He’s talking about "traditional values," which apparently means you have to talk about the bosses. They write that they're great. You're supposed to praise them. Be nice to them.
Don't believe a single thing you see in the media—and by that, I mean that big box they call the TV. 😁 Don't trust anything you hear from that little box where small-minded people spout nonsense either.
Trust nothing. Even they try to tell me the camera makes me look skinny.
Trust yourself. YOURSELF.
(thumps finger on the table dramatically)
😎 Anyway, let's get back to those "traditional values."
Look, I am totally lost here. This is a complete 180 from everything I was ever taught. 😁 They told me the best move regarding the bosses was to shut my mouth entirely. And if they actually cornered me for an opinion? Fine, I could praise *one* specific guy, but everyone else? Forget it. It wasn't even about being mean; it was about acting like I didn't even know they existed. 😁 Now suddenly, I'm allowed to talk about everyone, hang out with them, and heap praise on them too? I don't know, Nat, sounds like some fancy rules they make up in Europe or something. Down in California, if you acted like that, you wouldn't just lose your job, you'd lose your teeth. 😁 😁
