I’m terrified of death. Not even my own death, really—it's more about the idea of someone close to me passing away. As for myself? Honestly, I’d take an early exit over dealing with actual pain and suffering any day (plus, I have this theory that we just reincarnate anyway, so whatever...). But I haven't actually been tested by a situation like that yet, so maybe I'd change my mind if someone were actually trying to kill me...
One leg is shorter than the other in Health ·
Go see a specialist, seriously. Your spine will pay the price if you don't.
My leg actually feels shorter—well, it’s not actually shorter, but because my spine is tilted to the side, my left hip is hitched up. That means all my weight shifts onto my right leg, and I can already feel it hitting the outer edge of my foot. Honestly, I didn't even realize what was happening until my chiropractor gave me a proper exam a few years back. Some of these general practitioners are absolutely useless! I've lost count of how many times I went in, got X-rays of my spine, complained about the stiffness, and they did absolutely nothing. It's pathetic.
Now I just wear a heel lift in my shoe. There's no fixing it at this point since I'm way past that age.
But you? You still have time. Put in the work. Go find a second opinion, a third, a fourth if you have to. It's worth the effort.

Immigrant spray. You need a prescription for it.
Placenta issues/concerns in Health ·
So, I finished medical school a long time ago. Back when I was doing my rotations over in Gynecology, I saw they actually had these freezers specifically for placentas. Once the baby is born, the doctor examines the placenta, and then the nurse just tosses it right into a freezer with all the others—that’s how they did it, anyway, though who knows if it's still the standard practice. Honestly? It looked like a massive pile of frozen cow stomachs. Gross. My guess is it all goes toward manufacturing medications—things like interferons, gamma globulins, and that sort of stuff. Seems like a waste to just throw it out if there's money to be made, right? My main concern is how much they actually test that stuff for diseases like Hepatitis or AIDS...
Headache help! in Health ·
Look, if magnesium, coffee, or Tylenol aren't doing the trick—and let's be real, pills can absolutely wreck your stomach—you could try analgesic suppositories, like Voltaren or Kevat. Just don't go there if you're dealing with hemorrhoids or any other anal issues.
If your headache isn't too intense, essential oils might help. Lavender is a good bet, though there are others (I'm not exactly an expert here). If you don't mind the smell, lavender is one of those few oils you can actually apply straight to your skin without diluting it first.
Some people swear by boosting circulation. You know, the whole thing where you dunk your hands and feet in warm water then cold water—though personally, I just love splashing them with cold water. It works for me, but everyone's different.
You could also try herbal teas...
And apparently, acupuncture is supposed to be effective...
(Sex helps sometimes, assuming the headache isn't totally debilitating. No, I'm kidding... well, maybe not, it actually really helps me.)

I’ve been seeing Dr. Vjekoslav Grgić on and off for about three and a half years now.
His office is located over on Canada Street—just head down Broadway toward Vinogradska Street, pass that intersection, and go slightly up the hill. His number is 3773258.

I don't know anyone else who sees him, but personally, he's great. He actually helped me.
Look, obviously he isn't going to magically straighten out my spine or make my pain disappear completely because my body is a wreck—he's realistic about that and doesn't make those empty promises. But he can loosen things up, get some of my mobility back, and stop things from getting even worse. I felt significantly better after just the first session. Now, I just go about twice a year just to make sure I don't completely seize up.
