Thread closed for no reason

Look, this is simply about getting some clarity. There are several points I find completely baffling, and since my own searches didn't yield any useful answers, I'm left wondering why some self-righteous individual decided to shut this thread down as if they were some kind of absolute authority...

Hold on, do I really look like someone who lacks common sense?

1. I haven't been given a single explanation
2. I see absolutely no justification for why this thread was closed
3. I fail to understand what mistake I supposedly made
4. I am more than well-acquainted with the forum rules
5. I want this thread reopened
6. The moderator has no standing here because they failed to provide an explanation, which was required...
7. I expect a formal apology from the moderator in question.

If I had been trolling, being insulting, or asking something genuinely idiotic, I wouldn't be bothering to speak up, let alone file a complaint. I certainly wouldn't be complaining. In fact, I usually just take the hit and admit when I've messed something up...

But this time, I am not in the wrong, and I am demanding a response. Thank you.

Honestly, I have no idea why this thread was locked. I just wanted to jump in, offer some help, and share a few tips, but now I'm stuck on the sidelines.

Maybe someone can clarify what happened, or ideally, just reopen it. ☕

Are you actually sure you're performing your duties effectively? Did you even bother to check if my specific responses were already present in those other threads? Instead of acting like some self-important know-it-all who found my thread so incredibly eyesore-inducing and disruptive that they had to shut it down, they could have simply merged it with the existing one if that was truly the issue... rather than taking this arrogant, condescending approach of just closing it.

You people are moderators. You have those tools at your disposal. I don't. ☕

I have no way of knowing if a particular thread is going to explicitly irritate some moderator, nor do I necessarily know exactly where to hunt for an answer. And as for that moderator—the one who felt personally offended by my "thousand repetitive questions"—perhaps they should take a moment to examine their own conscience and ask whether I really did anything wrong by starting that damn thread, or if I was simply trying to find information on a forum designed specifically for exactly these kinds of inquiries...

There are already three dedicated threads regarding the SAT on the front page, so there really isn't any need to start a new topic for every individual question you have.

For instance: SAT, SAT - returning students and SAT prep.

Any questions you might have can simply be posted within one of those three existing threads.

The first page of the PDF covers several different topics regarding the SAT-older student, so there's honestly zero need for another one.
