Western Digital from eBay

Hey everyone—sorry if this is being asked already, but I was wondering if those hard drives you grab off eBay (like a Passport 1 T, for example) actually come with a valid warranty here in the States.

Western Digital won't give you any kind of warranty if you didn't grab the drive from an authorized retailer or distributor.
