Look, I’m a total newbie when it comes to computer stuff—like, definitely not a tech wizard or anything—so I’ll try to explain what's going wrong in plain English...

Up until now, everything was totally fine. I’d just burn movies from my hard drive onto DVDs without a single hiccup, you know? But lately... nothing. It just won't work. Every time I try, I get hit with an error message and that's it—game over. It’s even happening with music on regular CDs now, too. Since I don't really know my way around a motherboard, my gut feeling is that the burner itself is just dying—maybe the laser or something is shot? I’d love it if someone could tell me if I'm on the right track here, or if there's some other fix I haven't thought of. Do I seriously need to go out and buy a whole new optical drive, or is there a workaround?

PS. Just to clarify—my computer still reads all my old DVDs and CDs perfectly fine, it just refuses to write any new ones...

Honestly, turning this movie franchise into a series was a total mistake. 🙄
By the time I hit the third installment, I thought I finally had a handle on the plot—you know, who’s doing what, where they are, why everything is going crazy—but after the fourth one? Forget it. And don't even get me started on this latest sixth part, because now nothing makes any sense at all... ☕
The only redeeming quality in every single one of these movies is the death scenes; everything else is just 👎

So, I finally sat down the other night to watch the movie—and man, I had it in such crisp quality on 😁 (God bless streaming services 😁)... What can I even say? It definitely hits those familiar beats from the previous films, and I totally agree with what Jonathan Collins43 mentioned in an earlier post about how this installment seems way more focused on making death scenes look flashy and spectacular rather than actually building up any tension. In my book, that’s a huge step backward 🤷
I was honestly hyped to see this one, but I walked away feeling pretty underwhelmed... If I'm being real, this might be the weakest entry in the franchise so far 😢
