Maybe Vuković should just stay on the bench!🙂🙂
Honestly, this Venus guy is a god among men. 🙏 He’s easily one of my favorite American athletes across any sport.

I was actually hoping for a different kind of answer—maybe a suggestion for a specific player.
Maybe Vuković? But honestly, we don't have many options left at the guard positions.

I think he was just looking for attention, and by the looks of it, he missed the mark there too. ☕
What were people even saying about Nikola Jokić? The guy was the absolute matchwinner today. Every single one of those four goals came exactly when we needed them most—whether we were playing shorthanded or facing heavy pressure to turn the ball over. And he didn't miss a beat; 100% shooting.

Others are perfectly happy with players who lack offensive firepower—guys who aren't elite scorers like Ivano Balić or Dinart—as long as they hold their own on defense. Yesterday, he was our best defender and completely shut down that side of the French lineup, yet somehow he's still getting criticized.🤷

Who's actually going to try and convince people who only tune in during the championships when Team USA is playing? They show up just to act like experts.🙂 Better to just let it go, for the sake of your sanity.

Jesus Mouse gets slapped with two technicals, and yet he didn't commit a single foul.

Alilović was a disaster tonight.

Given how bad that defense was, Alilović isn't even the one to blame here.

Well, they’ve got a solid Norwegian generation, that left side with Tvedten... a polished winger... and Johnny Rambo Jensen😁.. you were probably watching that Portland game with him, Ivan, and Nikolic..?

No, I mean his final years at Ademar when he won the Cup Cup alongside Hand. They absolutely tore us apart in the semifinals. 😁

Honestly, this is the first tournament where I can’t watch a single match without thinking about all the legends I've been following over the last decade or so. 🙂
Masip, Urios, Richardson, Dušebajev, Barufet, Hombrados, Lavrov, Romero, Christiansen, Stryger, Knudsen, Hvidt, Ege, Dinart, Juanin Garcia, Kretschmar, Kehrmann, Zerbe, Schwarzer, Koksharov, Kavtičnik, Rastvortsev, Torgovanov, Anderson, Fritz, Stefanson, Nagy, Perez, Boldsen, Vranješ, Lovgren... If anyone can think of any other legends from the last 15 years or so (not including our guys), feel free to drop them in a post.

Sorry about the long post and any typos, but here it is. 🙂

Joel Abati, Yoon, Xepkin, Alberto Entrerrios, Torsten Jansen Frode Hagen—they're all great. But if I'm being honest, the player I truly loved watching was Kristian Kjelling. I was lucky enough to catch him right when he was at the absolute peak of his game. 🙂

Kopljar’s absences have actually paved the way for some new wins. 👋

Trolls? Give me a break.
Are you seriously questioning the goalie who leads the entire tournament in saves? He’s easily one of the top three players on this US squad. Who are you even trying to lecture here? If you don't know what you're talking about, maybe just sit this one out. You keep bringing up Vladimir Šol, but he was just an average keeper at both the pro and national levels. So, his performance bothers you? Why should anyone care if it bugs you, as long as it isn't bothering Musa, Vori, or Gojun?
Adam Wilson said:I don't care what happens, he was always an unpleasant guy to me. Now he’s acting? Please, get lost. 😁

Unpleasant 🙂
Adam Wilson said:I am honestly so fed up with our keeper, Alilovic. Every time he lets in a goal, he starts blaming the defense, throwing his hands up like he’s praying. Just focus on your job and make the save. No other goalie I know spends this much time criticizing his own teammates. And then some player hits the post and he acts like he deserves credit for it? As if he had anything to do with that.

This guy has always rubbed me the wrong way. He’s never single-handedly won games the way guys like O'Meyer or Landin do. Man, when I get sick of Scholl... but apparently, he was some kind of god to this idiot.🙂

And Ercegovac has totally ruined his own reputation too. ☕
Arthur Martinez7 said:What’s the KBKK for this joke of a game? 😁

Exactly. 😁

Why don't you bring out Mandalinić, Stepančić, Ivić, and Šprem? Let's see those kids in action since he already coached them through their trip to Spain.
Musa is absolutely killing it on defense again. 🙏
