So, I went ahead and placed an order yesterday for a whole cake and some pastries from Nothing Bundt Cakes, and I even picked up those little decorative wedding toppers... 😁

The whole wedding vibe was honestly so sweet, and man, I really wanted to go down that same path myself, but in the end, we just went full-on mushy romance—you know, those couples who can't stop holding hands and making out everywhere 😍

just with different colored stripes...

I think I'm gonna toss on a few cake toppers... honestly, people totally sleep on them, but if you ask me, they’re easily one of the best parts of the whole cake... and let's be real, they're definitely what catches everyone's eye first.😁

The guy I adore would probably lose his mind over this one 😁 http://www.mydigitalstudios.com/images/Cake%20Top.jpg

Man, this thing was practically made for those young couples just counting down the days until their little one arrives http://uniquecaketoppers.com/images/...od%20Devon.JPG

All these cakes look incredible,
not sure how things work in NYC,
but here in California, I definitely got some weird looks when I asked if they could make one for me.
So, I just went with the simplest cake possible to avoid any extra drama...

Yesterday I stumbled upon this great little bakery in Naperville—$3.25per person, a wedding cake for 200 guests goes for $667, and if you want marzipan, it’s $4.00 per head. Their decorating style is lovely, plus their pastries are super moist and flavorful, so I’m betting the cake is just as good. It’s right downtown and called "The Cheesecake Factory".
I also happened to find another solid spot over in Columbus; prices there are around $600 and they are incredibly organized. The pastries are flawless, and they actually follow all those tiny rules for proper serving—which honestly blew me away since you rarely see that—like how they serve a Sacher with actual cream and all those little details
Anyway, highly recommend. Oh, and the lady at the Columbus shop even told me they offer free delivery all the way out to Columbus!

So, this is the kind of cake I’m going for image

The only thing is, mine will be covered in orange and white fondant instead

I picked up some treats from that little bakery over in Oakland, $4.00 and honestly, when they quoted me per slice, I thought they were totally ripping me off... but then I realized pretty much everyone prices things that way now 🙏

Anyway, I'm expecting about 180 guests. Everyone keeps telling me to lie and say I have fewer people because apparently, bakeries cut massive slices while restaurants serve tiny slivers. How did you guys actually handle the math on yours?
