Sublime?

The whole point of the movie is basically that if you spend your entire life living in fear, then the only way your existence actually makes sense is if that fear finally becomes reality... Or something like that. It’s a bit of a weird one, but really well done.

Is there an American translation out yet? And has anyone here seen it? Thoughts?

Sublime doesn't have an official American English translation yet, and there’s a simple reason for that: it was never slated for a theatrical release here. Because of that, it hasn't landed on the desks of the local creative teams who spend their days coming up with those wildly different titles for hard-to-translate movies 😬

Take "Fright Night," for instance—it was retitled something like "My Neighbor is a Vampire" in some markets, which pretty much illustrates my point about how these titles get handled 🙂

Once this hits the US home video market, we'll probably get to see the "creativity" of domestic distributors. I can almost guarantee they'll slap a generic, overly descriptive title on it, something like "Dangerous Dreams" or "Horror Hospital" 😁

That aside, the movie is absolutely killer! 🙏

Forget the linguistics talk and just give me your take. What'd you think of the flick?
I'm dying to hear about that scene where the orderly (basically his worst nightmare) jumps on the bed and gives that big speech about how fear has shaped humanity throughout history.
Who knew "nightmare" was originally the name of some demon? Or maybe I'm just tripping..😕
