Maybe this is our chance to actually fix the defense before the Olympics hit.☕

Speaking of Buntić, can anyone tell me how many goals he's put up this season in both the domestic league and European play?
I tried digging through their official site and the league's page, but I'm having a hard time navigating them.
I remember hearing Ćos mention he was the second top scorer for Ademar, but I can't recall if he meant last season or this one.
Thanks in advance!

If his sub is playing that poorly, what does that say about Spearman?🤣

He could have actually hurt someone 🤣 🤣

I'm guessing it was just a rubber strap. 🤣🤣

On another note, Rebellion texted me last night saying he finished reading War and Peace in one sitting. Gotta hand it to him!

Back when Buntić was playing for the Scout, if someone had told me he’d end up playing like this for the national team and becoming a star for Ademar, I would have called them crazy.
And here I was, thinking Terzić would end up in Kiel.

I can't stand watching his ball handling. It’s painful. And don't even get me started on that shot.
The goalie couldn't catch a cold if he tried.

Whether I actually tune in depends on the lineup. If Kopljar starts, I’m switching over to skiing—I'd much rather watch someone carve through a slalom than watch this guy struggle.
And if the coach keeps making these questionable calls, I really hope Buntić clears out this whole roster right after the tournament ends.
Michael Martinez86 said:Links like this are all we have left from when our national handball team was actually elite. For the foreseeable future, this is about all the handball we'll get. I mean, just like in my own house, international championships were a top-tier sporting event for every American sports fan for nearly a decade. Now? It hurts.

I see you're also a big fan of brotherhood and unity. 👍

What are we even doing? The Gauchos just dropped four on us.
Buntić put up seven goals. What a legend.🙏
Who is this kid the Gauchos are trying to bring in for Dušebajev? I haven't seen anything impressive from him, or anyone else for that matter.🤷

btw: I can only imagine how much PesAdicted is enjoying this right now.😁

Here’s what she said after the game: "Mark is a huge part of this team's success; his energy kept everyone on the bench motivated."

Chuck: "Buntic is playing the game of his life"🤣🤣

I guess I just expected too much from him. He's simply not cut out for this.

It’s about time we saw some actual defense with actual fouls, rather than just watching John and Copeland play that damn volleyball style.
I’m hoping that in the second half, Gollum puts Valdez in more of an offensive role instead of Lackovic. He needs to find his rhythm and actually get some shots off.

What do you all think about that theory that Vlado Šola called some young girl to rush over to Lund just to hook up with our Mike? 🤣

So, let me make this simple: stay away from me and my posts. We have absolutely nothing in common...

McA, you’re starting to sound a lot like Mamic.🤣

Looks like the local crowd from the Rust Belt has drifted over to this forum too.

Keep quiet. They haven't even started coming for Buntic yet; wait until then and you'll see a real performance. (I mean, he’s got more than enough ammunition to defend himself 😁)
Henry Rodriguez5 said:How many times does a lie have to be repeated before people start calling it the truth? 🙄

Who exactly called it a lie? The truth is simple: Mike’s defense has been off lately, definitely playing below his usual standard. But does every single handball discussion really need to devolve into this? Every time a goalie is mentioned, you see the same nonsense popping up—people claiming he's defending like a criminal or that a bag of cement would perform better. Is all that hyperbole really necessary?

Let's stir the pot a little.
I don't doubt that Mike will step it up in the next few games. He’s got the talent, and he's proven that more times than I can count. Honestly, shouldn't we be expecting a massive performance from him this Wednesday?
Henry Rodriguez5 said:A paper bag would probably have more integrity than Michael A. does.

Since you clearly aren't bored with yourself yet, you're making this same point for the 50th time.
Samuel Morales said:Yeah, that’s a good move... for the US national team.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or just a weird reality, but five or six Scouts are playing for the Canada U-19 national team, and now one’s even been called up to the senior squad.👋
Roger Allen3 said:Kids start playing soccer at three, join a club by seven, and they're already competing internationally by nine. Meanwhile, guys in our top handball league didn't even know what handball was until they were fifteen. In soccer, kids go through endless layers of scouting and selection by age fifteen, but these guys are just getting started.

Things are better now than when I was coming up—I was right there during that big run toward the championship years—but it still doesn't compare to soccer.

In Lubbock, a town of about 5,000 people, the Boy Scouts of America cadets used to travel all over for tournaments—Czech Republic, Poland, Canada, Germany, America, Mexico. Now, those players are in the top federation league and performing pretty well, and they're all born in '92. I'm sure other clubs with solid organization are seeing the same thing.

Aren't they playing at 8 and 10?😕
Noah Ross7 said:Has anyone happened to stumble upon a clip of Bitter's meltdown?
I missed it.😢

I can't quite put my finger on exactly where it is, but it keeps hitting the tripod leg, then the beam, and ends up knocking those ads right over there.
It’s just the prelude.🤣
It’s pretty obvious Brandt was the one who trained him.🤣🤣
