There’s actually an entire thread dedicated to wedding cakes and desserts where you could have dropped that question. Next time you're looking for something, maybe try doing a quick search through the existing topics first before starting a brand-new one just for the sake of it. You might find that the answer is already sitting there waiting for you! ☕

The price for that cake with the fountain on page 131 is $833 🙂

I thought I’d share a little update with you all... Yesterday, I organized a bit of a family tasting session at my place. It was basically a full house: my mom, my aunt, my cousin, and even my future sister-in-law joined in. We set out a massive spread featuring brands like Kasnar, Srecek, Cukeraj, and Meli to see which would work best for the big day. After some very serious deliberation, the jury reached a verdict: we’re going with Cukeraj and Meli. While Meli offers those classic cookie-style treats that feel just right for our wedding date, Cukeraj has that wonderful, creamy texture we love. They are both absolutely delicious, but I’m actually a little hesitant about ordering too many. Since quite a few of our relatives live far outside of New York City, I’d hate to send them home with a box of cookies that might not survive the long trip!

We ordered them here in the States. Think they were about $30... 😉.
They're solid 😍.

I sampled some cakes from a local boutique bakery—essentially just a Hershey’s chocolate bar experience. They weren't bad, per se; quite moist, but they felt heavy and I could definitely detect margarine in the frosting. I wasn't impressed, and frankly, my wedding cake needs to be absolutely flawless. 🤣

Hello everyone... I have heard some whispers regarding a new little confectionery shop opening up over in the suburbs near Philadelphia, called Casablanca... has anyone by any chance come across them yet?

Could someone point me toward a decent bakery in NYC? We’re looking for some pastries, and we definitely need a cake as well...

Does anyone happen to have a rough idea of what a cake for 250 people would run at Sugarman?

I think a friend mentioned they usually end up paying around $2,500... if I remember her correctly.

Hey everyone... I could use some help. I've already sorted out the cookies, but now I really need to find the right cake. I'm based out of Columbus, so I was wondering if anyone has ordered a cake from Graber or Luciana? I'd love to hear how their work turns out or if you have any other bakery recommendations between my place and Big Merchant where the wedding is being held. I know I should probably go sample everything at the shops myself, but I just won't have the time while I'm getting ready for the ceremony 🙂 also, I'd love to hear from anyone who has actually ordered cakes along that route before 🙂

Douglas Martinez15 - she got an Irke from Graber and man, it was such a stunning cake—I’m pretty sure it was all whipped cream, definitely wasn't that heavy Ticino style...
plus, she mentioned that the Irke was actually delicious too 🙂
she hasn't stopped by the Irke in quite a while, but maybe try sending her a private message...
