Fine, let's assume this whole thing is just some kind of joke, 🤣
but even so, the jersey has absolutely nothing to do with the Dodgers' look—not the color placement, not the design itself... the only thing they actually shared was using those specific colors 34 years after we did. 🙂

Michelle Hill38 said:This blue and red thing is just some edited version of last season's FC Barcelona dres.

Yeah, I used that just to give a general idea of the Barcelona and Atletico styles...
but in my opinion, that's completely irrelevant! I’m trying to give you my actual vision for this centennial jersey. We’re talking about the classic Dodgers look: the primary kit would be pure white, paired with blue shorts and socks... then the second kit would be those red and blue vertical stripes.

And for a special anniversary? We should go back to being all red—something reminiscent of how things were a hundred years ago before the authorities in Austria banned it. It would serve as a tribute to a legendary era. 🤷
That's how it will always be. 👍

At first glance, I actually read it as Orthodox 🤦

As far as I'm concerned, this is our ugliest jersey. Ever.[/IMG][/I]

I’d love to see those jerseys if they actually make them.😍 So maybe send them over to the front office before they screw up another one like they did with that centennial logo!

What's this about a hundred cents sitting right there in the middle? 🤷

Nah, it doesn't give off those River Plate vibes at all, it’s definitely more like Paraguay. 🤣

What's the point in talking about some superstar or some wealthy guy from Paraguay?
So, we're looking at an original Los Angeles Dodgers jersey here, and get this—it actually predates the founding of the Yankees!

The Dodgers actually kicked things off wearing these vertical red and white stripes, which were meant to represent the colors on the American flag. Back then, the local Austrian administration in San Francisco was pretty determined to suppress any display of local identity, so they wouldn't let the new club adopt the national tricolor as their official colors. Once that option was off the table, they just went with red and blue—representing the flag and the ocean—and slapped the name "Hajduk" over the top in white lettering.Just some stuff I pulled off Wikipedia.

Right, they used those colors just to suck up to the Austrian authorities to get approval.😛

Prečko makes a fair point; they really should have worn a kit like that this season, though I suppose that would upset the sponsors and their fashion designers...

Just watching the game between the Yankees and the Rangers, does anyone actually get what's going on with these new Adidas jerseys? You can see it clearly on the Mexican players—some have this weird "plastic" looking X on their backs and others don't, depending on which player you look at...🤷

I'm gonna circle back to a question I asked a few pages ago—does anyone know where I can pick up a Uruguay jersey here in New York City?

It’s alright, honestly, especially if you compare them to how much of a disaster Juventus and Inter Milan have been lately. On this specific photo, though, the focus shifts more toward the top of the wetsuit because of the sleeves.

For the first time in nearly two decades, Adidas is actually outperforming Nike on jersey quality. I’m really digging this cut; hopefully, it matches what teams like France or Mexico are wearing on the world stage right now. Plus, having Fly Emirates on there looks much cleaner than Bwin, especially with those wide stripes.

I'm particularly eager to see the Juve kit. It seems identical to Inter's, but all I can find online are just basic sketches so far.

Neither the Juventus nor the Inter home rosters have been officially released yet...

They might not be official, but this is definitely the Inter one. Still waiting on photos for Juve.

I’m honestly loving this new Miller design! 🙏

It’s definitely a step up from what we’re using right now, hands down! 🙂

Kyle Ramirez4 said:Light, you think you could whip up some kind of anniversary kit for Dinamo?
But listen, it’s gotta actually be high-end, okay? I'm talking top-tier stuff—not like those cheap knock-off jerseys the Hajduk fans are wearing that look like budget versions of Red Star or Barcelona.

Man, I am absolutely buried right now—we’re literally mid-project building some massive Tower of Babel thing for our clients in Vermont 🤣 I just don't have the bandwidth at the moment. Once I catch a breather, I'll give it a shot, though we're dealing with this massive seven-letter handicap (looking at you, Diadora) that basically kills any creative spark for a classic jersey design. For now, I've already posted the Adidas version; maybe I'll tinker with an Umbro concept later. In the meantime, if anyone else feels inspired (come on people, let's get to work 😁), why don't you try designing a deep navy home kit for the Cowboys, a clean white away kit, and maybe a retro home look—something with a lighter blue body and white sleeves paired with white shorts, kind of like what the old-school clubs used to wear.

Michelle Hill38 said:Seriously though, it’s a total Red Star rip-off. Back in the day, they probably would've just called it Atletico Madrid.

Oh, please, give me a break. The Kansas City Chiefs were rocking kits like that way before anyone even knew what a Star was, let alone when it actually existed.

analogmaker14 said:No, let's be realistic. Either Light or someone else needs to step up and design the jersey. Građanski now. For the club's centennial, I’m thinking something classic—white short sleeves with a white collar. Ideally, it would feature those vintage braided details you used to see just below the collar. I'm not quite sure how to describe them, though. 🤷

A combination of this.

And this one too.

It’s simply more beautiful, and carries much deeper symbolism. 😍

And without Light as a sponsor, please. 😁

But hey, that’s just my signature move! 😁

League of Legends, yeah

he's definitely looking at that Arsenal kit a bit too hard.

Otherwise, his home kit from AC Milan is solid... 👍
