Could the mods on duty give me a clear definition of what counts as trolling here?

Your approach to trolling is basically like The Joker in a deck of cards—it’s got a million different uses. You can go online and find some textbook definition of what "trolling" actually means, but honestly, your cardboard-thin posts don't necessarily have to follow those rules.

Honestly, I’d almost prefer getting a ban than having my posts just vanish into thin air...
I went into the alternative subreddit to ask how to figure out my rising sign, and the post disappeared instantly.
Then, in that same sub, someone else comments saying their moon is orbiting Jupiter and their birth year is completely off...
I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but I think it's because zodiac signs aren't even accurate anyway—like, they're missing the thirteenth sign to actually complete the circle. And then, boom, the post is gone.
I just don't get it. If this is a space for alternative views, is asking about a rising sign really considered "spam" among all those fish enthusiasts?

You got flagged for trolling because, besides being totally off-topic, your post is just:
-set up to derail the whole conversation in directions that have nothing to do with the actual subject (and honestly, you aren't just hinting at it, you're asking questions specifically designed to pull people away from the point)
-basically implying that every other approach is wrong (except yours, which is apparently the only sane one). I mean, in this specific case, you might actually be right, but that's not what we're here to talk about, and it's definitely not your call to make.

Do yourself a favor and Google the definition—then go read the site rules.
If the mods think the warning was unfair or that an "off-topic" tag would’ve fit better, they can always change it or pull it.

I guess I earned it over time. Honestly, I wasn't really dwelling on the penalty itself, just thinking about my posts, but it doesn't matter much
There’s no need to go back and remove the strike; I didn't get it for no reason. As long as I can still jump in and post on the forum, I’m fine either way—whether I have zero strikes or fifty, it's all the same to me.
At the end of the day, I deserved the warning.

I suppose trolling would encompass anything that the Moderators deem to be trolling, provided that those decisions are subsequently upheld by the Admins during an appeal process, ☕
