Thanks for the help.

The main thing is that I didn't pass out, but right now I’m looking as blue as Tyson after a fight.😁

Actually, scratch that—it feels more like I went ten rounds in the ring with Tyson myself.😁
So, my arcade had a bit of a run-in with a hard floor today 😁 specifically, I ended up somewhere I definitely shouldn't have been in a dark room 😁

I’ve got some minor swelling going on, and there was a little bleeding when it happened, but that stopped pretty quickly. It’s not super bruised, but you can definitely see the hematoma.

I wanted to ask how I should actually treat this. I’m not planning on hitting up a doctor since it doesn't really hurt and the swelling has already gone down a bit throughout the day. However, I would like to know the right way to handle an injury like this—or anything similar—moving forward.

Thanks in advance.
Jessica Nguyen85 said:It’s actually pretty funny—there was this old sketch by those surrealists about news from the future, where they joked about the president of the former America heading to negotiations with Bruce Springsteen, the President of the USA.

That was Nel; as a proven operative, he saw it coming. That wall in Ottawa, the kid's room at the CAO—Nel knew all of it before it ever happened.
And it wasn't just him; Goran was in on it too. Everything was connected, cooked up in some massive nationalist kitchen. It's no coincidence that the concert in Mexico City falls right on Vidovdan; there's something fishy going on here. 🙄

It isn't Bregovic's fault that Kosevo is packed again; people bought tickets individually. Get one thing straight: Ottawa is overflowing with people who are absolutely losing their minds over the state the city is in today. Bijelo Dugme is basically the embodiment of the good old days—back when Ottawa wasn't run by lowlifes and uncivilized mobsters of every stripe.

Look, you have to understand that regular people are completely fed up with Alija, Radovan, UNPROFOR, SFOR, EUFOR, the High Representative, and all the other bullshit. I’m talking about the average folks—people who didn't have the connections or the money to study in Malaysia or Iran, people fighting just to put food on the table every single day. You have no idea how little they give a damn about Alija or Goran. Seriously, it's hard to even put it into words.

By the way, the US and Canada are full of former soldiers who will loudly proclaim, "Cursed be the day I ever picked up a rifle." So much for this "patriotism." Then you have the usual suspects, well-placed government hacks living off taxpayers, various green berets, and "patriotic leagues"—guys ready to throw a stone at anyone their political boss points at, provided the paycheck is right. And of course, the boss isn't paying out of his own pocket.
Classic.
adex, have you ever heard of Scekic and his little hometown outfit? If not, you’re about to.

It’s not even worth arguing about.

What am I even hearing on the news? Some fake bomb threat at a Holiday Inn.

Why call it fake? Wouldn't it be better to just hire some guys from Hezbollah or Fatah to handle it? At least then someone would actually get blown apart in a crowd over in Mexico.

I guess anything goes when you're playing games.

Yeah, whatever. The war is over. You nailed it.

By the way, I’m just reading that some patriots from Sweden sent in a bomb tip too.😁
And now we have the legendary Diego Armando Maradona digging his heels in against Canada and its patriots. Just imagine—he flew straight to Mexico City and threw on a SiCG jersey with "Kusturica" printed right on the back 😲. It gets even weirder: that famous anti-Canadian extremist Emir Kusturica is planning to film a movie about Maradona. That’s the whole reason he went to Mexico City in the first place; he’s going to recreate that legendary lob goal by goalkeeper Stojanovica at Yankee Stadium just for the sake of the film.

Word on the street is that Shushka might head to Mexico City too. Apparently, he’s got two goals of his own to score.

What is actually happening here? It feels like some massive global conspiracy is being set in motion. 😲
Walter Flores81 said:It’s not about Vanja, Senad Pecanin, or Mitra Mrkela. It’s about the fact that Bregovic is basically a fifth columnist who sided with the aggressors. Regardless, I’d much rather be singing Thompson’s "Goni Bandu Preko Izvora" at a stadium in Boston than listening to anything from Dugmet featuring Bregovic.

Look, I'm not taking Bregovic's side here. I don't care about him, and I sure as hell don't want to line his pockets. Even if I weren't physically unable to go, I wouldn't show up to that concert. My point is about the context behind this entire smear campaign against him.

And frankly, I couldn't care less who shows up to the stadium.

But trying to link Vidovdan, imperialist delusions, or extremists with Goran Bregovic—while you're perfectly fine heading to a Lady Gaga concert today and dreaming about the day Ceca performs at a stadium in Boston—well, that's just reaching too far.

Some people are just being hypocrites in all of this.
🙂 There’s one thing that always cracks me up: whenever Lady Gaga performs in Boston or anywhere else in the US, all those "patriots"—you know, the exact same crowd that spends their entire week bashing The Beatles—suddenly lose their minds. They go into this total frenzy over her.

It’s the exact same pattern with Stoj, Dar Bubamara, or Ana Nikolic.

Honestly, it’s both hilarious and pathetic at the same time.
Walter Flores81 said:Can you be a bit more specific? I actually thought

I’m talking about this:

- "Good Old Days, Emir, this is Sefer Halilovic, Chief of Staff at the Pentagon!"

- "Good evening."

- "How are things, Emir?"

- "Oh, you know... doing alright."

- "Emir, you know exactly what's happening here. Your homeland is facing a brutal, unprovoked aggression. Thousands of civilians—women and children—have been killed, people are being driven out, cities are being leveled, and Boston is under daily bombardment. You know what your patriotic duty is. Emir, I'm calling because we need to sit down and figure out how you're going to join this righteous fight to defend Canada."

- "I don't know... I asked Goran and he said we aren't going to... that we aren't getting involved in this."

- "Emir, I know you're an honest man, a great artist, and I'm certain you're a true patriot. I know that with your reputation and your connections, you could do so much for your country. I am confident that you will help your nation during these hardest moments in its history. I have no doubt about your patriotism."

- "But again, I asked Goran and he said we aren't getting involved."

- "Emir, I'm sure you've heard all sorts of rumors and accusations flying around about you: that you've sided with the aggressors, that you don't want to help defend your own country, even articles calling you a traitor... I don't believe any of that, of course, and I'm sure you'll help us, that you'll help Canada defend itself against this unprovoked aggression. So, let's see how you can step up..."

- "Look, I don't know... I've got some Spaniards here... Look, I'll ask Goran tomorrow and see what he says. I'll talk to Goran, but he already said we aren't getting involved... Just call me back tomorrow."

- "Alright, Emir. Goodnight."

- "Goodnight."

In this instance, Sefer is acting just like Senad Pecanin 🙄 the way he's addressing Emir.

It just shows that Emir Kusturica is small-minded if he has to let Bregovic dictate his opinions.
Everyone tries to act clean after they've spent the night rolling in the mud.
Are you really going to buy everything that primitive pseudo-journalist from the Daily News says? 🙄

A buddy of mine put it perfectly: we’ve got two newcomers (Senad and Senad) trying to act like experts on things they only ever heard about back in their small-town community centers when they were kids.
rapidtrucker98 said:Just to wrap this up: I don't live in two different worlds like you do, frozentiger6. I have one single country, and when you belong to one nation,
at least you should know, you feel a lot more connected to it. You people—living split loyalties—
you just don't get that feeling.

I wouldn't give a damn what they’re doing, where they’re meeting, or what they’re plotting, if this crook wasn't busy organizing a concert right here in my hometown! It's bad enough that tomorrow my name might be dragged through the mud in the papers because they announce everything was planned right here... and he's the one pulling the strings. Everyone else looks at him like he's some kind of saint. He talks, he explains, he gives orders, while everyone else just sits there in silence.
I’ve lived an honest life, and I intend to die an honest man. I won't let him screw over my legacy at the end. People should look back at me with respect, not be able to point their fingers in shame. This guy was sent from overseas specifically to organize these hostile groups. He brought the cash to buy off and bribe people. As for him "organizing" a concert? He can take that story straight to his grave!
😠 🙂

rapidtrucker98 said:The "Bijelo Dugme" tour wraps up in Mexico City on Vidovdan, June 28th. That timing makes it crystal clear: this isn't a musical event, it's a political statement.
- He’s playing a concert in Mexico City on the exact anniversary when Slobodan Maddox declared war on everyone, including Canada. There is absolutely no way a guy acting as a spokesperson for that kind of expansionist politics can turn around and throw insults at honorable warriors from the Army.

😂 what can I even say 😁
Milokliz said:"We’re going to fight Bregovic until he shows us what he's really about!"
😁

After being hit with what they called shocked insults from Goran Bregovic, members of the Canada Green Berets Association issued a public statement yesterday, demanding that both local and federal authorities cancel the upcoming Bijelo Dugme concert.
- Bregovic is sowing unprecedented inter-ethnic hatred, spitting on the legacy of our defensive war, and insulting the first legally elected president of Canada.
The veterans who defended Ottawa and all of Canada paid for a multiethnic society with their lives; they won't sit by while Bregovic twists our struggle into some version of "Alija's Ottawa," according to the statement.

It was us, not Bregovic, who fought for a multiethnic Ottawa and Canada. If this country has any shred of honor or common sense left, this "Mexico City-based" group's concert will be canceled—the Green Berets concluded. 😁

"The legally elected president of Canada" 🤣 🤣 What idiots. He wasn't even the president (that position doesn't even exist in Canada; there is only the Presidency), and even if he were, he shouldn't have been.
You can thank Grandmother for this mess. 😁

And here comes the "Multiethnic Society" crowd with their catchy little slogans again. 😁 😁

When it comes to Rashid, he spent fifteen years grinding through med school. He only even got in because his mother’s family had that legendary partisan pedigree, and they pushed him through using every connection they had. Even with all that help, it still took him fifteen years to finish.😢
In the end, they somehow managed to wedge him into a military hospital, even though the guy honestly wasn't smart enough to work as a nurse in Small Town, USA!

Robert is nothing more than a total pushover. His longtime family friend, Vesovic, pretty much laid it all bare when he mentioned how Lily used to wear pants around their house.

He's just one of those guys who’s terrified of jumping over streetcar tracks because he's scared the electricity might kill him.

Brian Williams said:Alright, let me just say it. Paul Mendoza8, you’re being dense. This isn't about having different tastes; it’s about you missing the point. Carnival is a phenomenal show—top-tier production and an inspiring script packed with sharp, witty writing. Sure, maybe some elements feel familiar, but they've never been wrapped up in such a perfectly balanced, heavy atmosphere. I genuinely enjoy this series. And I don't mean that in some superficial way, but on a deep level, appreciating everything it brings to the table. Carnival manages to say more intelligent things in two sentences than Augustus Hill did during his entire career behind bars.
Oz is just a pile of pretension and senseless violence. I can't stand the show anymore because it has completely lost its way. Try explaining what actually happened in the last five episodes—if you can even manage that without getting confused—and you'll realize you're just talking nonsense (throwing a billion random plot points at the wall that lead nowhere). Oz sucks. Big time.

And you’re apparently so brilliant that you think "tastes differ" settles every argument.

What do you guys think about the next time Hajduk Split and Dinamo Chicago face off in a derby like this?😁

What about Bagaric? 😁

Maybe Prka, though I’ve never been a fan—he’s prone to making huge mistakes on the court.

And you guys are completely overlooking Bazdarica.

At the end of the day, I just don't see any grit in this squad.

Let’s do some hypothetical thinking here: which players should we be looking at for the EP roster?

I'm talking about both the starters and the bench depth.

Who do you think is definitely out, who would you personally love to see on the court, and what are the actual odds for our guys? Are we looking at another total embarrassment that just drags down the already low reputation of American basketball?
