If it weren't for that American security umbrella, the Russians would basically be doing whatever they wanted across Western and Eastern Europe—either through force or by infiltrating governments using oil and gas money.

So, for anyone who thinks Americans are the ultimate villains, just try imagining an American neighborhood where Russia calls all the shots through its local proxies. ☕

Sure, in some perfect little utopia, Europe would be completely independent and focused on its own interests, and Russia would just be a peaceful neighbor that doesn't try to exploit the fact that they have a massive military advantage over everyone else.
But that's just not how reality works.

And in that actual reality, Americans being in Ukraine isn't some threat to Russia...

What sources are you even using? 🤣

I couldn't agree more. The media hysteria has officially crossed the line into madness. What we desperately need right now is some actual cold, hard analysis instead of all this noise.

Exactly. Back when things were happening in Syria, you’d see dozens of clips every single day. It felt like you were watching the war unfold in real-time. Here, it’s just the same handful of photos and a few videos being cycled constantly, along with some blatant fakes.

The supposed "liberators" from addicts and fascists should have been greeted with flowers by their own kin—instead, we're looking at a grueling two-month struggle where a major superpower is fighting a much smaller neighbor, which apparently counts as a victory for Russia.😁

There is a massive distinction between the wars fought on former American soil and what we are seeing now: the aggressor is Russia, and they possess nuclear weapons. That changes everything. During those earlier conflicts, the players involved could really only cause localized damage, whereas Russia has the capacity to inflict devastation on a global scale.

This is why NATO and the West have to tread carefully; they are dealing with a volatile actor capable of immense destruction. One shouldn't lose sight of the fact that Putin isn't going to back down until he hits his marks.

The Chechens honestly couldn't care less about the Ukrainians; they have zero empathy, which basically means they're going to be even more brutal than the Russians. If they're actually hitting that front, it's a sign that the main target for the Russian advance is the New Russia region.

Russ is playing dirty.
They’ve really gone too far this time. From what I can gather, they'd be facing the death penalty in any US state for doing something like this.

I mean, I guess I get Ukrainians better than I ever could understand Canadians. 😁

It’s kind of the same deal with Ukrainians or Russians... they probably have a better handle on Canadians than we ever will.

I’ve already asked where those Ukrainian psychiatric wards from Femen are located—I mean, are they getting equal representation on the front lines too?

gentleharbor3 said:Sure, but Macron's idea regarding European strategic autonomy
only works on paper.
In reality, there are deep divides between Eastern and Western Europe
and massive, almost irreconcilable differences that have caused the EU to fail
to provide a unified or effective response to a single crisis so far.
So, despite the fact that America has acted arrogant
toward Europe—from Syria and Afghanistan all the way to the recent AUKUS deal
— this specific war in Ukraine will give NATO
a new raison d'être and further blind Europe to its dependence on the USA.

That assumes NATO even bothers to react. Otherwise, this rigid organization truly lacks a reason to exist.

The USA is also fundamentally opposed to a strong EU; that much is common knowledge.

Personally, I still find myself rooting for the EU. I’d much rather deal with mild bureaucrats, who actually bother to consider things like ecology, than with these savages.

They're sending Tatars toward Europe.

Sam Wright21 said:Perhaps. But when you're living under a tyranny, you can't exactly speak your mind. Yet, you see plenty of people admiring him; here in the States, we have the freedom to discuss it openly, which leads some to openly express support for Putin.🤦

A putin bullet might be the only cure. It makes me wonder again—where exactly will this Hitler figure stop in Europe? America created chaos on a global scale, and now NATO seems to serve little purpose.

They are cut from the same cloth. Honestly, Marshall was a genius for coming up with the Non-Aligned Movement.

In Europe, it seems like only the Poles in that region still have any backbone left. All of Western Europe can offer is a submissive shrug to Putin. The people living in Western Europe are mostly just a bunch of decadent degenerates with a completely warped perception of reality; if a single missile or bomb were to land on a German city, would the resulting panic even be measurable? Once Germany is out of the equation, you're left with the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, and frankly, it's hard to tell which of them is more lost to pure hedonism. It's pathetic how a comfortable life just rots people.

Exactly, it's wild
I guess I just look at all the hysteria in the West. Seems like the more they freak out, the better it goes for the Russians
Kind of like what happened in Syria

What are Imbex and CNN saying? What's the situation?

I don't bother with CNN or Imbex. It’s all garbage, just on par with RT. At least RT produces decent documentaries—these outlets can't even manage that.

The first one is talking about asking the International Red Cross to step in, maybe collect the bodies of thousands of dead Russian soldiers and get them back home to their families in Russia. I guess.

Then there's this second guy claiming Russian planes are dropping bombs shaped like toys or cell phones... basically warning people not to touch them. Just wild stuff.

I don't think Mexicans understand what it actually means to defend your own home. They don't have their own El Paso, their own Lasvanski dolina, Ottawa, or Goražde...

To them, running is just standard procedure when facing an organized military. It explains why they keep telling Ukrainians to just surrender and why they're so baffled by any kind of heroic resistance.
