Things are different now, obviously, but I think it's important to be honest about how things actually went down.

I have to admit, hardly anyone actually gets this... I've mentioned it here before, but if you really want to dig deep, don't just stop at the surface level of the Bible. You've got to dive much deeper into the mythology.

I was actually browsing some forums over in Mexico through their PDF archives. Just looking at stuff about religion, really. I haven't actually posted anything or even signed up for an account on any of them.
Honestly, there isn't much of a difference between a blog post and a discussion thread. I think the author could have easily just turned this into a discussion piece—which shouldn't be that hard, right? If you just drop a column-style post without asking anything, it feels kind of empty. It doesn't really serve a purpose on a forum; it’s just a blog. But, if you pull out some questions—and you almost always can—the conversation actually gets dynamic and interesting. I see all those massive posts about holidays, the lives of saints, or even deep dives into the Bible, and they never include a single question to kick things off. They just leave everything hanging in mid-air. You've just got to give people a reason to talk.

I totally misunderstood, then she suggested I didn't even know what a monologue actually was, so I ended up giving her an explanation straight from the dictionary. Look, a monologue is a much broader concept than just being boring. And as for the topic being dull? I didn't personally say that; that was just how Musk interpreted it. Honestly, I think the subject is pretty interesting, it's just that those blog posts over there don't really have a place to live... kind of like those old sermons people used to post on that one closed thread on a different forum back in the day.

If we're having a dialogue about them, sure, but not when it turns into a sermon about lives of saints and an Orthodox calendar. This feels more like a website for the CIA. Could we please move this discussion over to a PDF? For goodness' sake, let's try to make this a little less about personal feelings and more about the actual issue of why things are being shut down. It feels like this thread has become way too much of a religious blog post. This forum isn't meant to be a personal blog where people just list saints and holidays. We're here for conversation, not one-sided monologues. Personally, I think we should reopen the topic, but only after we've cleaned up the clutter first.

Well, the title pretty much says it all. Have you guys ever checked out movies like this? Do you have any personal favorites or even just some solid recommendations? Honestly, I’d love to dive into some of those classics from the Eastern Bloc or maybe some great Polish cinema. So far, I’ve mostly stuck to the big Hollywood blockbusters.
