Anthony Watson35 said:Exactly. And then you get some clueless reporter writing stuff like, "She picked up the languages from her parents and is now mastering them." 🤦
Give me a break. Seriously? "Mastering" things at three years old? Give me a freaking rest...
I mean, sure, if you grow up with parents who have these issues, she might pick up a few basic words—roughly the same level as any kid here in the States—and now *that's* front-page news? It’s always depressing seeing these insecure losers try to fix their own baggage through innocent kids. And man, my heart goes out to the daycare workers; don't even get me started on what those teachers deal with on a daily basis... 🙄

I know those parents. I only see them in passing, but I run into them constantly—how is that even possible? They always seem to have enough free time to hover over a teacher every single day just to whine about how they're "mismanaging" their precious little ones.

I know, I know—it's still early. It's my first pregnancy, the placenta is anterior, and I've got a pretty thick abdominal wall... but I just want to feel those little kicks. 😢

Don't sweat it 🙂
I see you're over 18 weeks... I was stressing about the exact same thing, so I checked with my doctor and they basically told me that given the placenta position and my own little extra padding 🙂 it's totally normal. For me, things didn't really start kicking until around 21 weeks 😍 and then it was intense. Now? Let's just say the baby is making up for lost time by absolutely wrecking me 😁 every single night.

So my mom was just on the phone with me—classic move—wondering, "Oh, how is it that you and your aunt are buying everything for the baby while your in-laws haven't lifted a finger?" Like, seriously? Do they even ask? Does it never cross their minds what kind of stuff you actually need? I mean, good grief, it’s for their own grandkid. What is wrong with people?
... 🤦 ...
I don't see them much (thank God), they don't ask anything, and I don't bother asking them... and yeah, I KNOW they're idiots, but honestly, I just can't be bothered to waste my energy explaining exactly *how* deep their stupidity goes—there's zero point. It's not like they'll suddenly become functional human beings just because I pointed it out... I'm just over it. And she just keeps going and going, the same old broken record, over and over again...

I’m just frustrated because I can never tell if it’s actually the baby moving or just my digestive system acting up. 😢 :not_sure: 😬

It's definitely my gut. And it’s driving me crazy. I've been lying around with terrible digestion, trying everything to fix it. I had a handful of dried apricots this morning, and now my stomach feels like it's boiling over.

Yeah, it's still way too early for you!
I get this weird sensation sometimes myself—though I can't say for sure if it's actually happening. 🤷

The amount of dust, lint, and hair I just found behind and underneath my washing machine is unreal 😲 😠
I got hit with a sudden cleaning mania and forced Jason Lee2 to pull the washer away from the wall just so I could wipe down the floor and that area 🤮
Tonight, I’m planning to do the same thing in the bedroom—lifting the mattress and the bed frame to vacuum underneath. Honestly, I'm already dreading what I'm going to find 😱🙂
And it's totally my own fault. I could have easily kept living in the delusion that dust doesn't accumulate back there and there was no point in ever cleaning it 🙈

Thanks! 😘 Hopefully it works the same way for me... though being the paranoid type, I guess I'll just keep staring at that crib...

Tell me about it!
That’s my issue too! Just when I think it's the baby, I get undeniable proof that it absolutely isn't....😁🙂

It’s honestly so frustrating. According to all those mindless BMI charts, I’ve already hit a weight I shouldn't even be touching at 15 weeks.😠😠😠😠

It just drives me crazy knowing I’m gonna be stuck dealing with this same headache at every single checkup. Like, why can't they see this? Why isn't that visible now? Why is this measuring 6mm instead of 8.5mm? 🙂 Honestly, screw all this "instant access to information" in the 21st century and my own damn ignorance. 😠

I second this.🙏🙏
I am sick of this football obsession.😂😂

Please, try not to spiral too much. I remember seeing you ask in another thread whether a gestational sac would be visible by week five. Well, in my experience—and I know everyone’s timeline is different—I was only six weeks along when they confirmed the pregnancy, though they couldn't detect a heartbeat just yet. Other women I’ve talked to here had totally different experiences, of course. It wasn't until my next scan that we finally saw the heartbeat. Just hang in there; sometimes things show up earlier, and sometimes they take a little longer. Everything happens on its own schedule.

It’s honestly infuriating—I can’t even make a simple trip to the local corner store without my stomach starting to feel like it's being stabbed from the inside. Yesterday, things got so bad that I actually had to sit right down on the sidewalk because walking or even just standing there was becoming impossible—and all this was just to emphasize that the shop is barely 300 yards away. 🙄I felt like breaking down in tears right then and there, just completely overwhelmed by how much everything hurts...

Oh boy, I had a moment like that just the other day! I wandered down to downtown Chicago for a little stroll, and suddenly, out of nowhere, the contractions started hitting me... I guess I just hurried home as fast as my legs could carry me.
Maybe people thought I was actually in labor, 🙂
but I honestly couldn't even walk properly until they finally let up. It was just awful.

That whole "one thing after another" routine—it feels all too familiar to me... I remember one day, driving home from a prenatal class, and I spent a good five minutes struggling with a single diaper change when even sixty seconds felt like an eternity...

Honestly, I never thought this would actually happen to us while I was scrolling through everyone else's stories on here... but all that constant buzzing and those endless texts asking "are you still holding up?" or "is the baby here yet?" and all that other stuff 😠 ...they aren't even bothering me anymore, they've moved on to bugging my husband.
Normally, I wouldn't care, but since I hit the 40-week mark and there’s zero sign of labor, I'm just a total wreck and every time my phone pings, I feel like I'm gonna lose it.
It’s just weird because it’s usually our inner circle asking—the people we were going to call first anyway, including my parents.

And man, everything just hurts. My pelvic bones feel like someone literally screwed them into place with a screwdriver, and I get hit with such sharp pains at the grocery store that I end up walking like I'm about to have an accident.😳😁

Oh, and don't even get me started on the grooming situation... since I could go into labor at any second, I feel like I'm shaving constantly and I'm seriously worried my skin is gonna peel right off my legs and down there.😲 (I mean, I always wax my legs and bikini area, but now I feel like I have to be absolutely flawless, so I'm just shaving everything), and don't even get me started on washing my hair.

Honey, my due date hasn't even arrived yet, so I can only imagine what's coming, but based on how things are going right now, I am dreading that date.🙄 I need to rest, I'm dealing with stomach pains, and my mom calls me every single day asking: "How are you feeling? Are you in pain?" 😠 It’s driving me insane; I get nervous just seeing her caller ID pop up on my screen... and lately, every time she calls, she tells me some story about a woman whose due date was June 5th and she still hasn't delivered.🙄 As if I care about a complete stranger's pregnancy timeline!
So, my conclusion is that starting a week before my due date, I'll probably get called at least five times a day. If I actually end up going past my date, I think I might just turn off my phone and my whole cell entirely.🤷

It is beyond infuriating when I can't even manage to shave properly... I've completely given up on waxing and those sessions at the local spa because my skin is just too sensitive right now, and honestly, I can barely move...
my husband actually had to step in and help me out just now.

My high blood pressure is really starting to get under my skin lately—it’s just exhausting. It looks like I’m going to have to bump up my dosage, too.

It’s honestly driving me up the wall:
1. A fever of 104!!!
2. This incredibly annoying rash I just noticed—it’s slightly red, too
3. These swelling streaaaaaaaams on my skin that look almost inflamed
4. Total, utter chaaaaaaaaos!
5. And the insomniaaaaaaaaaa
I feel like I should just check myself into a hospital somewhere... this is an absolute disaster!
