Windows XP boot issues

I just finished installing Windows XP, but I've noticed it takes about 30 seconds or so before the Windows logo actually pops up on the screen. It feels a bit strange to me, I guess, because the machines we use at my office usually show that logo after maybe five seconds or so. I'm wondering if there might be some sort of underlying issue causing this delay. Any ideas? Thanks.

Either turn it off or just disable the network interface entirely if you aren't using it anyway...
