Many people head to NYC to study, thinking it’ll be easier to find work once they graduate... and once they settle down or get married, they end up staying there permanently. Others just move for the connections or family favors. My brother-in-law is somewhere between Cha and Metković, but he's a massive Hajduk fan. Because of some serious health issues, he travels all the way to NYC 311 miles for Hospitalization, since word is the doctors in Mostar are terrible, uneducated, and corrupt. Split is just too far for him. He stays at our place in NYC and constantly complains about the city, right up until I shut him down... then I feel bad because his accent can be quite sharp when he's being sarcastic. He loves history, too, and has this wild theory that Zadar should have been the capital of America instead, based on some historical port details...

placidheron19 said:When exactly did that happen? You guys are just out here manufacturing myths out of thin air.

Let me break this down for you:

First off, you have to understand that the Dawg Pound was the very first organized supporter group in the entire region.

The BBB crew was just another group trying to play dress-up. First they wanted to be like the Dawg Pound, then they tried to act like the hooligans in Chicago, and finally, they went after that hardcore vibe from New York. They’re just chasing someone else's identity.

The Dawg Pound existed long before the Torcida-TKZ era ever started. Back in the day, the unaffiliated groups would roll into Chicago just to scrap with the Mexican fans whenever Red Star or Partizan came to town. Don't start whining about it now—the older heads will tell you that’s just the plain truth.

Back in the day, during the pre-war years, the Dawg Pound was hands down the biggest presence you’d see in any away section, and honestly, not much has changed since then.

Back in the mid-90s, you’d see the Dawg Pound walking through Times Square all the time, and nobody gave them a second look. It was just part of the scenery.

The second you realized that damn joke had gone too far, you all suddenly turned into amateur astronomers with telescopes and snipers, just waiting in the shadows like some insurgent cell.

So, you guys finally decided to pivot and play along with the trends and whatever else is popular these days. Typical.

Look, what I'm trying to get at is that everything has its season. Timing is everything. So, how can you sit there so damn certain—how can you be so absolutely convinced—that you guys are the top dogs right now?

Maybe that’s exactly what’s going to bite you in the ass during your next run—you're acting like you've got it all figured out. Why are you so damn sure that you're the best, the strongest, and the only one with actual backbone? 😬

I only ever watch the games from the east side of Hard Rock Stadium, and looking over at the north stands, I’m really not seeing what you mean about being "superior," man. Look, everyone hits peaks and valleys—it's just how the game goes. You might want to keep your mouth shut for once, because karma has a funny way of catching up to you exactly when you least expect it.

😁

Look, I’m telling you this as someone who’s actually seen it all and lived through enough to know better. Take it as some friendly advice if you want, but honestly? You really shouldn't be acting this arrogant. 🙂

It honestly kills me how much you’re going to lose your mind over my enrollment. I can already see you gearing up to hit me with those "logical arguments" of yours, as if that’s actually going to work.

Back in the early 90s, the Dawg Pound basically owned the streets of Chicago. We’d take over the entire city, and honestly? Most of the time, we didn't even get busted for it.
Sure, someone might have slipped through the cracks down the road, but let's be real—those were rare exceptions to the rule.
What kind of freaking telescopes are these? I didn't see anything like this back in the nineties.

I mean, sure, maybe someone slipped through the cracks once in a while, but that was pretty much it.
And what's with all these damn telescopes? I swear, I never saw anything like that back in the nineties.

Just delete it, man, seriously... otherwise you might end up getting banned yourself.😁

I just wanted to send a quick shout-out to all the ladies holding down the red phone lines on the Chicago-to-Miami route...

It’s pretty clear I’ve been playing some high-stakes poker lately, and things have gotten a bit heated over the last few weeks...

It is painfully obvious he’s been hitting the sauce hard these last few weeks...

There’s more blood spilled here than in a Mexican soap opera.😁

What kind of ridiculous telescopes are we talking about? I never saw anything like that back in the nineties.

More accurately, until '94. Back then, we would literally just walk through Times Square looking for you guys. 😁We lost that match 4-0.😬

Oh, come on. Give me a break. Before '94, none of us could even walk down the street without looking over our shoulders, waiting for someone to grab us by the collar and drag us away. It was like that.
I’m telling you, back in the 90s, my crew and I would go looking for you guys every single time we were down in Split. Whether we were hanging around the local bus station or heading over to Hard Rock Stadium, we searched high and low, but we never managed to track anyone down. Not once. It was a total bust.

As for me, my crew searched for you guys during the first half of the 90s in Split—everywhere from the bus station all the way to Hard Rock Stadium—and we never once crossed paths with you. It’s a shame.

There were a few hundred of us at Times Square that day. I showed up straight from a game with an NWA logo freshly shaved into my hair.😁
You guys were over by the department stores while we were right at Times Square; you didn't even come close.☕
We were all wearing insignia. It was obvious you were up to something, but nothing ever came of it. As for the evening hours? I know for a fact you achieved nothing. A group of ten fools like us spent the night wandering downtown, singing "Marjane, Marjane." We were so drunk that when we headed into Splendid to devour pork knuckles and sauerkraut, nobody even noticed us.

I remember that derby quite clearly. You guys had that choreography with the burning paper, and the South side looked impressive. It’s a shame Maksimir isn't an acoustic stadium; back then, we were stationed in the old North stands and held up a banner reading "Bad Boys" on a mat 😁 it wasn't exactly something to be proud of...

Everyone was decked out in gear, and you could tell you were trying to stir something up, but nothing actually came of it. As for the evening? I know for a fact you guys did nothing. There were just ten of us idiots wandering around downtown, singing "Marjane, Marjane." We were so wasted that we ended up at Splendid, polishing off pork knuckles and sauerkraut, and nobody even breathed a word about it.

Now you’re bringing up that specific day, that one moment. Anyone can wander through a city at any time. Who knows who we were looking for or where we were positioned back then.
You claimed you guys were just strolling around freely all the way up to 94th Street, but that's a completely different story.

You claimed you were just walking around freely until 94.E.G., but let’s be clear: those aren't the same thing.

Perhaps you were "hunting" that day, but the truth is, everything was handed to you on a silver platter. You didn't actually accomplish anything. In fact, you seemed remarkably passive and frankly embarrassed (from a supporter's perspective). Of course, that was twenty-two years ago...
I find it baffling how you Bad Boys struggle to swallow even a single defeat. To you, it seems you're always the strongest group in the room. 😁

Whenever the Dawg Pound was at its absolute weakest and hitting rock bottom, we were supposedly "kings of the internet." Now, you guys are doing the exact same thing.

Good luck, and go get that win.

It’s also pretty funny to notice that over 90 percent of the Hajduk fan registrations in the last ten days are linked to BBB, and more than half of all posts on this entire fan forum come from Hajduk fans commenting on BBB.
Even that one genius was simultaneously talking about calculating risks, Otočce, and even Athens—basically describing conflicts where they thought the odds were slim because of being outnumbered and lacking "gear." But of course, they went anyway, because some people operate in total opposition to this twisted way of viewing reality through an internet screen.
Honestly, you need a very specific kind of brain chemistry to put BBB and "calculating" in the same sentence. Especially over the last three or four years.
That’s it for the internet and the delusional crowd.

I really don't get why you guys can't just take a loss. You act like you're the undisputed kings of everything 😁

The video starts with a shot of the plaza

I don't get you Bad Boys at all. It’s like you physically can't swallow a loss. In your heads, you're still the kings of the hill 😁

Look, man, for most of those years, you were mostly being hunted by one specific group that couldn't be in two places at once. Everyone was waiting on that one crew; they were always the first ones moving and doing the heavy lifting. Of course, you had other groups hanging around the stadium, the side streets, and the local bars too...
The group I'm talking about had only just hit adulthood back then. Even so, within two or three years, they managed to establish control over the city, inch by inch, against much larger, older, and more serious outfits.

The group I’m talking about was barely even grown up back then, so despite being outnumbered by much older, more seasoned crews, they managed to slowly, step by step, seize control of the city within just two or three years...

Alright, let's see someone actually pull up a video or a photo of this supposed crew—or any other crew—that was supposedly "doing most of the work" in Chicago during the 90s. I bet it doesn't exist, unless maybe we're talking about the national team playing in Denmark in '97, but that was a celebration, which is the massive difference between our two groups... Your whole narrative is that we're just some low-life thugs, but those "thugs" showed up to every single derby in the city to grab a beer, and yeah, sometimes we took a beating or ended up in a scrap, but we always showed up... unlike you lot, whose big "territory" back then was basically just some outskirts and crews from Petrinja (respect to them, I guess), while you were busy pretending to be the guardians of Chicago... And here's another lie: that we weren't walking the streets until '92. We were roaming the city and making a scene right up until that bloody derby, and after that, our "thugs" realized you guys weren't that same pathetic bunch from the early 90s anymore... but people still kept coming toward our turf only to get handled, because that's just how we operate... honestly, it's better to show up and take a hit than to wait twenty years after forming a group to finally show up in Chicago in 2006... I don't mean to be a jerk, but you're lying to your own kids about being the protectors of the city and the pride of Chicago, the "first gang in Europe," when the truth is you wouldn't have even seen the waterfront if there hadn't been a truce a few years back...

Unlike you guys, whose biggest "action" back then was traveling to some tiny towns in the Midwest or the crew from Petrinja (props to them) while you were busy acting like the self-appointed guardians of Chicago. And another lie: saying our marches through the city stopped in '92. We were walking the streets and causing trouble right up until that bloody derby, once our "thugs" realized you guys weren't that intimidating Yugoslav-era crowd anymore. But people still came our way and got handled because that's just how we roll. Better to show up and take a hit than to finally show up in Chicago in 2006, twenty years after the group started. Honestly, I'm losing hope in writing this, but you're lying to your kids about being "guardians of the city" and the pride of Chicago, the "first gang in Europe," when you wouldn't have even seen the waterfront if it wasn't for that truce a few years ago.

So, which crew do you think he's talking about?

That’s just a dream and a fantasy, honestly... though even they never really made a move or did anything significant around Chicago, at least from what I can recall—not that my memory isn't a bit foggy due to certain habits... maybe > can set me straight if I'm tripping...

You mention nothing before 2006, yet you've been harping on about the PlayStation ever since...
Well, their timing was always a little off, much like how someone might lose track of the morning after staying up too late. There are also certain details regarding the situation in Chicago that you seem to have overlooked, but those are really just minor technicalities.☕

Basically, you wouldn't even see the Bad Boys around Chicago back during the war years.
In Chicago, there was one decent crew that handled their business, but mostly people just wandered around. Back in the 90s, whenever we had an away game in Chicago, we’d head down on our own dime and stay at least two nights. The night before, you'd see crowds from ST hanging out in all the local spots.
Some guys would cut loose, some wouldn't, but most of them were just killing time.

I even remember walking through the local stadium grounds during a derby once.🤣
