Words of Wisdom in Philosophy ·
hiddenviper9:
It takes real wisdom to write something at a place like Yale that makes everyone who reads it stop and say, "This is the real deal, I agree with every single word." 😁

geza: Science will never truly grasp what was inside the Big Bang, and theology will never be able to prove God exists.

hiddenviper9:
Geza, I have to say, I find myself agreeing with a lot of what you’ve posted lately... but I can't quite get behind that last point.

- Sure, science alone might never unlock the secrets of the Big Bang—but when you pair it with philosophy? It absolutely can!

- And as for theology? They can't prove God because the version of God they preach simply doesn't exist.
But the creator—as a fundamental Value worthy of bringing something into being—is real. One day, that Value will be revealed, and maybe even the theologians will finally accept it.

One more thing.
When it comes to fractals and holographic perception, those values that drive the creation of chaos aren't found within the material universe; they existed in the time before the material universe was even there.

wearyowl29: Nature actually has this built-in ability to replenish itself, specifically regarding its /utility value/.

hiddenviper9:
Exactly—you hit the nail on the head by specifying "...utility value."

wearyowl29: Its true worth is indestructible because life itself works that way, and we all know why.

hiddenviper9:
I hate to say it, but we still barely understand the mechanics—and even less about the "why"!

Still, your point (that nature's true value is indestructible) is profoundly True.
Do you know why?
It’s because Nature (and the Creator) doesn't just manufacture new matter or energy out of thin air; they simply transform ONE thing INTO ANOTHER.
And that is precisely why nature's core value can never be destroyed.

Keep this in mind!
When building any cosmic system, Nature and the Creator work with a FIXED amount of inorganic, organic, and hybrid matter. These elements combine to create specific material values that eventually get names.
That's how you get concrete material entities like humans or trees...
Both humans and trees contain certain EQUIVALENT genes that are absolutely essential for their existence.
Let's call these genes AX.
If we take one human, they must possess 144,000 AX genes.
Now, if a single tree requires 1 AX gene...
Then that specific AX gene would need to be present in 144,000 different trees.
Isn't it obvious that if the population in a Closed system (like Earth) jumps from one human to two, there simply CANNOT be enough resources to support those 144,000 trees?
Give that some thought.

Anyway, I'm running low on time, so I'll leave it at that.

Mount Rushmore: What’s the actual value of a single human life?

hiddenviper9:
Believe it or not, one human life is worth about 144,000 mature trees.

So, adding 10 new people to Earth means 1.44 million fewer trees.

Luckily, there are still enough trees left to soak up the CO2 produced by breathing systems. 😕

Illegale,

Does this count as part of the "Hatred" thread?

I absolutely HATE checking my teeth and legs before I head to bed.
And you know what’s funny? I hate doing it even more when it’s raining—mostly because I can't stand the rain (unless it's just enough to cool things down).😁
Body image issues in Spirituality ·
If you were to ask me—not that anyone actually does—I’d say this: your body is really just a container where
- you can pack in pretty much anything you want
- everything eventually finds its way out through the various exits
- and you can shove whatever you please right inside.

Bobba Fett:hiddenviper9, if this isn't some kind of joke...

hiddenviper9:
It’s no joke. The book is being written and translated into multiple languages as we speak.
And you have these self-proclaimed "intellectuals"—real academics, mind you—who have read bits of this thing and just declared: "Everything I've read is the absolute truth; it couldn't be any other way!"

Bobba Fett: So, could you basically pull the same logic into religion too?

hiddenviper9: And you, kid, just keep spitting venom. It's clearly just in your DNA anyway.😁

Pandora,
to be or not to be: Just know that to all these scientists, you represent pure CAPACITY. Your thoughts reach far beyond the cosmic boundaries—something most of the people debating this thread haven't even noticed.

Let’s be clear (though I doubt scientists will ever truly get it).
As long as scientists remain ONLY scientists, they will never grasp the infinite nature in which the eternal flow of transience unfolds.
And it is precisely because of the eternal flow of transience that EVERYTHING existing eternally loses its eternal Value the moment material values emerge.
Take time, for example—it is eternal (that's provable)—but once matter appears, it loses its eternal Value and becomes merely a value used to measure all things material.
(I used time as an example because of the thread title).

But which modern scientist knows that within the eternal flow of transience, there were THREE time phases:
1. The fractal phase, or the chaos phase, where proto-matter first developed.
2. The phase of creating antimatter and energy Channels and Networks—those very Channels and Networks that would give the cosmos its constructive shape during creation.
3. The creation of the cosmos and everything material that was, is, and will ever be.

What's most fascinating? Nature has granted humans the ability to "mentally experience" all these THREE developmental phases that occurred within the infinite nature.

And for all of this to happen, a BRAIN was required to reflect the consciousness of nature.
Therefore, the existence of Consciousness dates back to an unimaginably distant past—a time when there was no cosmos, no god, no matter, no energy, and certainly no humans.

Well, I presented this just so scientists could see exactly where they stand in their own knowledge and understanding.
I know some scientist here might scoff at this—but let them.

And this goes to you, Pandora.
Know that you are a NATURAL CHANNEL—because your Spirit of knowledge knows how to translate the Impulses arriving from higher spheres into your Material consciousness. These Impulses inherently contain all the Substance that you pass on to people—especially those capable of recognizing that your THOUGHT is identical to the THOUGHT of Nature.
Weather Forecast / Current Conditions in Philosophy ·
YES! Pandora, spot on: ...consciousness preceded the creation of the universe—and it is that very consciousness that brings it into being.

Just wanted to share this.
Scientists tend to overlook two key things.
1. They forget (or simply don't realize) that Nature itself is Infinite!!!
Absolutely everything else, even if it is Eternal, remains finite.

2. They overlook the fact that within an Infinite Nature, there is an Infinite flow of transience.

-------------------
- Shouldn't we ask ourselves: from any given point along this "circle of Eternal transience," how many universes have already emerged and vanished?

-------------------
- They ignore (or just don't get) that all intelligent beings agree on one thing: Nature thinks.

And thought is an energetic potential.

Doesn't the answer to how energy—and ultimately matter—appears lie right there?

So, Pandora, your take on consciousness and intelligence is absolutely right on the mark.

Honestly, reading your posts, I can only say you are a force to be reckoned with! 👍 👍
Effects of secondhand smoke in Health ·
Well, now I’ve gone and started an argument!

It seems like Douglas Phillips4 wants to idealize everything on the planet just so he can achieve some kind of immortality.
(Though, I suppose that "eventually" part covers everything from a long car ride to a quick trip on a motorcycle).
Effects of secondhand smoke in Health ·
Interesting!
The very first post in this thread says:

( "From secondhand smoke" )

every sixth non-smoker dies!

here's the link

So, as a non-smoker, there's a pretty high chance my friends, acquaintances, or even total strangers could end me, right?

Later on, the discussion shifts to how cigarette smell sticks to nostrils or lingers on clothes and shoes...

Completely irrelevant!
Effects of secondhand smoke in Health ·
Let me be clear: I am AGAINST smoking!

My mother didn't die from cancer—but she spent her ENTIRE LIFE "dying from cancer."
She didn't smoke JUST because of what the radio, newspapers, and magazines were saying back then... they all pushed the exact same data you see in Douglas Phillips4's link.
Every little change in her body felt like a step toward a diagnosis.

That’s what I wanted to tell Douglas Phillips4 (and everyone else): Stop overthinking it. If you don't smoke, you might find that friends, acquaintances, or even total strangers who do smoke can actually take a toll on you through sheer anxiety.

Live your life with HEALTHY AND POSITIVE THINKING: I am healthy, and I will stay healthy—regardless of whatever negativity people try to throw my way.
That's how you train your Memory to signal your cells to stay healthy!

That is what keeps me feeling good.
Sure, I get sick sometimes—but I bounce back fast, and I plan on staying this way until I'm well over 100.

That is how you build a LIVING MEMORY!
Effects of secondhand smoke in Health ·
I’m against smoking! But there's more to it...

I started picking up a couple of cigarettes a day when I was just nine years old.
By 14, I was downing about ten a day.
Once I hit 18, I moved up to roughly 20.
Starting at 26, I was through two or three packs daily—somewhere between 40 and 60 cigarettes.
Between the ages of 45 and 57, I was burning through four to five packs, which means up to a hundred cigarettes a day.

Since 1991, I haven't touched a single cigarette. However, three days a week, I spend three or four hours playing pool in rooms where people smoke heavily.

So, what can I—a "youngster" who still feels and acts like one, despite being a full 66 years old—say about the opinions of all those doctors? (Many of whom inhale quite a bit of secondhand smoke themselves.)

Since doctors don't have a definitive answer as to why people develop cancer or asthma, someone has to be blamed.
But if everyone stopped smoking tomorrow, who would take the fall? Cancer isn't going anywhere just because people quit.

Again, let me be clear: I am AGAINST smoking, but I am also against creating this kind of collective memory through things like warnings about secondhand smoke.
Winona Ryder: I’m not sure how much truth there is to it, but I’ve heard that using those machines long-term can actually waste away your muscles.

hiddenviper9:
And it isn't just the muscles—it can mess with your entire nervous system too.
Obviously, it doesn't happen overnight.

Winona Ryder: ...just my two cents: sports should stay sports. I can't imagine two women with the exact same build and lifestyle having the same body if one uses those machines while the other sticks to aerobics, swimming, or running outdoors.

hiddenviper9: 👍 I am 100% with you on that! 👍

To the OP,

- A cold bath isn't going to save you!

- You really jumped into this debate headfirst!

- Needless to say— 😕 😲 —right?

- How's it going, American?

- What? Good grief... (yeah, I can see where this is going).
How about this one:
"...if you had just read from the start, you would have seen..."
"...you can't just drop a bomb and run..."

Conclusion: It’s clearly a new dialect: some mix of regional slang.

- How can you say it isn't healing?
Sicher said—that's why I told you that you won't die from cancer, but you'll die from the flu. 😁
(There, just so things don't get too heated here. 🙏

Oh, and Thomas Mendoza5 gave you good advice: Buy a little lightbulb and hang it on a chain

And one more thing for the slow movers:
Even bears know that old story: HELP! THERE'S A WOLF!

Calling all comedians!

You can find the Jokes subforum right above the Health section.
So, if you're posting jokes under Health, please move them over to the right spot.

Just a quick side note here.
One of the BIGGEST mistakes parents make is failing to teach young children not to fear any illness. Instead, they should be taught to face these challenges with self-confidence and a sense of inner strength—traits every decent person should possess.

Also, cancer shouldn't be treated as some untouchable taboo, especially by those who view it as nothing more than a severe cold.

As long as we have comedians posting in the Health section and people treating illnesses with such dread, we’ll continue to see patients arriving at hospitals paralyzed by fear, sometimes passing away simply from the shock of seeing a needle.

After all, we're living in the 21st century, aren't we?

cosmicridge5,

Consider yourself transferred to my son's department.
He’s stuck working with people who, at best, need some serious psychological help.

hiddenviper9, the son:

Hey, you psycho!
What, you moved from Vrsac—past Mexico City—then past Serbien cafe—straight into the topic of public debt?
It's been quite a long trip, hasn't it?

So you claim my old man dropped a bug in your head.
Don't sweat it—that bug has been living in your head for ages.
That's why you ended up here on the Health subforum, where actual adults come to try and sort out their medical issues while hanging out.

Still, it's obvious you have your little problems—but only God can help you fix them.
And since you don't believe in God—you're finished!
Just go buy some 1.60 x 40 lumber and wait.
It won't be long.
Sicher!
Anyway, catch you later when I pass on in 70 years to the next world.
