Emergency: My friend is pregnant in Health ·
Peter Myers29 said:Show me where I actually said that. I just asked you when a woman is emotionally mature enough to be a mom. If you have an answer, go ahead, if not then maybe just stay quiet.

It changes big time, you just don't get it...

1. whenever she decides to become a mother.
I mean, once she’s lived a bit, tried finishing school, and has some kind of income—even if it isn't a steady career. An 18-year-old girl isn't ready to be a parent, at least not for most of them.
2. and how does it change? You already have kids and you're still supporting a bunch of losers through social services?

Peter Myers29 said:Just don't overthink things so much that you decide you want kids when it's already too late... (friendly advice)

😁 what's even too late?
what are you talking about?
he's clearly under the impression that anyone over 20 is basically an old lady😉
you know, standards have shifted, and you don't even know how old I am anyway.
give me a break, now I'm getting life advice from you😳

kids who are born because someone didn't actually want them are just dead weight.
good intentions and having a heart as big as Texas doesn't change reality.

Peter Myers29 said:he just looks at them and thinks it's all against the odds (like, what could a child even achieve in life, what kind of happiness could they find?)...

man, you're so inconsistent.
an unplanned child can be such a joy, that's why some of them end up in foster care.😢

nimbledriver81 said:I actually know quite a few couples out here with more than five kids. Both parents work a ton, grandparents step in to help out, and everything seems fine on the surface.

Having that many kids is really about having a huge extended family.
you just can't make it work without outside help if both parents have jobs.
plus, I can't even imagine having 5, 6, or 7 teenagers running around the house.😲
Peter Myers29 said:It's also hard to wrap your head around the fact that life doesn't always go according to plan. Anyone who can't accept that is just going to be miserable their whole life.

where's this coming from all of a sudden?
I wasn't ready to be a mom at 18, and honestly, not even a few years after that either.
there was just no way I was being talked into having kids.

I guess I'm thinking about it now, but it's just idle thoughts about having a Child.
I'm just trying to get my life together as best I can; and I'm not some unhappy person just because things don't go exactly how I imagined.

Well, because of this, obviously.
White powder isn't gonna help here, honestly.😁
Peter Myers29 said:Personally, I know a woman who got married and had her first kid at 18, and today she has 6 kids and two college degrees. In reality, anything is possible. Usually, the only real obstacles are the ones in your own head.

Oh, really?
Personally, I don't exactly have the bandwidth to pop out 6 kids, and I've only managed to finish one degree so far.
Not everyone is built like that, I guess. Though I highly doubt you could actually finish school, taking exams in between pregnancies—we're talking 6 pregnancies here—plus trying to make enough cash so those kids actually have food to eat.

ugh, I think I finally processed what Mr. Bennett was saying about cellular nutrition... maybe? 😵

I heard it’s best to just leave an unwanted Child with some specific Brash type🙄

Peter Myers29 said:The issue is just that the world is crawling with jerks (both guys and girls) who run away from any kind of responsibility. Anything unplanned—like a pregnancy or a Child—is seen as this huge burden, and people think any means necessary are okay to fix that "problem" (even if it means killing the Child). These types only care about living for the moment, and what happens tomorrow doesn't mean squat to them...

Yeah, sure, let's just keep talking out of our asses.
And those claims about murder and comparing this to the Holocaust are just insane.
Maybe get a grip before you start rambling. You might’ve just accused some woman you actually know of being a murderer.😉

You all need to get absolutely wrecked and left on the side of the road. Seems like you're holding up just fine.
So why act surprised when some loser takes advantage of you.

man, just beat it with your pseudo-intellectual bullshit.
Nobody's shocked about the pregnancy, they're just asking where, how, and under what circumstances an unwanted pregnancy can be handled.
😛

Carl Hernandez2 said:Abortion is just WRONG, period. It’s unnatural. Look... whether I was the father, some random guy, or whatever... there isn't even a debate about what's right or wrong here. We all know which way is up. People just love acting like they're smarter than they actually are.

Man, intelligence clearly isn't your thing.
Like, I'm telling you again, this thread isn't about debating if abortion is "unnatural" or "wrong," people are literally just looking for info.
For God's sake, just stop preaching about your version of morality.

Neither of you is making sense here—you aren't "right" and she isn't "wrong" just because you're busy dumping your wisdom on everyone.😳

Carl Hernandez2 said:Hannah Davis18:
The main thing is you know what my life was like. Though, I should probably say—right and wrong exist, and you don't need life experience to tell them apart. Just a little bit of common sense and heart. Hannah Davis18, do you have either of those?

nah, i don't have either.
there aren't really any right or wrong paths in life😳 and even less chance of actually figuring out which one you're on right now.

ps. this isn't a thread about whether a pregnancy will stick or not; maybe take your wisdom sermons somewhere else.
Emergency: My friend is pregnant in Health ·
Carl Hernandez2 said:If she goes through with an abortion, her life is just gonna be worse. Because it's wrong, it's bad, it's just... incorrect. If she picks the path without the abortion, then she'll be one of those people who chooses the right way. A path that brings all kinds of ups and downs. And in this life we live, where we can't see what tomorrow holds—you gotta choose the right path. You have to say NO to abortion.

and this is coming from a guy who's only 22.
man, you've really been out there mapping out the paths of life, haven't you?
seriously, stop preaching about what's wrong and evil. if you want to go on a sermon, maybe join a church or something.

not sure either, but I guess the Holy Spirit handles that part.

honestly, she should probably just go see a doctor first and get a professional opinion.
around $500 an abortion at a hospital costs a fortune.

American women are getting sexier in Health ·
dustypilot2 said:That 24-inch waist thing is probably a given since Angelenos are usually way shorter than, say, Floridians... though maybe not compared to everyone else.

Let's bust another stereotype while we're at it:

MIAMI RESIDENTS AREN'T THE PRETTIEST. ACTUALLY, THEY'RE OBJECTIVELY UGLIER THAN ANGELENOS. THEY'RE JUST THINNER AND THERE ARE WAY MORE OF THEM. AND YOU COULD SAY THEY SPEND A LOT MORE TIME GETTING FIXED UP.

BUT, WHEN IT COMES TO FACES? NOPE. NOT EVEN CLOSE.

I mean, I guess girls from LA aren't necessarily the thinnest either...

And people in LA don't even bother getting dolled up. Not really. 😬

And honestly, people from Miami are better looking than LA. Objectively.
No, I'm not from Miami.

Rachel Parker4 said:I'm not talking nonsense!! Regarding tennis specifically—I've tried squash and Benjamin before, but tennis is what actually gives me the most satisfaction. I mean, what do you even know about this? Have you ever actually worked on your technique with a coach? If you do, it actually looks decent and becomes useful. After that, I was basically a whole different person.

🤣

Who knows what you're even training with him.

Ego said:My doctor thinks he’s some kind of "expert"... like he knows everything... Honestly, I'm just glad he even bothered to refer me to a specialist at all. 🙄

Just find another doctor; there are plenty of others out there who will actually write you a referral without all this nonsense.🙂

Ego said:My GP finally threw in the towel and gave me a referral for a specialist.
So, I guess I'm wondering if anyone knows a decent specialist they can recommend?

A lot of people are missing the point here.

I'm going to a private clinic, hit me up if you care.

Gregory Turner71 said:I feel you, 🙂

That doc totally wasted three months of my life with Johnson & Johnson... did absolutely nothing for me, except cause a hell of a reaction once I finally quit using it...😢

Man, my doctor actually told me that stuff like Johnson & Johnson creams shouldn't even be on your skin for more than two weeks.
