The first one, without question. 🙏

The first one was solid, then the second one hit even harder.
The rest? Honestly, they were just okay.

The first one was alright, then the second one—though it still missed the mark—and the rest? Meh, just okay...

These three are my top picks.
There is something about each one that appeals to me. If I could, I would merge all these elements into a single design... somehow... though one must be careful to avoid looking tacky.🤣
I am still searching for the perfect cake, and frankly, I am finding it quite difficult to decide.

We ended up getting our cake from M&M...$400 since we had about 100 guests to feed with the dessert buffet. The owner there actually gave us some really solid advice—she suggested we skip the fondant altogether and go with a whipped cream frosting instead...

It’s just so incredibly tricky—if not downright impossible—to get Ticino to stick onto parfait 😉
The thing is, you really need the dough to be warm up there

She basically mentioned she wouldn't recommend using that specific glue at all...

I'll probably just grab some cookies and cake from that Kansas City bakery instead. Any reviews?

I actually picked up some treats from Kansas City recently, and honestly, they were absolutely delicious!!!
I'll let you know how everyone else reacts after January 31st...🙂

I recently ordered a selection of cookies and a cake from Whole Foods—and honestly, I am quite pleased with the results. The cookies arrived neatly packaged in individual boxes, while the cake was presented on a truly lovely stand; everything was executed exactly as we had discussed. I'll post some photos below.

Here’s my cake, just ignore those damn sprinkles

So, I see people are mentioning the bakery in Kansas City; they’re actually handling our cake as part of the set menu, but we're seriously considering picking up some extra pastries from them too, so we'll see how it goes. We tried some of their cakes—not wedding style, just standard ones—and honestly, they seemed pretty solid.
Yesterday my wife mentioned the price per pound is $27 if anyone was wondering.
Also, if there are any experts out there, I’d love an opinion on whether a cake looks significantly worse if you go with whipped cream instead of fondant. I've never been a fan of fondant, and we’d probably just do whipped cream on the outside, so I'm still weighing my options.

Hey ladies—does anyone happen to have a recommendation for someone who does great cakes or pastries out in the Midwest?

Hi. I ordered some treats from a little bakery called Sweet Gifts over in rural Pennsylvania. The owners are incredibly friendly, a pound of pastries is $20, and their cakes are $60 per tier. The sweets are actually really delicious—has anyone else tried them?
