Can anyone recommend a solid endocrinologist in Chicago or California? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a top-tier ENT specialist in Washington, D.C.? Thanks!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid physiatrist? I’m looking for someone who won't just dismiss me with a handful of basic exercises because of my age. I need a doctor who actually orders the necessary tests and diagnostic imaging to get to the bottom of things. Thanks!

Makes perfect sense, doesn't it?

Pure logic.
They sent over some info regarding the COD fee, which caused a slight delay due to the holiday. It might still show up for you... if not, the package will definitely be returned to sender. 🙂
Just bring the book in an open bubble mailer and tell them it’s media mail; it ends up being much cheaper that way.
Did the lady at the post office convince her to just send it via standard shipping? I have my doubts about that 🙂 Unfortunately, there’s zero chance a standard package will actually turn up. That’s why I only accept standard shipments—I trust my local mail carrier and myself to get it there—but I never send them. Why? Because I’m a skeptic. 😁

Vitas, thanks! I stumbled upon that same page myself, but I’m still looking for someone to actually confirm things for me. I have one simple question 🙂 regarding rental income. I'll probably just fire off an email to the IRS and hope they eventually get back to me... unless, of course, there's someone here who actually knows the answer. 🙂 Thanks again..

What are all the actual fees an entrepreneur has to shell out? Where can I find a full list—things like rent, membership dues, etc.—excluding taxes?

Edit: A follow-up regarding the quarterly estimated tax system.
If I’m understanding this correctly, I just pay them a set amount every three months. As long as my total revenue stays under $85,000, am I covered? Does that mean there’s nothing else to settle at the end of the year?

When registering with the IRS, there's a field for "expected annual income." For those on the simplified tax method, what figure is actually recommended to put down?

Thanks!

John Mendoza12 said:Hi there. I started this thread because I suspected I might have HPV. I went to my primary care physician, who checked me out and gave me a referral to a dermatologist. However, she advised against going to a major hospital like Mayo Clinic because the wait times are astronomical, suggesting I try local community clinics instead. So, I tried that, but they wouldn't see me—everyone just keeps pointing me back toward the big hospitals.

Does anyone know what the actual process is for booking an appointment with a dermatologist?
OR
Someone mentioned I could try the student health center to get some testing done. If anyone has any useful advice on that, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks.

You go to a clinic in Brooklyn or somewhere similar—I know that much for certain, and likely others too—walk into the office, hand over your referral, and wait for your exam. Why on earth wouldn't they take you in?

http://lauc.net/apolonija/ The doctor is excellent, but I suspect her rates are a bit steep. Double fillings go for $133, while triple ones hit 500... and so on. 🙂

I’m joining the hunt for a dentist who accepts Medicare—ideally located on the West Side of NYC or somewhere downtown. It’s crucial that you’ve actually been to this person multiple times and were genuinely satisfied, and please, I need someone with more than 100 posts under their belt. 😁 It would be a major plus if the office is equipped with modern technology. Thanks in advance for the leads!
Does anyone happen to have the contact number for package redelivery on hand, Branimirov? Thanks.

Thanks for clearing that up. Does that standard deduction still apply if you were paying yourself a monthly salary as a small business owner? Once you register for sales tax, you start dealing with income tax, but does the calculation method remain identical?
I have incredibly frequent cycles, so this high iron level really caught me off guard.🙂 Thanks for everything!

Can someone give me a straight answer here? If a small business owner operating outside the sales tax system pulls in roughly $100,000 $0.00 annually but has expenses totaling about $80,000, what’s the actual damage regarding taxes throughout the year and at year-end? More importantly, how much cash is actually left over to transfer to a personal account? Thanks!
Thanks for the reply. My Leukocytes are at 7 (range 3.4-9.7), AST is 17 (8-30), ALT is 10 (10-36), and GGT is 14 (9-35)... essentially everything is within the normal range, even if that ALT is hovering right on the edge. I had these tests done because of some issues with my menstrual cycle and to keep an eye on my LDL levels, which I haven't managed to calculate yet 🙂
How do I calculate my LDL?Usually, it's listed right on the lab results, but now all I have are these numbers: HDL 2.82
Cholesterol 10.3
Triglycerides 1.48

I asked about this earlier, but then I realized there was already a thread for it;
my iron levels are elevated.
Iron 35.1 (8-30)
TIBC 78.4 (49-75)
UIBC is fine at 43.3 (26-59)

On top of that, my segmented neutrophils (from the CBC?) are low: 41.9 (44-72)

Does anyone have any idea why my iron is high?
I was under the impression I was anemic...

I don't eat meat, I don't smoke, and I don't drink. I'm a 30-year-old woman, 58kg/168cm.
Thanks!
Anything is possible, except for a wood-burning stove 😁
darkhawk70 said:I was just thinking—since the sender is footing the bill for $1.75 home delivery, what happens if I’m not actually there? Do they just leave a slip and expect me to trek down to the local post office, or will they try again later today or tomorrow?
It'll likely be the former. Which is exactly why this model works better for them. They used to go door-to-door regardless, and if you weren't home, they'd just leave a note and walk away with your $1.75. Now, they only bother showing up at your door if the service is already prepaid. If you aren't there? You get a slip. Am I right?

You can always give them a call around 7:00 AM the next morning to request a redelivery. The fee remains $1.75. Just make sure you have the tracking number ready. And fair warning: they aren't exactly known for their pleasant personalities 🙂
