Grace Sanders24 said:I just went to check on this myself. You're totally right. As of today, they started rolling this out in Varaždin County and Des Moines. From now on, you’ll have to shove your CDs into a tiny box and ship them as actual packages. Apparently, they're "restructuring" their business model. 🍿

Honestly, bravo to them for running a business this way. What kind of logic is it to start in just a few specific counties first? They could have at least given us a grace period where you could still send stuff as standard mail until the rollout hit everywhere else. We aren't talking about shipping bricks here, for God's sake—it's a freaking CD!🙄
Grace Sanders24 said:So, what’s up? Were you actually asking if they could rush that CD delivery to you?🤔

Give me a break. I tried to just send it via standard certified mail, but apparently, that was off the table. I even asked if I could just go with regular postage, but she was dead set on it—she told me point-blank that from now on, they'll only accept documents sent as letters. It’s ridiculous. I’ve already heard from a few other girls over in Varaždin who ran into the exact same headache; they couldn't even get products sent through certified mail, even when using those bubble mailers.
Varaždin County.
Word is they’re seeing the exact same thing over in Des Moines...
Has anyone else run into this ridiculous situation at the post office where they won't let you send anything except flat documents? Like, no certified mail, no priority, nothing unless it’s just paper.
I was trying to mail out a CD today, but they shot me down immediately. They told me the only way to do it was to ship it as a full-on package.🙄

Jesus, these constant changes are driving me absolutely insane... didn't they just overhaul everything a few weeks ago?🙂🙂😠

Does anyone happen to know what the penalty fee is for paying off a loan early? I took one out back in December 2009🙄☕)

On the bill I was supposed to pay, it lists someone else's name (not mine), but when I actually went to process the payment, I entered my own name instead....Is that going to be an issue?

Look, you paid it from your own account, so your info and account number are automatically generated as the "payer"—you wouldn't have even had the option to put someone else's name in there anyway... 🤷
As far as I can tell, all that really matters is that the bill gets settled and you put the correct confirmation number in the memo field.

I can't believe I'm seeing this again. Honestly, it's just one thing after another with people who don't know what they're talking about.
I don't know what to tell you, but I'm just sitting here watching everything go south. It feels like we're all just spinning our wheels while the world moves on without us. [User Name] says:
Does anyone here have a mortgage through Hypo?
Yeah... ☕

I don't know what to tell you, but I think people are completely missing the point here. It feels like everyone is just shouting into the void without actually looking at the facts!
Robert Hernandez11 said:After sitting through two years of a fixed rate on my mortgage, I just found out my new interest rate is jumping to 7.65%. ☕
Honestly, I’m pretty sure that’s the highest rate any bank in the country is charging for home loans right now.
Am I totally off base here?
🤷

On top of that, the exchange rate is sitting at 7.5... when I first started paying this thing off, it was only 7.25.

Just great. 🙂

Plus, there’s the whole headache of that credit and home insurance I was forced to take out through Bank of America.🙄 Booking extra stuff is always going to cost you more in the end. $467 Annual.
It won’t be much longer before it finally makes sense to pull the trigger. I'm looking into getting a personal loan. I’m ready to shut this whole thing down. 🤣 I'm just sitting here waiting around for JPMorgan Chase to actually come through with a decent fixed rate, maybe something like 6.99%, blah blah blah...😁😁😁 As if being a loyal customer actually means anything to these people... yeah, right. You can laugh all you want, but honestly, I don't think even joining the European Union is going to do a damn thing to stop these cursed interest rates from staying sky-high.

By the way, over in Austria, interest rates on personal cash loans are sitting right around 4%.

Goddammit...🙂 That's it. Everything.

DJ, wait, then how much am I actually paying for my insurance policy?
It’s just a basic risk policy—I took out a $35,000 mortgage, and my annual premium (including this basic fire coverage, which isn't much) comes out to about $400😕😲
. I'm with State Farm.
WTF???
Funky Fish used to have stuff just like this, if he hasn't already... 🤷

restlessfox9 said:...I tried logging in over and over again.

I’m dealing with the exact same headache. Everything was working fine until a few days ago, but lately, it’s been an absolute disaster... I go through the whole login process, and it'll flash a nice message saying, "Thanks for signing in, Robert Hernandez11," and then—nothing. It just kicks me right back to the login screen, and I have to start all over again. It keeps looping like this over and over.🤷

I can't believe I'm seeing this again. Seriously? Robert Hernandez11 says:
I know they’ll let you keep using the old account for a little while after the switch, but eventually, they just cut it off completely.

The account number is exactly the same as the one in the template. 🤷

rustypanther39 said:I use the "01" model for both my AT&T mobile and internet bills, and it works perfectly every time. I just double-checked all my other templates, and they’re all set to "01"—except for my Goldman Sachs account, which uses "63." Have you thought about checking in with your bank?

Mine says 01 on everything too. The only one giving me grief is from my insurance provider—it’s an annual payment so I didn't even have a statement handy—so I just manually entered 00, and it went through... hopefully the payment actually clears...😕
At the end of the day, the account number and the phone number are correct, so I have no clue what this "model" thing is even supposed to mean...🤷

Jeffrey Walker3 said:Hey, I think AT&T was swapping out account numbers on some bills a few months back... Did you happen to check that? Like, maybe they switched banks

I haven't a clue. But last month everything went through just fine.🤷

On another note, I'm trying to pay this other bill online, and it keeps telling me the model doesn't match the authorization code... the model is set to 01, but if I type in 00, it actually works...

🤷😕

jadeorca11 said:That module error usually pops up when there’s a mismatch with the account number, but honestly, I don't want to give you the wrong advice and waste your time! If you could just drop the exact error message you're seeing right here, I can dig into this and figure out exactly what's going on for you.

Look, I already paid the bill at Walmart, so whatever, but I have no clue what went wrong since I’ve been doing this exact same thing for a year now. I just use my saved template, swap out those few digits in the "authorization number," update the total, and call it a day.

Is anyone else running into issues paying their AT&T bill through e-Zelle?
I have my usual template ready to go, I open it up, let it pull all the data, swap out those few digits in the "authorization number"—and then boom, it hits me with some error message about a "MODULE." Not a model, mind you, it literally says module. I can't get my internet or my phone bill settled at all. And just to be clear, I’ve been using this exact same method for over a year without a single hiccup!!!

I paid all my other bills just fine today. It’s just these specific ones that won't go through.🤷
JP Morgan Chase - overdraft limits and fees in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I’ve got an approved overdraft limit of $3500 sitting there. Honestly, I don't touch it and I don't need it. Is there any way I can just ask them to lower that limit to $1667... look, I get it, I'm not obligated to use the credit, it could even be $16667, but I just want my account to show that my limit is "only" $1667
...

JPMorgan Chase Go!Card help? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I’ve only used my credit card twice, and even though I split the payment into three installments, those interest charges still caught me completely off guard. It was a massive wake-up call—honestly, I’m much better off just using my overdraft if I’m ever in a pinch even then! I actually received a new card in the mail, but I haven't even bothered to activate it yet. Does anyone know if I can just walk into my JPMorgan Chase branch, hand the card back, and demand they close the account entirely? 🤷 The balance is sitting at a flat 0.00... I'm assuming there won't be some ridiculous fee just for closing it, right? 🤔 Or am I totally wrong here? 😕

Just a quick question here, not entirely sure which sub this belongs in...
Regarding vehicle registration tax... can I just pay that through online banking? And if I do, what should I put in the address field... 🤷 ... would something like "annual vehicle tax" work for the description, and then just list the county name under the address? 🤷
