Look, you can see what's happening here—these are cheap shots. It's what people do when they run out of actual arguments; they just get emotional and start crying once they hear the truth...
The rest of the group basically tore her apart in that thread—they didn't hold back at all...
Then she tries to backtrack, claiming she didn't mean it the way it came across, and all that other nonsense...
Look, I’m not trying to dig up old ghosts or revive dead drama... it’s just that this whole conversation hit a nerve regarding a situation I dealt with a long time ago... so, here we are...😢

James, please don't let yourself go through that again. It's a disgrace to her, and honestly, it weighs on her soul too.😢I don't know if it helps, but whenever I feel someone looking at me with malice or hear something cruel, I just pray to God and trust in His protection. It's tragic, and frankly unbelievable, that she actually wrote that to you. Disgusting.😢

Austin Ramirez3 said:Lately, moms with strollers have been driving me absolutely crazy at the grocery store. 😬
I totally get that you can't just leave a baby out on the sidewalk, but seriously, ladies—you don't need to shove the stroller to one side and then block the entire aisle with your other arm! It makes it impossible to even reach the shelves. 🤷

I honestly don't get what the goal is, but hey, maybe I'll just get a concussion from a rogue stroller today. 😁

Sure, some moms just lose track of space and rudely take up half the store,
but what really gets under my skin is when they give me that sideways glance in the middle of the aisle, as if to say, "What are you doing here with a stroller?"
And what am I supposed to do about it? If I need something, I'm coming into the store, and obviously, I can't exactly leave a tiny infant home alone in a playpen... :/

OT
It really grinds my gears when people start dumping their stories about traumatic or tragic births on me.
I mean, seriously, why on earth would anyone do that? :2up:
Why would pregnant women even go around talking about such heavy stuff??? What's the point??
The next person who tries to tell me something like that is going to get a slap,
and I won't care if it's their own grandmother.

Maybe you should just leave the kid at home if you're heading out shopping...
Honestly, I am getting so irritated it actually hurts. I feel like I need to wash my hair every single day because this heat makes it so greasy, but I just can't do it every day since then I have to dry it too,
and if I do that, I think I might actually die...

And what really gets under my skin is when I show up to work with a bump and go visit my coworkers..
One of them always comments, "Oh, it's sooooooo lovely being pregnant! Come on, Sarah Adams3, what's the problem? Just enjoy it! I did everything totally normally while I was pregnant, driving around and all that,"
And I'm like, okay, I'm doing everything too, but it is soooooooo much harder than she thinks and I'm just over it.
I want the baby, obviously, but I'd love to be able to move around normally.
I was actually telling my husband last night,
that being pregnant is nice in its own way—you know, life growing inside you, all those emotions, the little kicks and nudges... there are definitely perks I've really enjoyed over the last few months,,,
but saying everything is just great? It's not...
I seriously can't wait to give birth because I'm just done.

Ugh, I seriously can't stand these constant ads about the EU popping up on my phone everywhere!

I hate summer. I used to be all about it 🙂...now the heat just makes me want to lose my mind.

Just ran into those "genius" parents at Target—had two kids, maybe 5 or 6 and 3 or 4 years old. Kids who can clearly walk on their own, right? But nope, they crammed both of them into one of those shopping carts with the little seat—not even using the actual car seat, just shoving them BOTH in there. Like, seriously? Am I really expected to put my groceries in a basket that's been covered in toddler footprints? 🤮 😠

Sign it. Sign it all. What a massive signature this is.

If they hold this pathetic referendum twenty times, I’ll show up twenty times just to check NO!!!

Not joining the EU!

Honestly, I’m mostly just frustrated with myself at this point—mostly because I am being incredibly lazy. I find myself just staring at the dishwasher, sitting there and waiting for it to somehow magically empty itself. I also had this fleeting, somewhat delusional thought that my bedsheets might just tuck themselves back in after I get up, you know? And then there's lunch... I mean, shouldn't that just sort of prepare itself? Good grief, I am feeling so unmotivated today!!!

I love the idea of summer, but I absolutely despise the heat. Especially this kind of heat.

It honestly drives me crazy how a single kiss on a show like Big Brother before 9 PM triggers a massive moral crusade from all the pundits and politicians, threatening to pull licenses and everything, yet at noon I look up at CNN and witness the cold-blooded MURDER OF A HUMAN BEING 😢
absolutely insane! 👎

Am I the only one who thinks this thread has completely lost its way? 🤷
It’d be fine if we just renamed this thing to something like "My Daily Grievances" or whatever—not that we don't already have enough of those threads floating around the forum🥳

-my breasts have been killing me for three months now, and honestly, just looking at them makes me 🙄
-there’s basically zero decent selection of bras for sensitive pregnancy breasts 🙄
-retailers are straight up ripping people off, charging insane prices for junk 🙄
-everywhere you look, there's this fake image of these glowing, happy pregnant women, when we all know deep down that pregnancy isn't exactly sunshine and rainbows 🙄
-the constant, relentless urge to just eat everything in sight 🙄
-and now suddenly some people act like I can't survive without a dryer, as if I'd ever manage without one (I guess I'll never truly understand how women used to function and dry their clothes back in the day 🙄)

There's probably more, but I'll get back to it if it hits me 😬

James Cox6 said:Actually, a mother of four wrote that to me right here on this forum—about three months after I suffered a stillbirth during one of these online discussions..
She told me I clearly deserved to lose my baby in the third trimester and that God knows who He chooses to bless with children.
It was a long time ago—three years back—but whenever those words cross my mind, I get chills. Even today, it honestly gives me chills..😢

😢

I remember when there was an announcement posted all over the site and in every single PDF thread to raise money for a little girl’s medical treatment. Her photos were up there too; I think one of the users might have even been her 🤷

I was keeping an eye on the classifieds section when the notice was pinned, and I was honestly stunned by how people were reacting in the comments. This mother, who had several kids, kept posting that raising money was pointless—that if it's part of God's plan to take the child, then why bother trying to save her? And she wrote it with such cold indifference.. It was disgusting, acting like nobody should interfere. She even went as far as saying if it were her own child, she wouldn't lift a finger because everything is just in God's hands.
Later that week, some stricter rules were implemented, and a few women publicly complained that the thread violated the guidelines and shouldn't have been in the classifieds in the first place. After a couple of days, the thread was shut down. Sadly, the little girl passed away shortly after.

I truly don't understand what drives someone to write something like that. If you don't have anything constructive to say or if you lack basic empathy, just skip the thread. Things like that aren't just sad; they're repulsive.

It seems absolutely nobody has any concept of how waiting in line works anymore. It isn’t just about the lack of patience, either; people constantly cut right in front of me as if I’m invisible, let alone the fact that they expect me to just stand there and yield this massive, ridiculous 😠
. Take today, for instance: I placed my ice cream on the conveyor belt, but instead of being served, the cashier kept ringing up the woman ahead of me. I figured I’d use those few seconds to grab a magazine, but when I returned, what do I find? This lady had shoved her overflowing basket right in front of my ice cream, acting as if I didn't even exist 😠. And then, of course, she takes her sweet time—just rambling on and on—until she finally manages to dig through her purse. She pulls out one handful of singles, another with nothing but fives, and then a final pile of heavy quarters 😠

It was an even bigger shock when I went for bloodwork; even though they have signs saying who gets priority, apparently "priority" doesn't exist there. At least that was my experience at the local community clinic in Seattle. I waited over an hour just to get my blood drawn, even though being pregnant is supposed to give me priority.
It's not like I'm huge and pregnant already, but honestly, I really don't want to pick up some random bug during my first trimester 😳

Interesting. My experience at the clinic near my house was actually quite decent, thank God. I went in for a blood draw, handed over my pregnancy paperwork, and didn't expect much. Sure enough: diabetics first. Then infants and small children. After them? Me. Just me. 😲 🙏 👍 😁 Once we were done, the rest of my pregnancy could proceed. Even though we arrived "on time," we still waited an hour. But there were still about ten people behind us who had been waiting for ninety minutes or more. Honestly, kudos to the staff—they squeezed us in as soon as they cleared the high-priority cases.

Alright, staying completely on topic here:
My feet are driving me insane. Specifically, my soles. It’s this hypersensitivity that’s getting to me. I actually had to kick off my Crocs just now because those little bumps inside—the ugliest, most comfortable shoes ever made—are poking me. It's maddening.
Until the day before yesterday, I hadn't even noticed those bumps existed. Now, I can barely walk in them because they’re so irritating.

Zachary Gray35 said:I remember once seeing a woman on here say that some acquaintance of hers deserved whatever tragedy hit her just because of how she acted.
It honestly sickened me to see one woman wish that kind of thing on another, regardless of what she’d done.
I wondered what kind of mindset you have to possess to even think that, let alone type it out. But look, this is a public forum; we can't see facial expressions or real-time reactions, we only see the words on the screen. That’s why it’s smart to think twice before hitting post—we don't all process things the same way. What might seem like a harmless jab to you feels like nothing but a nasty comment from one woman to another to me, especially since you only know people on MiM through their writing. 🤷

A smarter woman would have just said: God forbid she ever has to go through what I went through, and may she have an easy life with zero problems.

That’s exactly what I wished for that user mentioned earlier, and I hope that's what actually happened. 😉

I’m not the type to talk behind people's backs, so I’ll just be direct about how I saw and felt this situation.
MiM wrote something—likely without thinking it through—that wasn't exactly classy. My guess? She was just angry and phrased it clumsily, which made the whole context look bad.

Furthermore, Anthony Watson35, I don't think there's any point in fanning the flames, and that's exactly what you're doing right now, which I'm not a fan of. 😉

Well, I'm the one who wished it on another woman... and honestly, I'm still not sure if I regret it. I said it to Marijani Petir after one of her speeches during the Congress on the MPO law. It was back when someone very close to me was going through yet another failed IVF cycle, and Petirka had the nerve to start talking about God and all those other ridiculous excuses for why this disgrace they call a Law should pass. So, yeah, I wished it on her. I thought, fine, go ahead and have kids, but let it take five tries to get there...
She deserved to feel a little bit of that poison herself. 😠😢
