Since I've been running tests for the last two months, it's getting annoying—every time I get my referral issued, they tell me it's only good for a month. Honestly, your best bet is probably just calling the clinic directly to ask.
As for this thing in the e-manual, I had no idea it even existed—so we should most likely follow those guidelines.
Keith Gonzalez said:The order has to be placed within three months. Also, there's the actual date they'll put the order in to consider. 😁

No, you actually have to get that order in within a month. I think it used to be three, but now they've tightened it up to just one month.
Kate Morgan66 said:I think most medical facilities besides Medicare only take State Farm—for everyone else, you basically pay out of pocket first, then file the receipt with the insurance company to get reimbursed (correct me if I'm wrong).
As for other differences, I don't know much—I just went with State Farm because I needed my supplemental coverage within 15 days, and back then, Medicare was taking 30 days to process.

That’s spot on. Medicare and CZO basically hold a monopoly, so their supplemental cards are the only ones accepted directly as payment. With any other provider, you have to cover the bill yourself, send over the receipt, and then wait for the reimbursement to hit your account. Specifically, I know with UNIQU, if the bill is under $33, you can just email it—but if it's higher than that, you have to mail the physical original, and then you're waiting about 15 days for the money to land in your checking account.

Jack Smith4 said:So, my sister told me there's a chance she might hook me up with some Valfax eventually... but she’s setting some serious terms. She said she won't go over 37.5mg, and even then, I've gotta show up with a massive bouquet of roses and basically beg her on my knees just to get a look-in. Talk about high stakes...

So, here’s the breakdown on the diagnosis: we’re looking at F21 versus F60.3, plus some non-organic non-specific psychosis... honestly, just a whole lot of clinical jargon to wrap my head around...

I don't know what to tell you... I mean, honestly? It’s just the same old story playing out on loop. You look at the news, you look at how things are moving in this country, and it feels like we're all just circling the drain while everyone pretends everything is totally fine. It’s exhausting, really. Just constant noise and zero substance... And then you see people like fadedbear92 trying to make sense of it all, or Jack Smith4 jumping in with those theories that almost make you believe them for a second. Almost. But then reality hits you like a freight train and you realize we're just spinning our wheels. It’s kind of pathetic if you think about it too long, but I guess that's just life in America now... nothing ever actually changes, does it? Just different faces, same tired script...

The head of psychiatry over at Mercy Hospital herself actually recommended my current doctor, but honestly, I can't say anything more than that...

So, I’m doing this group therapy thing now. Honestly, it’s been a total circus. I’ve already cycled through three different therapists, and let me tell you, the luck has been nonexistent... First, I was seeing this rookie who barely had two years under her belt, and then she just vanished on maternity leave. Then things got real messy—I ended up hospitalized for a month under some absolute moron of a doctor. And once I finally got out? That guy basically told me to kick rocks. He straight-up brushed me off, saying he couldn't work with me anymore and that I’d have to go find someone else all on my own. Just left me hanging like that... what a joke.

Have you had a chance to chat with our guy Diego yet?

Jack Smith4 said:Man, I’ve been through the absolute ringer with meds... just a whole suitcase full of them at one point...
Antidepressants? Yeah, forget about it. It’s a lose-lose situation. You either end up feeling totally depressed and suicidal, or you turn into this hyper-aggressive wreck that's just pissed off at the entire world... honestly, that whole category is a hard pass for me...
Antipsychotics... honestly, they all feel like the exact same pile of garbage to me...

See, if you find a shrink who actually brings some real experience to the table and genuinely gives a damn about their patient, they'll keep grinding until they find the right combination for you. Have you stuck with the same doctor this whole time, or have you been switching them up? And how are things going with psychotherapy?

Jack Smith4 said:Must be nice. Honestly, I don't even know which meds caused my mess, and I've cycled through enough pills to stock a pharmacy. At this point, I'm not even sure I have the mental energy left to keep playing trial and error, waiting months just to see if something actually works...

What's your actual diagnosis?
Generally, most medications hit pretty quickly, except for antidepressants—those usually take a couple of weeks to start working, and if you don't feel anything by then, you switch to something else. It's just a shame that not all therapists follow that protocol.

Jack Smith4 said:If I’d started dealing with this sooner, I probably would've flunked out by sophomore year of college. At least this way, I only ended up losing a single year of uni...

Based on what you just shared, it sounds like your treatment hasn't quite hit the mark yet.🤔

Exactly—looking back at everything, I remember my first panic attack happened during high school, but honestly, the anxiety and depression were already creeping in way before that...

They really helped me get back on track—they didn't dull my edges or send me floating off into some hazy cloud nine, whatever that means. I can still feel the full spectrum of emotions; I haven't turned into a zombie, nor am I constantly wired. Honestly, though, a huge part of the progress came from psychotherapy—there, I said it!😛

Thanks! I installed it, then immediately wiped it once I realized they were trying to squeeze me for cash just to "clean" my system. 😎
Andrew Peterson2 said:1- Try plugging it into a different computer—that way we can figure out if the issue is with the phone or the PC itself.

2 - Swap the cable. It’s possible some of the internal wiring is frayed; sometimes they can still draw power to charge, but they lose the ability to establish a proper data connection with the PC.

3- The drivers on the computer might be acting up. With certain phones, you actually need to download specific drivers to access your files. You should head over to the manufacturer's website and grab their USB driver—I'm just not sure which model you're using.
This can happen if MS pushes a new update for Windows, which occasionally messes with drivers or software, requiring a quick reinstall.

4- This last one isn't fun to hear, but I once had a cheap knock-off charger that fried the data chip while everything else kept working fine. My suspicion leans toward the charger—back when I had my previous phone, a similar thing happened within a month. I ended up sending the new phone in for repair under warranty and bought a high-quality charger instead.

Thanks for getting back to me, even if it was a little late! Everything actually started working perfectly on its own without me having to do anything, but hey, maybe I'll need this advice down the road. Thanks again.👍
Everything was working perfectly yesterday—I was moving photos and music back and forth between my phone and my laptop without any issues—but now, when I plug the cable in, the phone just charges. My laptop doesn't even acknowledge that anything is connected. I've already tried restarting my laptop several times, then did a full shutdown and reboot, and I did the exact same thing with my phone. I even tried plugging it into different USB ports, but it’s the same story: the phone draws power from the laptop, but I don't get that option to transfer files. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!🙏

A free version of Movie Maker? I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

So, I'm putting together a slideshow video for a project, but I'm completely stuck on how to actually change the order of the photos.

Can anyone suggest a simple little app that's perfect for beginners? Thanks a million!
If I click on "other options," it just throws a whole bunch of stuff at me

wiredcanyon94 said:Yeah, total sharks. But honestly, why bother with a converter in the first place when you can just rename the file extension and call it a day?

I gave it a shot, but I can't figure out how to actually change the extension.🤦

Every time I hit "change," it just keeps offering me the same thing—I'm running Microsoft Office 2016, so maybe that's where the issue lies?
ironcyclist58 said:Try converting it to .pptx using this.

Score! I did—they actually asked for my email address. I wonder how much they'll limit me before they start asking for cash?

wiredcanyon94 said:It looks like those Catholic theologians did a pretty thorough job scrambling the file so you can't edit it. 😉

Unless, of course, you just swap the extension over to .ppt.

Honestly, there’s no magic trick required—just change the extension to .ppt and everything should work fine.
I probably could have found another workaround, but I didn't bother trying.

They're absolute devils, aren't they?🤣

There’s a beautiful presentation on this page, but it won't let me edit anything at all.

I'm wondering—is this happening because I'm using Microsoft Office 2016, or is there some other kind of security lock on it?

Since I have that exact version on my computer, I'm completely stuck.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I might be able to change this? Thanks so much!

Not a single soul?😲

I honestly think we need to talk about how much people tend to inflame these situations—it’s like everyone is just itching to start a fire instead of actually solving the problem. I remember back when I was working at a firm in Chicago, one tiny misunderstanding would turn into a full-blown office war overnight because nobody knew how to just cool things down. It’s exhausting, really. kaže:
Downloading songs that way is clearly illegal.

That’s exactly why those YouTube employees tweak that code every once in a while—just to keep things moving.
Honestly, the people running those sites will find a way to crack it eventually—it’s just a matter of time.

What can you even say? In a day or two, things should be back to business as usual.

Knock on wood—I really hope you're right!🎉
