Is there any way to actually buy or pre-order Windows 7 here in the States? It seems like Microsoft isn't offering anything helpful on their site at all.
Also, how long can you actually run a Windows 7 trial on your PC if you've got the latest version installed—is it just the standard 30 days, or can you stretch it out longer?
Wait, was there actually an AutoCAD 2003? I don't know if I'd really go that far, but maybe?
And honestly, the 2007 version is kind of garbage. I can't quite put my finger on what's wrong, but man, it is painfully slow. For me, 2006 is still the absolute best so far—though I guess that really just depends on what you're trying to get done.
Wait, so besides just having some beta version of Windows Media Player 11—which, honestly, even Windows Media Player 10 was pretty decent on its own—that's really it??!?!?!?!
Brian Kim86 said:The software that comes bundled with the stick is decent enough, though I usually jump into Task Manager and set the DVB-T player priority to "above normal" or "high" just to stop the picture from stuttering—it definitely eats up some CPU cycles.
Yeah, I have to do the same thing because whenever I try scrolling with my mouse, everything starts lagging... not really sure why, honestly. You can actually make a shortcut for this: %windir%\system32\cmd.exe "C:\Program Files\DTV\DVB-T USB 2.0" /c START "runhigh" /HIGH "C:\Program Files\DTV\DVB-T USB 2.0\DVB-Tplayer.exe"
And then it should just launch on high automatically.
It works great, just don't go clicking all over the place with the remote control while it's running!🙂
Anyway, the stick is 👍 , and I'm running it through a rooftop antenna without any amplifiers (amplifiers actually tend to mess with the signal for me), and the picture looks awesome. The signal could be a bit stronger, though; mine shows: RF POWER: -69.00 RF QUALITY: 23.00
Oh, and there's no Electronic Program Guide included.
AutoCAD, sure, but you’re probably better off just heading down to the county assessor's office for that. I mean, unless you need something crazy precise for what you're planning, it might be overkill 😁
Maybe try to track down some AutoCAD 2000 + overlay 2000
Yeah, I’ve always figured Auto Color wasn't much use. It just ends up washing everything out, doesn't it? I honestly can't think of many times where I'd actually reach for it.
Personally, I find that using Auto Contrast and Levels is 👍 🙂
What kind of standard adjustments are we talking about here? If anyone's got a link, let me know—I don't really mess with that stuff much myself, but I could probably use a starting point. 🙂
Come on, Ivan, don't be like that! Go over there and cheer for your guys who aren't even in the running, and just let us enjoy celebrating this awesome second-place finish!

How on earth do you know I realized at the very last second that I needed to fix it? 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁
Oh man, I've got a spy among us 😁
this is the real deal AMERICANISZ. L. A T N A ! ! ! !
