I don't know, I really thought I could hang in there, but the mental pressure is just getting to be too much. It's all up here in my head.
Man...
Man...

A friend of mine just took a pregnancy test and there was no control line, but the positive line showed up anyway. I know this sounds stupid, but what does that even mean?

It’s entirely possible the test was just a dud and they swapped the control and positive markings by mistake. 😕
Honestly, she should just grab a new one and run the test again to be absolutely certain.

Here’s another silly question for you guys:
Do you think if I wait until tomorrow afternoon—say around 3 or 4 PM—to take the test, it’ll still pick up my hormone levels? I can grab the kit in the morning, but I just can't hold out until the following morning.

Look, if you've managed to hold out this long, I don't see why a few extra hours would break you. 😉
Honestly, though, I suspect the results would still be accurate because from what I can tell, you've been questioning this for quite a while now, and your period has already come and gone... If there's actually something going on, it should show up by then.

Yeah, you've got a point. I'll just hold out until tomorrow morning—because if the results come back negative, I’m definitely going to be sitting there thinking, "Hmm, maybe the hormone dosage wasn't quite enough..."

I know you can use Victoria's Secret at any time of day.

So, I tried using Intim Plus around 1 PM, and yeah, it was a total game changer... you can honestly use it whenever the hell you want!!! It runs about $23...

Joshua Clark said:I can't take this anymore. I went to grab a test only to realize it was already ten to eight at night... so now I have to wait until tomorrow. But there's no way I can sit around waiting for the morning shift either—fingers crossed there's a decent afternoon one available.
Don't worry, I used an afternoon sample once too. It took maybe two seconds to get a result.🤣

I don't know. I wouldn't say I'm feeling lucky—but given everything I've learned from the godfather of dieting and where my life is at right now...
well..
well..

So, my last period was on March 16th. Usually, I’m pretty regular—gets me every 27 days like clockwork. But I took a test today and it came back positive! Honestly, I didn't even believe it at first, so I rushed over to my OB-GYN. She looked everything over and told me she couldn't see anything on the ultrasound, so according to her, there's no pregnancy. She just told me to come back in two weeks. Can you believe that? Right after she finishes the exam, I head straight to CVS to grab another test, and boom—positive again. Now I'm totally lost... what do I do? Should I trust the tests or the doctor?? Help!

I'm honestly not sure what to tell you... Most people say those home tests are basically 100% accurate. Plus, if you were far enough along, a doctor should have picked up something on the ultrasound by now. If I were in your shoes, I'd go get a second opinion from a different doctor immediately. That seems like the smartest move right now.

She told me I showed up a whole week early, so now we can't even hang out yet. Ugh, seriously?! Grrrr!

So, my last period was back on March 16th. Usually, I’m pretty regular—like, every 27 days, no problem. But I took a test today and... yep, positive. I honestly couldn't believe it! So, naturally, I rushed over to my OB-GYN, right? And get this: she looks at me and basically says she doesn't see anything. She told me there's no pregnancy and to just come back in two weeks. Can you believe that? Right after she finishes up, I head straight back to the CVS, grab another test, and—boom—positive again. Seriously? Now I'm just stuck wondering... who do I actually trust here? Should I believe the tests or my doctor?? Help me out, guys!

Maybe she’s just totally missing the signs—I don't know, maybe she's just being scatterbrained—but a test can't react to a hormone if it isn't there. Bottom line: you're pregnant.
