Word on Savoy Street is that the guy at Supernova is out on sick leave. That's the latest, I guess.
I went to see Dr. Miller at the same clinic, and honestly, he’s a pretty decent guy. Super polite, I guess.👍

first.
I thought the movie was pretty cool, but honestly, the biochemist's face was more memorable than the plot.😁
Gael seemed a little bit bland to me, but since I wasn't expecting much, I guess I ended up pleasantly surprised.
The soundtrack is killer.

Honestly, this was my favorite part of the movie. His behavior just totally gets under your skin.

Pretty solid movie, I guess.

That woman is the real deal. I was there with my sister, and honestly? She walked out of that doctor's office in tears. Total disaster. It was a complete mess, for sure.
Dealing with Herpes? in Health ·
Shingles shows up on the body and it stays on just one side. At least, that's how it was for me when the doctor explained it. It doesn't pop up on your face.
If it's on your face, that's Herpes Simplex. That stuff can spread to your eye, too. I was warned about that ages ago because it can get pretty nasty.

Elizabeth Ruiz2 said:Look, if you get a herpes outbreak on your lip, wash your hands immediately after applying any ointment. Seriously, it spreads. I have this friend who was messing with her back a few days ago, and now she’s stuck dealing with it. 😢 And she had that same issue with her eye, too.

That stuff on your shoulders is most likely shingles. It probably has nothing to do with having herpes on your mouth.

The only thing that actually works for me is Hima pasta. But I can't even find it here in the States, and honestly, everything else is just useless.

cosmicpanther702 said:I have a question. How much does removing a mole hurt? I've got one on my face I need to get taken off, but honestly, I'm pretty freaked out about the surgery. 😢

When they cut mine out, they just gave me local anesthesia. No pain at all, I guess.🙂

So, I had mine taken out on the 5th, and the incisions all went downward. It was done by a plastic surgeon near my ribs.
The scars turned out fine—pretty clean stitching, you can barely even see them. I just went to a specialist with a standard referral, and everything went smoothly.

rustyridge said:I was actually just in NYC the other day, so I can compare. There isn't a massive difference, honestly. Some stuff you find there, you won't find here, and vice versa. It’s pretty much the same overall. I used to think NYC had way more stock available.

NYC really does have more stuff, sure, but what I mean is that the quality there is good enough for Europe, whereas things further south? Not so much. I only bother buying clothes when I'm in the city, because I rarely run into the same pieces if I'm shopping elsewhere. Prices at places like Target in the city are lower too, not to mention during those summer sales.
I'm done talking about it.🙂

rustyridge said:Honestly, the stuff you find in NYC is way better quality than what they have out in, say, Philly. Every time I hit up the Sisley or Benetton stores in the city, the selection is on another level compared to the shops in Philly. Sure, there’s some overlap, but the variety is huge and the quality just hits different.

I wouldn't say that, honestly. In NYC, the stuff is straight from Italy, but in LA, it’s mostly geared toward the East Coast markets. The importers are totally different.

I only shop at Zara. I won't even step foot in Sisley in downtown LA.

.

Apparently, it all started when the school district realized there were two identical girls on the enrollment rolls.
So the older one basically staged this whole accident where she lost a finger just to get them harassed.
I haven't actually read the book, but the bonus DVD pretty much lays it all out. 😁

Sagebrush cures everything, apparently.😎 My parents pushed that stuff on me so much growing up that I can't even stand the smell now.

Personally, I swear by that old-school trick for cleaning out ears—just wrap a cloth around a kitchen spatula, soak it in some wax, light one end on fire, and all that nasty gunk just gets pulled right out.
I just got a fine from the MTA in Miscellaneous ·
unknown said:nah, I'm in the Indianapolis area.

so, what then? 👋

nothing, really. you just get a summons from the court and don't show up because nobody's home to sign for it.

The notices come a few times and then the whole thing just goes stale.

Either you don't let the cops come hunting you down over some MTA fines, or you just tell the court you can't make it and ask them to reschedule the hearing.
I mean, half the people in a city like Chicago probably have MTA tickets sitting around. You wouldn't believe how many people actually bother showing up to court.

If you're registered in NYC, you're almost definitely gonna get a summons from the municipal court.

Maybe head down to an MTA station and check out the terminal; they actually have a lawyer on staff who handles this kind of stuff, so just go talk to him.
Just make up something, I guess. I know a few people who went through this and didn't end up paying a dime. Like, play the "broke student" card—tell them you've had your ID all year (you can show them your student ID) but somehow lost it right now, or whatever.

electricdriver78 said:So, genital herpes and the stuff you get on your lips or nose... they're both caused by the exact same thing, Herpes Simplex. Just thought I'd mention it.

So, can it actually be passed on or not? I don't know. I'm definitely not looking to go experimenting with this stuff myself.

All I know is they're both using the exact same med to fix it.

I guess they use the same meds to treat shingles too.

You can't really pass herpes from your lips down to your genitals (I have zero clue how or even why that would happen, but my doctor told me so).

Honestly, I’m feeling too lazy to deal with this, it’s not like it's the end of the world or anything. Plus, I’ve already got that cream on hand. But hey, if there’s actually a way to just get rid of it for good, then maybe I'll bother. I mean, I’ve got Afte too, so trouble doesn't always show up as just herpes.
just wanna see if this stuff actually works on me 😎

Alright, thanks for the info.
I'm seriously thinking about starting some kind of treatment cycle for herpes.
