exactly! like, they show the World Cup final and introduce all these teams, then just leave us hanging without actually seeing them play. still, the movie is a total blast though!!!

Honestly, they should have just let Fiennesen use his actual face; he would have been way more convincing.
And don't even get me started on Dumbledore... he just keeps getting more and more ridiculous in how he acts and looks. 🙂

OT: Personally, I thought the movie was absolutely fantastic, though I can't help but feel a sense of regret regarding how they handled the broomstick sequences—they were far too brief, almost non-existent, really. Furthermore, that initial dragon task felt unnecessarily drawn out.
The special effects were equally impressive, though I must admit, they gave me quite a laugh.👍

I don't know... I wasn't exactly thrilled. My biggest gripe—and this is becoming a bit of a pattern for me—is how they handled Harry's characterization. He felt completely one-dimensional; it seemed like his only real emotions were tied to that girl and then, you know, that moment at the end when... well, you know. It made the whole thing a bit tedious to watch.

The visual effects were great, and honestly, the comedic bits were the highlight (I really thought I'd love the whole thing, but...), though Ron came across as a complete idiot—I mean, seriously, who could actually deal with him like that? Snipe 👍 (though I suppose that's expected given the actor is 😎 )

So yeah—it's visually stunning, but there just isn't much substance there...

Just a disclaimer—I haven't read any of the books and they aren't really my thing, so this opinion is strictly based on the movie alone.

Before the first movie in this whole massive franchise even hit theaters, I actually prayed... like, "Lord, please spare me from ever having to watch a single Harry Potter film!" And honestly? He listened. I haven't been forced to sit through even one minute of them, and I am just so incredibly grateful for that. I really don't think I could have handled it...

I actually thought the movie was pretty good. It’s definitely too short, though. They probably should have stuck to the original plan of splitting it into two films released a couple of months apart, but what can you do?

There’s more humor than the last one, and the exterior shots of Hogwarts look great and all.

My only real gripe is how Dumbledore deviates from the book. In the novels, he’s clearly composed and knows everything—he's basically an omniscient, incredibly cool figure.

It’s a similar story with Hermione; the director definitely went overboard with her constant saving of the day, especially considering Harry and the gang usually only escape because of her.

But then again, when you realize how much plot they crammed into just two hours, there wasn't much other way to do it.🙂

Overall, I enjoyed it. I’ve already seen it twice in theaters (those jerks charged me $18 for the ticket, and I sat through about 90 minutes of commercials—basically, American efficiency at its finest)😠

Honestly, I actually thought the movie was pretty charming. I ended up sitting right in the front row because those were basically the only tickets left—not my favorite way to watch a flick, but hey—but I gotta say, it wasn't half bad. My only issue was that I spent half the time glancing left and right because the screen at the AMC theater was just massive. Like, seriously huge. The special effects were killer, and the sound design? Man, it’ll blow your mind. There were moments where you could actually feel the floor vibrating under your feet. That bit at the start with the broomstick color thing was super cool too, though I wish it hadn't been so short.

Anyway, if I had to rate it, I'd give the movie a solid 4.4/5 👍

Ugh, Dumbledore is such a joke. It’s like they took a beard from a preschooler and stuck it on him, so now we just have this kid wandering around looking pathetic... 🙄

But Mad-Eye? He's a total genius. 🤣

😁 honestly, Dumbledore was such a legend in those first two books. ever since they started messing with his character, he’s just become this weak, pathetic version of himself 😢 i'm really not feeling it at all...

but if you want to talk about actual genius, the best character has gotta be Snape 🙏
