Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion]

Shortly after taking it, I experienced some loose stools—nothing I would call full-blown diarrhea, per se, but certainly not normal either. The package insert specifically mentions "severe diarrhea" as a concern, which wouldn't bother me much if it were true, but it also emphasizes that missing that final pill is particularly risky. So, where does that leave me?
According to the instructions, if you miss a pill during week three, you can either keep going without a break or just jump straight into the placebo interval. Since I haven't picked up my next box yet, I'm leaning toward the second option. If I go that route, would I need to start the new pack a day earlier than usual—considering today's pill might not technically "count" due to how my system reacted?
Or, is it possible to just ignore the whole thing since it wasn't a severe case of diarrhea? I'm a little stuck on what the threshold for "severe" actually implies in this context... 😁
And for context, I've been taking Logest consistently for about five years now, and everything has been perfectly fine until today.
Well, soft stools aren't exactly severe diarrhea. 🤷
I mean, "severe" would be spending half your day stuck in the bathroom—that's when you really need to worry. 😁
Honestly, I don't think you have anything to stress about. 😉
If your digestion settles down, just act like you took it. But hey, if you're still feeling uneasy, just check in with your OB-GYN or doctor and call it a day. 🙂
