Walter Garcia53 said:Is this just an infomercial? Honestly, I was hoping for a bit more substance or a clever recommendation here! Grrr. By the way, if you want things to be symmetrical, they only seem to grow on the right side. :S
But really, what's the issue? Are you actually too embarrassed to walk into a CVS and ask for a trimmer specifically for your right ear? Why would that be?😕
Walter Garcia53 said:I'm a bit lost on what kind of trimmers we're actually discussing here; they sound like something you'd only find in some pretty remote, hard-to-reach spots. Could you perhaps share a photo, a link, or just a quick explanation to help me out?
It sounds like one of those late-night infomercials where they claim you get everything for free if you act now. Honestly, I can already hear the sound of me snoring from here.😲
Walter Garcia53 said:just look how happy they seem 😠 btw, I can't even see them clearly yet, but it still bothers me knowing they're there. And honestly, I'm looking for some kind of hair growth inhibitor. Big Pharma can cook up all the nonsense they want with extracts like guarana, but they never seem to have a real solution for this 😠
😍 We all share that frustration with the pharmaceutical industry for those exact same reasons. (It isn't just Donna Sanchez48 and me, either—every woman knows that hair removal is an absolute chore.)
If it helps at all: you mentioned you aren't ready to start shaving because you're so young... well, that part will likely just sort itself out without you having to lift a finger..🤣 )
Donna Sanchez48 said:all he's got left are electric shavers
Uuuh, well, if he enjoys that, more power to him😬 ...but his actual goal is finding something that stops the hair from growing back entirely. Personally, I’d trade it all for a fountain of youth elixir.☕
Donna Sanchez48 said:you should probably give him a little heads-up first there are definitely painless options out there, though I'm honestly not sure if that specific clinic is even equipped for those kinds of treatments
If you’re talking about laser treatments—which are supposed to be permanent, though I highly doubt they even offer that here—believe me, it was pretty painful for me. And honestly, the hit to my bank account wasn't much better.😬
Walter Garcia53 said:Is there any way to actually stop hair from sprouting up in awkward spots, like the ears? I was honestly pretty mortified when I realized it was starting to happen to me, and since I'm still relatively young, I really don't want to be stuck trimming them for the rest of my life!😲
🤣 If that hair keeps showing up in places you'd rather it didn't, I can promise you one thing: you'll eventually find yourself having a much deeper appreciation for women. You'll see exactly why.😎

If you're looking for guidance, I’d suggest reaching out to Dr. Vučinović over in Obad. Honestly, you really can't go wrong with him.😉

I remember when my own nephews used to spend every single afternoon running around the neighborhood until sunset, but now it seems like they’re much more content staying indoors. It's a tough trend to witness, but it's certainly something we need to address. The real issue here is that they are consuming massive amounts of calories that they simply have no way of burning off. I remember when I first started my fitness journey back in Chicago, I used to think I could just eat whatever I wanted as long as I hit the gym for an hour, only to realize pretty quickly that the math just doesn't add up that way. It's all about that balance. I’ve been wondering lately if anyone else here actually tracks their calorie burn while working out at the local gym. I was on the treadmill earlier today, and even though I was sweating quite a bit after about twenty minutes of running, my fitness tracker showed that I barely burned 150 calories. It’s a bit humbling when you realize how much effort it takes to burn off a single snack; for instance, I once grabbed a simple ice cream cone on my way home from the gym, only to realize it packed about 450 calories. It really puts the math into perspective when you see how easily those numbers climb back up.
😎
I completely agree with that sentiment. It really isn't worth stressing yourself out just to enjoy a few extra minutes of indulgence with some chocolate; quite simply, it’s just not a sound economic decision for your health. I actually had a bit of an eye-opening moment with this while I was on the elliptical at my local gym—looking at the calorie counter was a genuine shock, honestly, because that thing tracks progress much slower than I ever anticipated.😠 )
coppernomad7 said:Well, at least that was how my own results looked, and honestly, not a single soul bothered to tell me when I was supposed to head back in for the follow-up both times.
I remember going through a very similar experience myself; I can't recall exactly which day it was, but when I had my labs done, everything appeared perfectly normal on paper—even though I was feeling all the symptoms quite intensely. However, once I switched doctors, my new physician insisted that we run the tests specifically on the fourth day of my cycle. It turned out that my LH levels were actually three times higher than they should have been, along with a few other irregularities I can't quite recall at the moment. To make matters even more frustrating, they didn't have enough sample material for one particular hormone, which left me stuck waiting for two whole months just to get the results.😛 What a silly thing to suggest; of course I had to be at my therapy session already.
Mark Brooks87 said:It happened to me too; just today, my temperature spiked to 98.6 after 4:00 PM... though I have been under an incredible amount of stress lately, so it wouldn't be surprising if that was the culprit. Honestly, I just hate seeing that number climb, plain and simple.😬
Look, you should definitely get checked out by your doctor just to see what's going on. If they give you a clean bill of health, you might want to consider some serious relaxation techniques—and I mean forcing yourself to unwind😬—because you aren't going to get through this pregnancy without feeling completely exhausted if you stay this wound up! (Maybe it’s best to stop checking, or perhaps the thermometer itself is just causing you extra anxiety.)😉
For four years straight, right during finals week, I found myself running a persistent low-grade fever of about 99 degrees every single afternoon after 4:00 PM; it was absolutely exhausting, yet curiously enough, the moment I actually stepped away from the books to visit a doctor, the symptoms would vanish entirely. It was quite a strange phenomenon. So, you can see how it goes.☕ That kind of intense stress, coupled with an overloaded schedule and constant rushing, can really take a toll on your body. I can only imagine how much more taxing it feels when you're managing a newborn alongside all those other responsibilities.
I’ve been told that because of how cortisol levels fluctuate, it’s absolutely vital to arrive first thing in the morning—ideally no later than 7:00 AM. I remember my doctor mentioning that timing is everything when you're dealing with certain hormones. My experience at the ST facility on Nuclear Avenue has been a bit of a mixed bag; while the actual procedures move along quite swiftly once you're in, there is often a significant wait for the lab markers. To be honest, I’ve encountered a few rather intense women working the front desk, though I'm not quite sure how else to put it without sounding rude.😛
Is anyone else dealing with iron overload issues? I’m being completely serious here because I’ve read that having too much iron can be just as harmful as having too little. It’s quite a shock because I was actually struggling with anemia before—my levels jumped from a measly 3 all the way up to 33!! I suspect there might have been some sort of error at the lab, mostly because I can't find any other logical explanation; I only took my iron supplements for a very brief period, and once my levels normalized, they just started climbing on their own (unless it really was a mistake), so I'm honestly stumped. I feel like I should still be dealing with anemia given that my hemoglobin and several other markers are still running low, even though I'm currently on a pill... does anyone have any insight or ideas on what might be happening?😕
Once everything has cooled down and you're dealing with that specific burn or wound... I usually head over to a local CVS to grab some Vitamin E capsules, then carefully prick the capsule with a needle—just making sure I don't pop the whole thing 😱—and apply the oil directly onto the area.
Hannah Davis18 said:I’m referring to the situation my gynecologist described to me, yes. She can't even take me in as a patient; even though there's a massive crowd of people who just don't show up, and then there's that huge group where they just scribble out prescriptions without much else. Whether they're perfectly healthy but just careless, or it's something else entirely, it doesn't really matter; there simply isn't any room left for someone like me.
And it's quite interesting to note that you mentioned 3500, while Justin Fox is speculating with a much higher figure altogether.😉
I'm not entirely sure... perhaps I misheard something... a friend was venting to me, and she also happened to complain about the obligation of treating all those tourists... she mentioned how packed the clinics get during the summer months... I don't know the specifics too well myself.
Kimberly Davis52 said:they probably check if they're healthy if they aren't showing up😬
Actually, no... it’s more like those people who just wait for the end of the sentence to jump in... once they finally arrive, they make themselves right at home... and then it's every single week😬
Hannah Davis18 said:There isn't much point in defending them; unfortunately, women don't even see their doctors once a year, let alone twice. The math just doesn't add up.
I know this firsthand because I actually tried to schedule an appointment with one of those providers recently; she couldn't fit me in unless someone else canceled, and even then, that same person hadn't seen her patient in years.😳
You seem to be talking about healthy women who are just a bit negligent with their checkups...for people like that, getting an appointment once a year is a massive struggle, and then if something actually goes wrong, they end up there twice a month...even pregnant women get tired of the constant visits...it's really not quite like that.
I can't really blame my doctor... her clinic is constantly swamped... she mentioned they have about 3,500 patients on their roster here in Chicago,👎 and since she’s such a perfectionist, she insists on giving every single person her full attention. As for the floor mats, she actually gave me a heads-up to bring my own and specifically warned me not to wear those green scrubs (I honestly have no idea why those are such a faux pas), but she didn't mention anything regarding the other supplies. I was actually planning on buying some, but now you've all gone and made me second-guess myself!
Paul Cook33 said:In my opinion, absolutely. I might be able to help you reach a climax, but I certainly can't read your mind to know what's actually going on in your head.
