Thanks for the help, everyone.

I was also wondering, what would be considered an "abnormal" lab result?
Hey everyone, I have a quick question...

Does anyone happen to know how long a white referral for lab work—specifically for things like a CBC, urinalysis, and glucose—remains valid? I just picked it up from my primary care physician yesterday, but my occupational health screening isn't scheduled until March 28th. On one hand, I'm worried that if I head to the lab today or tomorrow, the occupational health specialist might reject the results because they’re "too old" by the time my appointment rolls around. On the other hand, I'm concerned that if I wait ten days to go to the lab, this specific referral might expire. Am I just overthinking this?
Manual duplex printing - how to do it? in Computer Peripherals ·
Aha, I'll give it a shot. Is that what happens when I try to print multiple pages onto a single sheet of paper, right?

What do you mean by turning it the other way?

This isn't strictly on-topic, but I was wondering if anyone could lend me a hand? I'm working with an Epson L4150 multifunction printer... it doesn't have automatic duplexing, so I occasionally have to handle two-sided printing manually.

The issue is, when I flip the paper exactly like they show in the tutorial (and I usually print two pages per sheet, so front and back equals four total pages), things go a bit sideways. I get pages 1 and 2 just fine, but when I flip the stack over the short edge to print the rest, pages 3 and 4 end up on the same side but upside down—almost like the printer decided to rotate them 180 degrees on its own. It makes the whole thing pretty much useless since I end up wasting a bunch of paper, and it’s happened a few times now. I guess I just don't quite get why this is happening or how to prevent it, especially since I feel like I'm following the video correctly.

Is there any other card out there similar to Venmo, Revolut, or PayPal—either here in the States or globally—that’s just as popular but doesn't offer the specific perks those ones have?

Is the search function still down? I’m honestly wondering why this is happening and when we can expect it to be back up and running. It feels a bit pointless to have a forum without a working search tool, especially since I can't easily track down my own threads or find specific posts I've made in the past.
My PC finally came back from the repair shop after testing, but the issue is still there: https://www.udrop.com/5jyK/WhatsApp_...t_07.39.17.mp4 What should my next move be? I'm wondering if there might be a connection issue between the monitor and the tower itself. Is there any real chance the monitor isn't actually the culprit here?
HP LaserJet Pro - Printer fuser issues in Computer Peripherals ·
Thanks 🙂, I honestly thought that would be the most budget-friendly route—just grabbing a used unit on eBay or Craigslist and then hunting down some cheap toner to call it a day.

Is there anyone available to help?

I’m starting a new thread here because I haven't been able to find any answers online, nor can I track down that specific replacement part on eBay... I recently picked up an HP LaserJet Pro small black-and-white laser printer from my dad, but it keeps throwing an ERROR Fuser Unit Failure #U1-2320. It tells me to turn it off and back on, and while doing that—sometimes it takes a second or even a third try—the printer eventually kicks in and starts printing. Does anyone know what's actually going on? If I've got this right, it's some kind of heating element that warms up and presses the toner onto the paper, isn't it? 🤔
I tried switching things up with a different DP to DP cable, but that actually made the signal drops even more frequent. My monitor just keeps cycling through "searching for DP signal" before eventually giving up and displaying "no DP signal from your device." For now, I've managed to get the laptop and monitor working okay by using a VGA to VGA cable, and it seems stable without cutting out. I've already sent the configuration over to the service center; since it started acting up right after I bought it, it’s still under warranty, so hopefully they can sort it out quickly.
Alright, here’s what I managed to capture: https://ufile.io/vu8npg59

The issue seems way more noticeable during gaming or while watching videos—basically, whenever the GPU is under a heavy load. It happens constantly then. On the other hand, if I'm just doing something simple like typing in Microsoft Word, it only pops up maybe once every 20 minutes or so.
@John Cook72/">@@John Cook72 - thanks, I think I'll give that a shot.
@swiftowl7/">@@swiftowl7 - I went ahead and installed a fresh version of Windows 10, specifically the Home edition this time. All the updates went through without any issues, but I noticed those artifacts are still popping up, just much less frequently now. I'm currently trying to grab the latest NVIDIA drivers to see if that helps. Worst-case scenario, I'll just record what's happening and send it over to the repair shop.
@fadedorca66/">@@fadedorca66 - I might actually try using a DVI/VGA adapter since my monitor doesn't have an HDMI port. Just wondering, though—what's the actual difference between using DisplayPort versus a DVI/VGA connection? Will I lose any image quality if I go that route?

EDIT: So, even after updating the graphics drivers, the problem is still there... Is there some kind of GPU stress test I could run to push it a bit and see how it handles the load?
So, I’ve got a completely fresh build here—everything was put together just today. I installed Windows 10 on it, using a Dell UltraSharp 24 monitor paired with a GTX1050Ti OC 4GB DDR5 LP graphics card. Everything is connected via a DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable. The issue is that every 15 to 20 minutes or so, the screen glitches out briefly. It’s almost like someone physically hit the monitor; the image just shatters into artifacts for a split second before snapping back to normal. On top of that, every once in a while, the screen will just go pitch black for a second, as if it's doing a sudden refresh, and then it comes right back to life. This seems to happen at pretty regular intervals. I'm wondering, what could be causing this? 🤔 Interestingly, before I even installed Windows 10, I left the computer running in the BIOS for about half a day, and I didn't run into any of these issues. That makes me suspect it might be a software thing related to Windows, though the OS isn't activated yet (I just used the official ISO image straight from Microsoft's website).

EDIT: If it's relevant, I've also been getting this error during Windows updates: (0x80070643)

As for downloading your tax info; just open up your file and there should be a "DOWNLOAD" button right there. Simple as that.

Thanks for the reply. It finally clicked—I actually went ahead and updated my information yesterday. When I logged back in today, I saw a message in my IRS inbox letting me know I could download my new PricewaterhouseCoopers card. Apparently, I need to turn in my old physical one to my local IRS office! Yay me!!

Hey everyone, I’ve been struggling with the IRS website for a little while now. I have my physical tax statement, but I need to get it updated to reflect my current status—specifically an address change. A clerk at the local IRS office mentioned that I could just request a new one through my online portal, but I’ve spent the entire afternoon searching for that option without any luck. All I can find are pages where I try to submit changes, but then I just get hit with an error message saying it isn't in the correct XML format... what should I do? It feels like I might just have to head down to the local IRS office in person to pick up a physical copy after all, right?
Dealing with a nasal voice (rhinitis) in Health ·
Hi everyone, I was hoping I could get some advice from you all. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a bit of a nasal quality to my voice. Since my job keeps me in constant contact with so many different people, it’s starting to feel like a bit of an issue. Also, whenever I record myself on my phone, my voice sounds really specific—almost strange—to my own ears. I guess I'm wondering if there's actually any way to change this?

p.s. I'm not entirely sure if it's related, but I deal with chronic sinus issues and allergic rhinitis quite often. I've been relying on medication for that for a very long time now. Any help would be much appreciated!
I filed a lawsuit against someone, lost at the county court level, appealed, and then it went up to the appellate court in New York City, where I lost again. 👍 Yesterday, I logged into my federal portal and saw these notifications:

# Date

1. 11/20/2017. Court decision/letter decision - collection of fees not court No Court
2. 11/20/2017. Court decision/letter decision - collection of fees not court No Court

What exactly am I looking at here, and how much will it cost? If my math is roughly correct, the opposing party's attorney fee is $500 (since they had to file an answer to my suit) plus the first judgment from the county court = $400-$167 plus the second judgment from the higher court = $400-$167. In total, am I looking at a debt of around $2,500-$3,000? When does that usually get sent out for collection, and how does that process work?

What happens if we have a relatively low income—say, if circumstances make it impossible to pay this off? I was reading something about the "

LEGAL AID ACT PROCLAMATION"

or specifically http://www.uscourts.gov/legal-aid-info

(2) Secondary legal aid also includes:
a) exemption from paying court costs
b) exemption from paying court fees.

For instance,
(2) Depending on the nature of the proceedings, secondary legal aid under Article 12, Section 1 of this Act may be granted in the following cases:
a) regarding substantive rights, excluding real estate title proceedings
b) regarding employment matters
c) regarding family matters, except in uncontested divorce proceedings where the spouses have no minor children together or adopted children, or children for whom they maintain parental responsibility after adulthood.

So, I guess the question is: can we appeal these costs or the debt itself? Is there any way to request that they don't collect it due to our specific financial situation? Thanks!
