... I guess. Not that anyone ever follows them perfectly anyway, but you know what I mean.🤣

I mean, maybe they’d let them get away with it if they actually wore cleats

The jersey looks just like the packaging for those Marchetti bruschettas—or whatever they're called.
