Referees already started handing out cards in this Australia-Mexico game. They sent Stojanovic to the box for diving after a home player grabbed his jersey, then immediately slapped someone else with a penalty for basically nothing—just a tiny bit of contact. Now the visitors are sitting at -3, almost tied up if it wasn't for Peric.

Lol, and now the home team is down by 2...

USA is through from Group A, Denmark is through from Group B.

If Russia fails to pick up even a single point against the USA, Ukraine needs to beat Norway by more than 4 goals to knock them out. If they win by exactly 4, the points and goal difference would be tied, and we’d look at total goals scored. In that scenario, Norway is out unless they score more than 31 goals—if they do, then Russia is the one heading home. Ukraine would be safe, but if Norway hits that 31 mark (say, a 31-35 loss), everything ties up with Russia and it comes down to overall goal difference. With that 4-goal gap, Norway ends up at -4, which means Russia can't lose to us by more than 4 goals either (they're sitting at +0 right now).
If Russia manages to avoid a loss against the USA, any win for Ukraine does the trick.

Iceland is safe as long as they don't lose to Denmark. If they do drop a game, they're out if Mexico and Austria draw with a high score like 37-37. That would leave everyone with 1 point and a bunch of draws. Austria would be safe there, but Mexico is out if it's a 36-36 draw or lower. If it lands exactly on 37-37, it’s a toss-up between Iceland and Mexico based on goal difference—and Mexico would edge out Iceland if Iceland loses to Denmark by more than 5 goals. A 5-goal loss probably sends Iceland packing.
Austria moves on with a point for sure; a loss and they're out.
Mexico is out if they lose. They move on if they win. If they get a draw, they're out if Iceland doesn't lose to Denmark. But if Iceland *does* lose, Mexico moves on with a draw if they score more than 37 goals, or exactly 37 if Iceland loses by more than 5.
Fuck.
That offensive foul? Honestly, felt like one, but Pajovic gave Poljak just enough of a nudge toward Vugrinec to make it messy. If he hadn't touched him, it would've been a clear turnover violation.

Leading 29-25 against the Poles in the 53rd minute.
Up 32-28 against the Germans in the 52nd.

The Canadians.

Btw, Szmal was playing out of his mind.

3 Spain
3 France

3 Poland
2 Canada
1 Germany
0 Czech Republic
Even ten Nok phones wouldn't be enough to help the Canadians.
The keepers were absolutely dialed in during the second half of the Germany-Sweden match. For a minute there, Andersson was basically saving everything thrown at him, but man, Heinevetter was playing out of his mind too.

That Spain-France match only has that one crappy stream available... if anyone tracks down a better one, please drop it here. This one might be a bit smoother: http://www.stream2watch.com/watch/56...in-live-stream
Unknown = 6/21 👋

That Unknown guy in Washington, D.C. ☕
Down 28-24, then they just absolutely demolished them in a 6-0 run right at the finish line.
Goaaaaal for Iceland! La-la-la-la-la! Goooooal for Iceland! La-la-la-la-la-la-la...🤣
🤣

And man, that Iceland goalie looks like some kid, while their winger from Austria was just casually ripping those wicked low, spinning shots from impossible angles right at the start.

Absolute madness of a game, though. It was tied 10-10 by the 10th minute, and by the 40th, it was basically 40-40.😬

Unbelievable game, Iceland vs. Austria. At the 37:30 mark, the home team managed to claw it back to 37-36. Then, with just 20 seconds left on the clock, there’s some massive blunder—either a bad call on an Iceland lead or an offensive foul. And what do these guys do? One of the home players literally passes the ball from right in front of his own goal straight to a runner (WTF!!!) just to tie it up at 37-37 in the Aegean 🤣
It’s going to be a simulcast on DSF, and PBS is carrying it too, along with these guys: http://liveonsat.com/LJ_Sport_other_handball.php

So, looking at the second halves today... Germans put up 23 goals while the French only managed 5. Doesn't make any sense, really, but whatever...
Halftime: Germany vs. France 23-5😬
24 saves, 55 percent...
The stream just cut out like 20 seconds before the end, it was basically 😁
