I’m really hoping someone in this thread actually has a clue, because the consultants over at the IRS have been absolutely useless—honestly, they haven't given me a straight answer to save their lives. We’re looking at some kind of "non-standard" three-way deal here:
The goods are coming out of Germany, passing through the US, and heading straight into Canada. The German supplier issues us an invoice for the goods, and then we issue our own invoice to the client in Canada. Crucially, the shipment doesn't even get unloaded while it's sitting in the US; it just moves right through. So, who is responsible for what? I’ve got two different scenarios playing out: in one instance, the German company handled the export customs clearance (since the goods are leaving the European Union), but in the other, they’re telling me *we* have to handle it.
When exactly should we be calculating VAT on the acquisition? Or rather, when shouldn't we? And does this count as an export for us in either of these cases? What exactly is being done wrong here?
This used to be a straightforward re-export back in the day. But under the current rules... what even is it now? 🤷
Come on, people—the movie is a total joke. That's why I find it so funny that some folks are actually getting worked up about it being "unrealistic." 😂
Well, nothing much else remains 😁—fingers crossed—though one is currently in the works 🙂. I’m hoping it turns out well, which is actually quite possible since Margaret Weiss is working on the script . Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight (2007) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0825245/
Secondly, I’m constantly on the hunt for a solid fantasy flick, so there's still a massive drought in that genre for me.🙂 I didn't really care for it—honestly, I wasn't a fan of Narnia or Harry Potter or anything in that vein either...
Now, I have this sudden, irresistible urge to watch Willow three times in a row right after this.
I find it absolutely hilarious how if a girl wins, there always has to be some wild excuse—like she’s some kind of superhero or the guy just doesn't know the basics of the craft. It's just how it goes 🤣
I don't know... I wasn't exactly thrilled. My biggest gripe—and this is becoming a bit of a pattern for me—is how they handled Harry's characterization. He felt completely one-dimensional; it seemed like his only real emotions were tied to that girl and then, you know, that moment at the end when... well, you know. It made the whole thing a bit tedious to watch.
The visual effects were great, and honestly, the comedic bits were the highlight (I really thought I'd love the whole thing, but...), though Ron came across as a complete idiot—I mean, seriously, who could actually deal with him like that? Snipe 👍 (though I suppose that's expected given the actor is 😎 )
So yeah—it's visually stunning, but there just isn't much substance there...
Just a disclaimer—I haven't read any of the books and they aren't really my thing, so this opinion is strictly based on the movie alone.
Jose Miller3 : I honestly can't recall who Brad was... it doesn't really matter—I'll manage just fine without knowing that specific bit of trivia.
In that episode, the fanatic—you know, the guy obsessed with the goalie's girlfriend?—is actually played by the same actor who played Brad in the original The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I mean, there are endless descriptions and websites all over the internet—not sure what else you expect people to tell you here. Besides, trying to summarize something like The Rocky Horror Picture Show is just a lost cause. True, it’s definitely an acquired taste, but the popularity usually speaks for itself...
Honestly, just watch it and be done with it.
Personally, I think I'll have to print out a different script to follow along next time. And hey, throwing a Rocky party might actually be a fun idea.
off t: Brad Pitt killed him! :ggls: - that fanatic
When I realized yesterday they were playing the soundtrack from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, I was dying laughing—and then finding out the whole episode revolved around it? It was honestly so good 😬
I might actually be pleasantly surprised if some American network finally airs the movie... someday
My mom didn't get to finish the movie—she's actually been hunting for it lately—but it’s nowhere to be found in the local video rental spots... so, yeah. If anyone happens to stumble upon a copy, I'd love to grab it.

😁 : Hey there! : I'm just really glad everything worked out and that the crew enjoyed it. I was actually one of the girls helping out with the Kempo demo... things should be even smoother next year.
As for that kid—the one causing trouble with the roof tiles—he's actually our Sensei's son.
