It honestly drives me crazy because I never step in to help people, and there’s a really simple reason for that. Just because someone doesn't look pregnant, disabled, or elderly doesn't mean they aren't struggling... they might be sick, maybe they're just dead tired... and honestly, things might be way harder for them than they are for me even if they look totally fine 🤷 plus, I’m just one of those people who absolutely hates asking for help. It feels so embarrassing to even ask when I actually need it, ugh 👎 but whenever I see a crowd waving their bags around and sprinting across the station to catch the 12th Street bus—which comes every 6 or 7 minutes anyway—I just think to myself, man, look, you can act as old and pathetic as you want, but you're clearly more agile than I am... if it were actually that hard for you, you wouldn't be running, you'd just wait for the next bus 😂

But since I've been pregnant? Yeah, I don't get up for anyone 🙂 I’m being dead serious—like, sorry, but I’m pregnant, go ask someone else 🙂 except for that one time a few months back when I was about four months along... there was this other pregnant woman who was showing like crazy, and even she couldn't get anyone to give up a seat 🤷

Got some old-school nonsense today. A close friend of mine just told me she’s pregnant 🙂. She had a little spotting—just light bleeding—and then some idiots started freaking her out, claiming ultrasounds are WAY too dangerous during early pregnancy. 🙂
I had my first scan at maybe 4 weeks, and thank God I did, because otherwise who knows when we would've caught that unlucky hematoma. It got me put on Duphaston right away and everything turned out fine. If I’d waited weeks? Who knows what would’ve happened. I barely managed to explain to her to stop listening to uneducated morons and just book an appointment ASAP. 🙄
On the transit front—today I go to board the bus and some old guy tries to shove his way past me and catches me in the ribs with his elbow. And man, he's got some strength! 😠 He hit my bag, lucky me. Proudly reporting that I instinctively reacted like I never have in my life and gave him a taste of his own medicine. No regrets either—zero conscience here.

So, I am beyond proud to say that I totally went into autopilot mode—just reacted instinctively, like, exactly how I always do—and I gave him a piece of my mind right back! I didn't hold anything back either, just pushed right through and told him straight up: you have absolutely zero conscience

Today I am just 🙄... honestly, I'm so frustrated:

- Because I woke up at 4:30 AM with the worst cramps I’ve ever felt in my entire life (in both legs)😢
- And because I couldn't get back to sleep after that...
- And because my husband didn't get why I was being so cranky when he woke up, even though I told him immediately what happened
- And because I'm incredibly sleepy right now, but I'm already at work and feel silly if I just head home early🤷
- And because my first stretch mark just appeared right under my belly button, even though my stomach is the one part of my body I actually moisturize religiously
- And because my belly is itching like crazy right now
- And because I had this dream that I gave birth to a 8.5 lb baby during my seventh month (like from gestational diabetes), and I still can't shake that feeling of guilt from the dream...

Man... my boss is driving me absolutely insane with his sheer incompetence and the way he constantly sticks his nose where it doesn't belong. 😠

Honestly, the wildest part about being pregnant has been the constant comments from random people about how I look. Like, who even gave them permission? If you’re pregnant, everyone suddenly thinks they have a VIP pass to critique you out loud in public. "Oh, you've really put on weight," or "No, you didn't gain weight, you just have a huge belly," or "Wow, you're huge, are you having twins?" I heard all that nonsense during my first pregnancy, and now it's happening all over again with this one. Just the other day, I ran into this woman I've maybe met twice—she's a friend of my husband's—and she sees I'm pregnant and asks when the baby is due. I'm being all friendly, telling her I'm due early summer, and she just goes, "Gosh, you're already so big, imagine how huge you'll be by the end!" Like, excuse me?! And this comes from a woman who has two kids and is OBVIOUSLY carrying some extra weight herself. Seriously, if you don't have anything nice to say, just keep it to yourself.

Seriously though—has anyone actually dealt with this weight gain thing while maintaining a normal BMI? Because for me, it’s been a total joke. First off, it’s always women 😢 . Second, at least in my experience so far, it's just constant bloating that makes you look more like a bloated balloon than a person (and obviously, no, I'm not pregnant). 🙄

Here’s a little tip—when some lady who’s carrying a bit of extra weight asks if you’re having twins, just give her a polite smile and say, "No, actually, it's triplets..." I find it exhausting lugging all this weight around in front of people... so I pair it with a deeply tragic expression. Then, once they've processed that, I'll just glance down at their waistline and ask, "So, how many are you expecting?" Lying to a stranger might be a sin, but seeing the look on their face? Totally worth it. 😠
If she looks like she’s a bit older, swap out the pregnancy question for: "I see those postpartum pounds are still hanging around for you." 😬
Personally, I don't think anyone will ever be brave enough to comment on my size again after that.

🙏
Plus, I've put on two pounds already... anyone who doesn't know I'm pregnant hasn't even breathed a word, it's not showing... but the old timers who know? Oh yeah, they're all over it.
Great advice—I'm definitely using that. I don't even go to church, so I'll skip the whole "sinning" part. 👍 🤣

Honestly, hemorrhoids are the absolute worst right now... just when I was feeling good enough to brag about them being under control, they decided to come back and kick my butt 😠
And looking ahead at the next three months until I actually pop this baby out... 😱 I have no idea how anyone is supposed to deal with this crap 😢

Facts. It's mostly women commenting, usually the ones who are way too thin or way too heavy. They seem totally obsessed with the scale—just watching everyone else gain or lose weight and talking about nothing else.

Solid advice😉. Now we just need a comeback for those super skinny girls who are also obsessed with body image 😛. Like, I have this coworker, she's over 30, hasn't had a boyfriend in forever, doesn't have a job, stays home, and is way too thin. The whole conversation always turns into how all our school friends gained weight because they got married and had kids and couldn't get back to their old selves, while she's been the exact same weight since high school 🙄.

Good for her, right? Total life goals. 🙏
No wonder she isn't gaining weight—all those calories are being burned off by pure spite and frustration. 🤣

God... I can't stand it when people start handing out unsolicited advice. It’s like, nobody asked. You’ll lose the weight eventually while you're nursing, just wait.

First off, I didn't ask anyone for their opinion in the first place...🙂:2up:

And second... what works for one person doesn't work for everyone. For some, breastfeeding is easy; for others, it's the exact opposite.

When I was nursing, it was a nightmare. I was constantly bloated and put on weight. My mother used to say the same thing—as soon as I stopped nursing, the pounds started dropping off. But then I got pregnant again, so it was back to square one.🙂

Hahahaha
It was the exact same story with a friend of mine. By New Year's, she was still pretty heavy and kept saying, "I can't even go back to the office; I have nothing to wear." She stopped nursing, and honestly, she looks fantastic now.

Anthony Watson35 hit the nail on the head... and honestly, that's an achievement in itself...
I have a few options for a comeback:
- "Yeah, you look great—like you haven't eaten since last Christmas / Easter..."
- Just ignore her comment entirely... then pivot straight to talking about sex, cuddling, and all the other joys you share with your husband... or don't have, but either way, you rub her lack of a sex life right in her face... because clearly, that's her core issue...
- Ask her point-blank: "Are you that thin because you're celibate or just lonely?"
etc.
Of course, you have to be sure the person is actually being malicious... someone who isn't being spiteful wouldn't say something like that... and if they are, they deserve a nasty reply...

My boss has been driving me absolutely insane for days now—especially yesterday. She’s an uptight old lady normally, but with all these corporate restructuring shifts happening, she can't even sit in her ergonomic chair without losing her mind. Her direct supervisor just left the company, so now this old hag is panicking because she has no clue who's taking over his spot. Basically, she doesn't know whose ass she needs to start kissing immediately. As incompetent as she is, she isn't stupid enough to realize it—and she sure knows that sucking up is the only way she keeps her desk. She's been hysterical for days, and obviously, we're all stuck dealing with the fallout.
I CANNOT WAIT to get out of this dump!!! 😠

I absolutely lost my cool on the subway yesterday. Seriously, what is wrong with people? Is it actually against the law to OFFER a seat to someone who needs it?!?!?!!??!
It’s like everyone sitting there thinks they’re getting an extra bonus in their paycheck just for occupying a seat. 😠

And, uh, excuse my language there. 😬

Ugh... I am so incredibly tired of dealing with these kinds of comments myself...
I’ve always been slim—partly thanks to staying active and partly just genetics—and these women who look like they're carrying entire whales always find a way to mock me... especially now. They hit me with things like, "Oh, you're so thin, you clearly aren't eating enough, your baby won't be healthy," or they tell me I look like a little stick (which is honestly so insulting; if I could, I'd snap back and tell them to get lost, maybe mention their heads are shaped like a massive bass drum, but I don't). Then there's the comment that I'll end up looking like a stork with a giant belly... it’s absolutely disgusting, truly, and what makes it even worse is that I eat perfectly normally! In fact, I probably eat twice as much as those women because they are constantly obsessed with dieting. I swear, my husband and I eat almost identical portions for lunch and dinner, and he’s a literal giant...
And yet, they never stop commenting on how my belly is already showing, and then—to top it all off—they actually try to touch me, asking me to lift my shirt... what is wrong with people?! Do you want me to strip down right in the middle of a crowded shopping mall just so you can satisfy your curiosity???

Stupid stretch marks 😠😠
On top of one line right below my belly button, I've got new ones popping up higher up now... and honestly, my stomach is the only part of my body I actually bother moisturizing 😢

Those marks get on my nerves too; right now, I feel like I'm covered in them. 😢
But usually, it's the ones forming a sort of snowflake pattern above my navel that bother me most. 😁
I have them below my stomach as well (though I only really notice those when I'm looking in the mirror 😛).

So, when my little one is literally stretching my skin out, it makes sense that I've ended up with cracks everywhere. 🙄
