So I sent Dimy, our mod, a DM about this, but honestly, I just got ghosted like usual. It’s about that clone popping up on off again. It seems like every single time this guy gets banned, he just crawls back with more shady PDFs. If he actually had some manners or could just leave people alone when they don't want to deal with his rude behavior, maybe we could tolerate him. But the guy is straight-up disrespectful and it's seriously creeping out the rest of the community. Anyway, he's currently
Of course it's offensive, especially when someone gets banned just for mentioning machinery. If that's the case, I guess I could conclude it wasn't fair to the people being targeted, which makes it even harder to see why the moderator shouldn't be banned for such an ugly slur against a nation. Mods have to set the example. Just because lonebadger6 is working hard by linking every single post he can find doesn't mean someone who's supposed to be a role model can act like this. People have noticed this kind of offensive behavior from certain moderators before, so there you go... I'm not just shouting into the void here, even if it felt that way in my own thread.
I really have to sign off on what Westov wrote, especially that thread title. Honestly, I’ve been noticing the exact same thing for a long time now. I get that being a moderator is a tough gig, especially since they’re playing two different roles here on the forum. In my opinion, every mod needs to keep those two sides completely separate. A moderator should treat every single user exactly the same, regardless of gender, race, beliefs, or faith. As a mod, you shouldn't be pushing an ideology, even if you have every right to hold those views as a regular user. But that’s just not happening here, and what we’re doing right now—writing this all out—is basically just pissing in the wind. It’s useless. The dogs bark, but the caravan keeps moving. This kind of behavior just shows how far we still are from cleaning up the mess. We're stuck in this muddy political nonsense and pointless arguments that prevent anyone from living a normal life free from totalitarianism or any other crazy ideologies.
Jamie Rivera78 said:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asthma See, even here it says half of all childhood asthma cases aren't even diagnosable after age 10. So much for that whole "life sentence" myth. I did some digging, and what I had was asthmatic bronchitis. In your book, is asthmatic bronchitis something you actually get over, or are we stuck with it? Yeah, I used to have all kinds of allergies too. Now? Nothing.
Yeah, that's possible. From what I know about allergies, most childhood ones tend to clear up after puberty or around that age. It's all pretty connected. Anyway, glad you're in the clear.🙂 Not sure how old you are now, but I was diagnosed with Asthma a few years back, mostly after my thirties. I also dealt with some bronchial issues when I was a kid. Definitely stay cautious.
Jamie Rivera78 said:Look, you chose to get into this fight; nobody forced your hand. But acting like you've got all the answers isn't going to get you anywhere. My diagnosis wasn't some one-off guess—it was confirmed over and over. I spent more time in hospital beds than I did in my own house. I’ve spent countless nights choking on my own cough. I could go on forever about everything I did to try and kick this thing, because believe me, nothing about this happened by accident. I’m not interested in debating whether doctors are geniuses or idiots. I can agree that most of the time, asthma is a lifelong struggle, but I'm damn sure it's not a universal rule. At the end of the day, keep doubting whatever you want. My recovery matters way more to me than your skepticism.
I’d argue it was actually bronchitis. My brother dealt with the exact same stuff until he was about seven. He ended up in the hospital all the time because of it. Then, suddenly, it was gone and he never had issues again. Asthma gets misdiagnosed as other similar illnesses all the time. These kinds of respiratory issues in kids often just vanish on their own. It definitely wasn't chronic asthma.
Ivica is unfortunately right. Asthma isn't something you just cure, but if you stay on top of your therapy and hit those regular checkups, you can keep it totally under control. It gets to the point where it won't even mess with your daily routine. Honestly, relying on Ventolin is really just a sign of how much the asthma has taken hold and how serious the case actually is.
You’re totally veering off track here. If I did that, I’d be getting called out or handed a penalty immediately. Besides, you didn't actually answer my question. The point is, regarding the Living Wall—you guys either implemented it by choice or it was the only way to go.
Well, you deleted it, and honestly, pixelation can be interpreted in a bunch of different ways. Let me drop the link again so you can actually read it properly—specifically that first sentence where the mod clarifies he isn't anyone's kid. Is he just lying, or do you just not get it?
The video shows he’s definitely talking about the baby; he even went into detail about the kid. Look, people, this guy isn't acting at all how a moderator should behave.
Looking through the moderator's posts on this thread, I can't help but feel like he’s totally undermining all the hard work the other mods put in. The guy keeps being dismissive like this way too often. In my book, kids are sacred. They shouldn't be the butt of some joke, especially not by a moderator on one of the biggest forums in the country. Thanks! The question is right there in the title. Edit: This thread desperately needs an unbiased mod. Right now, it’s just turned into a toxic mess and a total waste of time.
