Is it safe to dig into some cabbage rolls about 5 or 6 hours after having my lower second premolar extracted?

Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a dermatologist who actually specializes in neurodermatitis?

Hey..
Looking for a solid dentist and endodontist around the Washington, D.C. area. Feel free to hit me up via PM, but please just list out their prices for fillings, extractions, and root canals right here if you can.
I haven't got a clue what the going rates are, and honestly, I can't afford to drop a fortune $333 on every single tooth.

Can anyone recommend a dentist in Washington, D.C.? A clinic or somewhere close to the city center...
It doesn't necessarily have to be private practice. Also, does anyone know what the cutoff time is for booking an appointment?

It doesn't have to be a private practice. Also, does anyone know how long it actually takes to transfer insurance or records?

Try the local community health center—Dr. Irena Prica is great. I'm not entirely sure about the paperwork side of transferring everything, but honestly, I'm pretty sure you can get it done.

I honestly have no clue what the standard prices look like, and I definitely can't afford to drop $333 on every single tooth..

They’re private, but things like wisdom tooth extractions can usually be covered by insurance, whereas other stuff is out-of-pocket. They're pretty good, though. Check their website for pricing—if it isn't listed, just give them a call.

Thanks. :-) Could you please DM me her phone number?

Can anyone point me toward a legit dermatologist in the Washington, D.C. area? I’m looking for someone who actually does their job, you know? I don't want some hack who just hands over a bunch of random creams and sends me on my way without a second thought. I need a doctor who’s going to actually dig deep and try to find the actual root cause of my acne instead of just treating the surface stuff. Needs to be in D.C., though. Thanks! 🙂

I’d personally suggest seeing Dr. sokol—my skin actually cleared up thanks to her treatments and the specific creams she put me on. Honestly though, I don't think anyone can ever point to one single "true" cause for acne... believe me on that one. It hits everyone—the buff guys, the skinny people, those dealing with hormonal shifts, and those who aren't. Some people live on sugar and others don't touch it; some are totally stressed out and others are chill. There are just so many different factors at play. I’ve seen several dermatologists myself, and nobody could ever give me a definitive answer on the root cause. At the end of the day, the most important thing is finding a doctor who can accurately identify your specific skin type.

And look, nobody is ever going to give you a straight answer on what actually causes acne, just believe me on that one... it doesn't matter if you're buff or skinny, whether your hormones are acting up or not, if you're a sugar addict or you stay away from sweets, or if you're constantly stressed out or totally chill. A million different things trigger it. I've cycled through several different dermatologists and none of them could pinpoint a single "real" cause... the whole thing really just comes down to having a doctor who can actually identify your specific skin type correctly.

yeah, I've definitely heard of her before... and I think I saw someone mention on another thread that she finally opened her own private practice! thanks for the heads up.

So, I was wondering if anyone here knows a good gynecologist in the States... ideally a woman? Also, I’m a bit curious about how the whole appointment actually goes. Like, where do you change and all that stuff? I’ve never actually been to one before... thanks!

I’m looking for a solid dentist—specifically an oral surgeon who can handle wisdom tooth extractions. Honestly, I’m terrified, so if you know someone who actually has a gentle touch and can help ease the anxiety, please let me know.

Right, so that private office is pretty close to the suburbs—it's an easy bus ride if you don't want to drive, but if you do take the car, they've got plenty of parking right in the driveway. The treatment itself is $83, and I'm pretty sure the initial consultation is the same deal. You could probably just use your Medicare referral for the first visit, but you'd have to go through the local community health center in the city first, and then they'd eventually schedule you in for the actual 👍 sessions.

Do you know anyone like that in Washington, D.C.?

I actually went to them to get two of my wisdom teeth pulled—honestly, there's nothing to fear! They make the whole thing super quick and painless, and they’re really gentle when they give you the injection. You’ll definitely feel some soreness afterward—you should probably have some Advil ready to go—but I’d totally recommend them!

I’d highly recommend Dr. Ivasić over at Gentle Dental.

Does anyone happen to know a great private doctor who specializes in treating skin irritation on the genitals—specifically balanitis? I’m ideally looking for someone in Miami, but honestly, I wouldn't mind traveling to Washington, D.C. or any other cities across this Beautiful Coast if they're really good. I'm open to suggestions anywhere, really! Thanks so much in advance!

Hi there.

I'm looking for a rehabilitation clinic that offers inpatient stays and specialized doctors, NOT a nursing home.

I caught an ad on TV for a private rehab center that supposedly offers a more personalized approach to patient care. I didn't bother memorizing the name since I didn't think I'd actually need to look it up.

If anyone knows of something like this or has any firsthand experience to share, please let me know.

Ideally, it would be located in Washington, D.C. or somewhere nearby.

Thanks.

an initial exam for $67?? look, my face isn't exactly a total disaster zone, so that seems like a massive overkill to me... but whatever... thanks for the tip anyway, I guess.😉
