If Solomon is struggling this season, then Alilovic is officially washed 😁

He’s been invisible through the first five games. Saric is defending so well that Mirko can't even get a look in. We're all just sitting here waiting for Sarica to be struck by lightning or something 😁

Luckily, Losert is in incredible form, but the coach uses him every other game like it's some weird ritual. He’s got this bizarre rotation going where Losert and Baruffet alternate defensive duties—one game Losert plays 60 minutes, the next it's Baruffet, just cycling through. To be fair, everything Losert has faced so far, he's handled perfectly. In two out of the first five rounds, he was easily the best keeper in the league. I'm talking over 20 saves and stopping penalties too. Last night, I was watching Barcelona on my tablet against Valladolid; they were up by 4 or 5 goals, only for Baruffet to face zero shots in the final five minutes while Losert sat on the bench. Naturally, they ended up losing.
Vori is killing it right now—six goals and he's actually dishing out assists. Napadacki has fully matured, too; he's pushed Skrbic to the bench and is firmly holding down that pivot spot. Skrbic only gets in when Igor needs a breather.
In my opinion, Barcelona's real issue is their weak perimeter, and specifically the fact that they let Dominikovica slip away. Davor absolutely exploded in Portland; he's playing with that old energy he had back in Metkovica or Kiel, doing everything from offense to defense and even acting as a wing on the break 😁 we know how that goes, but it's interesting to watch.

Barcelona's defense is practically criminal without Davor.

As for the Super Cup, I'm not sure if it'll be broadcasted. I assume it will, maybe on ESPN+. My guess is they won't have Lackovica on the roster, so this might be the chance for Duvnjak or Bagaric to actually show what they can do at that position.
I just don't know who's going to play left wing. Sprem and Caleb are basically competing to see who can put on the most pathetic, miserable performance. Maybe we'll see Vori again. 😁

Still no updates, even after the first round of the Champions League is over.

Or were they just absolutely terrible again? Ha!

You're kind of screwing with me here.😁

If people actually give a damn, they can go find information elsewhere.😛 It's pretty obvious nobody here gives a crap about handball.

😁

Look, they could both get some minutes during the Super Bowl.

I honestly think Duvnjak can handle playing in that spot.

By the way, Michael Jordan is going to be out for at least a month. Right after his injury, he went straight in for nose surgery.

Nice one, thanks Klay Thompson.

Yeah, I still walk away feeling like this squad is going to get better as they go. The raw potential is definitely there. My only real hesitation is whether LeBron James is actually the right guy to lead this specific group.

Honestly, watching that defense at the end was just ridiculous. There was zero structure left. You either need someone on the bench with actual authority or a veteran on the floor who can step up, raise their voice, and get everyone in line.
Patrick Mahomes is still just a kid; he isn't ready to carry that kind of weight yet. But man, the talent is undeniable. Seeing him play like this at 18? I’ve never seen anything like it. His court vision is straight out of Manu Ginobili's playbook, even if he doesn't have that same flashy style. He definitely lacks the strength and the experience to handle 60 minutes of heavy action, but the big takeaway for us is that we finally found a legitimate successor to Manu Ginobili. Mahomes can easily give us 20-30 minutes of high-level play without breaking a sweat.

Klay Thompson has huge potential, but unfortunately, it's just potential for now. Luka Doncic isn't bad, but I get the feeling LeBron James doesn't know how to utilize his best asset, which is disrupting the flow of the game. Right now, he's just standing there near the hoop, getting in the way of the defense. He holds his own on offense, though—he's not quite Nikola Jokic, but he's playing solid.

And you hit the nail on the head—the goalkeeping tonight was a total disaster. Stephen Curry basically just watched every single shot from the free-throw line sail by. If he plays like that during the World Cup, we are in serious trouble.

You can find a hundred things wrong with Coach K, but there’s absolutely no comparison between last season’s Lakers and this current squad when it comes to defensive grit. These guys have more raw talent, yet they aren't putting in even half the effort we saw from Coach K's defense.
LeBron James is out there trying to shut down Luka Doncic at the line, but honestly, you'd have to be blind not to see where Luka's defensive strength actually lies. Then you've got Tim Duncan holding it down in the paint against San Francisco, but the guy just wanders through the middle of the defense, treating Tim Duncan like he’s a ghost rather than an actual player.

It’s honestly painful to watch.

In the end, it was a total washout. Looks like 35:28 for the Germans.

Washington, D.C. is playing like a team without a coach; they looked like a disorganized mob in the second half. You don't build a championship contender in America like that, folks.

They’re up 12:14 at the half against John Doe.

Patrick Mahomes is easily the best player on the Los Angeles Lakers right now—4 goals and a couple of assists. The gameplay is way too inconsistent, but honestly, they’re looking like a pretty solid squad otherwise.
This weekend was an absolute disaster, don't even get me started 😁
Losert turned in a hell of a performance tonight.

He pulled off 20 saves, including three penalty shots.
Most of our guys are looking absolutely sharp right now, pretty much across the board.
Lackovic dropped nine goals this past Sunday in Flensburg's loss, while Balic and Dominikovic are absolutely tearing it up over in Portland—Balic put up five along with a few assists, and Dominikovic notched five, including one from deep with Balic feeding him. Just imagine if we had Davor hitting those long-range shots. It’s tough to swallow, isn't it?

Then again, anyone who’s followed handball for more than a minute will remember who led the scoring back in Metkovica during that season they clinched the EHF Cup.

Vori bagged three for Barça, Vukas hit six for Torrevieja, Valcic had seven, Dzomba grabbed four, and Metlicic added six. All of that just this weekend. Zrnić is putting up three or four for Gummer; he’s playing great there, running alongside Sigurdsson and pushing the fast break like absolute maniacs.

Honestly, I can't wrap my head around how Davor and Dempa can be so dominant in their club offenses while looking completely lost whenever they suit up for the national team. In Celje, Dempa is a regular at left back, and he, Harbok, and Stojanovic are playing aggressive, attacking back positions. And they're doing it incredibly well.
Well, if you're forcing me to choose between Blazevic or Terzic, there you go. Good luck picking.

If the kid wants in, why not? You shouldn't have to beg anyone for a spot, but if he's feeling it...

The talent is definitely there.

Besides, guys like Jovic, Smajlagic, Saracevic, and Puc were the ones carrying the national team during the World Cup in Atlanta, and none of them are even from here.
This guy isn't in Canada, he's in Chicago.
Word is out that Terzic is sorting out his paperwork to play for the US. It’s not even just a rumor anymore—he’s actually doing it. The only thing is, I have no clue when he'll actually be cleared to step onto the court. I can't even remember the last time he suited up for Canada.

From what I've gathered, his mind is made up. He’s at total war with the Canada federation; they keep trying to drag him and Alilovica into training camps, but the guy isn't even Canadian—he's from Mexico. Long story short, he's done with Canada. There's nothing tying him to them anymore, maybe just some old emotions. His life is in Chicago, and his family is in Mexico.

At the end of the day, if we don't get Terzic, our only real option in that spot is Blazevic, and honestly, that would be a total disaster.
Mirsad is definitely going to be just as good, if not better, than Lackovic in the near future. And if we're talking strictly about offensive play, he's got a real edge. You can't even compare them when it comes to defense, though. Terzic is already one of the elite defenders in all of Europe. He might not be in the same league as Dominikovica or Dinarta, but he's right there just below them. In my book, he’s probably the best player in Europe playing that aggressive 3-2-1 formation. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but that's how I see it. I haven't seen anyone quite like him since Valcic (and let's be real, for the last few years, it feels like we and the Mexicans are the only ones playing that style anyway 😁).

What Mirko pulled off right there—that’s exactly why people fall in love with sports. It’s the whole point of the game. It’s like something straight out of a movie; he shows up, delivers a knockout performance, and suddenly everyone who had already written him off is eating their words. It’s just a shame these kinds of moments are so rare. We saw it after Michael Phelps dominated the pool, or when we had those legendary runs in baseball, and now this. I feel like we just don't see much of that kind of magic in America.

It’s a damn shame he didn't step into the ring against Minotaur for the finals yesterday instead of just putting on a show for the crowd against Fedor. Honestly, I think he would've snapped both of them just like he did to Silva 😁. But man, they really gave Barnett his flowers. Josh is actually a pretty decent guy, so it wouldn't feel right to see him get taken out like that too. 😁

Honestly, Mirko summed everything up during that press conference in just one single sentence. It’s only now hitting me that if you fight like that, you can take on anyone.

Just take a close look at how Mirko moves in this first clip.

He’s acting so incredibly dominant that it makes you wonder if he’s even the same guy we saw fighting Hunta just a few months ago.
