Dr. Darko Kaštelan at Rebro Hospital is truly top-tier; even during a standard checkup, he’ll spend at least half an hour or more with you. 👍

I’m on the hunt for a solid GP around Cleveland or somewhere nearby—someone who actually takes the time to figure out what's wrong before just throwing a handful of pills at you. And please, someone who isn't stingy when it comes to handing out referrals to specialists...

Hey everyone!
I have an upcoming EGD—esophagogastroduodenoscopy—and a colonoscopy scheduled, both involving multiple biopsies. Does anyone have experience with a specialist who is particularly skilled and gentle? I'm based in Chicago, but I wouldn't mind traveling out toward Naperville or similar areas if it means finding someone truly precise.

Saint Catherine—any orthopedist should have an opening within a week if you're using a referral.

I was wondering if anyone might be able to offer a recommendation for a good pulmonologist in Chicago?
Thank you so much.

I’m living here in the States and I already dropped $2,500 on an orchidectomy.
Now I’m looking into a penectomy without the vaginoplasty, which is going to run me about $7,000.
I tried emailing some hospitals back home, but honestly, nobody is getting back to me... total radio silence.
Maybe someone here knows a doctor who actually performs this and wouldn't mind giving me a quote?
I’ve also been talking to Dr. Schaff in Munich, but I’m still waiting to hear what the damage will be there.

I think most people around here head over to Mexico to get that handled. There’s this pretty well-known, highly successful doctor, Miroslav Đorđević—he's a urologist—who does incredible work with those kinds of procedures there.
Give it a quick Google search. There’s actually a great little feature about it on the show Hrt svaki dan dobar dan.
You should also try reaching out to organizations like Iskorak and Kontra. I'm sure they can point you toward the best specialists for these types of surgeries and give you an idea of what the costs look like.
Good luck 🙂

Just try a quick Google search. There’s actually a nice little segment about it on the show HRT Svaki dan dobar dan.
Also, you should definitely reach out to organizations like Iskorak and Kontra. I'm sure they have all the info on where the best places for these procedures are, which specialists to trust, and what the costs look like.
Good luck 🙂

Thanks 🙂

I actually spoke with Dr. Djordjevic once, but he’s asking for two different letters from a psychiatrist. I only have one right now, and getting a second one is going to be a huge pain since I'm traveling for work.

For Dr. Schaff, just one letter is enough, and it's the same deal with Dr. Farrah in Detroit.

But hey, thanks for the links, I'll check them out to see if I can dig up more info.

Ashley Martin78 said:Željko Gredičak is definitely the best, though I'm not sure if he's still doing this or if he's gone full-time into karting now.

Personally, I think computer-controlled vision is the way to go.

The stuff at the Gredičaks' place is basically cheap Chinese imports, but they charge you premium prices.

I need a recommendation for a primary care physician in Chicago. Ideally, someone near the West Health Center on Barun Filipović Approach, but somewhere central would work too. Thanks.

Has anyone here dealt with the dermatologists over at Nola Clinic or the Dermalife team? Or maybe someone has a different recommendation entirely? I’m dealing with some scalp issues—major flaking.
Has anyone actually sat in one of their chairs lately and can share what the experience was like?
How are they professionally? And more importantly, what are we looking at in terms of pricing?
Thanks.

I am currently looking for a private clinic in the vicinity of Indianapolis, Virovitica, or Bjelovar where I might schedule a comprehensive physical exam.
I did some digging on Google, but I only managed to find two:
Baturina
i Emma.

I also have a quick question on the side,
Can I get a systemic review covered by Medicare?
Or perhaps, what if I already have supplemental health insurance through them?
I am not particularly well-versed in this matter, so I would be quite grateful if someone could lend me a hand. 🙂

Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid general practitioner over in Grizanski?

Basically, I’m looking for a doctor who isn't arrogant—someone who actually knows their stuff—and, more importantly, a practice where the nurse actually picks up the phone. That seems to be a lost art these days.
Right now, I’m seeing Mrsic-Novacki, and frankly, I’ve run out of polite things to say about her; she has officially crossed every line imaginable. I was thinking about switching over to Dr. Puljević (I think that's the spelling), but then I sat in the waiting room and just heard a chorus of bitter patients complaining about the nurse. Apparently, she runs the place like it's the Wild West, and even the patients are unhappy with the doctor.😢

I'm looking for some recommendations for a solid ophthalmologist or a good optical shop... I have a referral, but I'm totally open to going private too.
Also, does anyone know a good specialist like Dr. Ginić? I've had much better luck with private doctors, but if there's someone great covered by Medicare so I don't have to wait a month for an appointment... I'd really appreciate it.
The location is Seattle.

I’m trying to figure out if there’s actually a rule regarding taking on new patients. To be honest, I live all the way on the other side of town and trekking 10 miles to my primary care doctor is a massive pain. But every single time I call a clinic at the West Health Center right next to my building, they just tell me they aren't accepting new patients 😕.
How am I supposed to switch to a doctor who isn't so far 9.3 miles from my place 😁? Should I just start calling every single health center in order, starting with the closest ones and working my way out? It feels like everyone is just going to give me the same excuse about being full. I honestly don't get 🙂

Maybe Matilda Tandara?
I used to see Mrsic-Novacki too, and for a little while, Tandara was covering for her. She seemed much better than Mrsic to me—she actually sent me for the necessary tests and generally seemed more engaged in my care
. I wasn't her patient for very long, though, so I can't really say how she is in the long run 🙂.😉
