goldeneagle5 said:So, I’m sitting here wondering—what are actually my chances of getting pregnant right now?! Like, my fertile window is supposed to start today, but even before that (I'm talking about those days leading up to the peak), my guy and I have been sleeping together without any protection because, duh, we're trying for a baby... and then today we did it again, totally unprotected, and he finished inside me... I mean, obviously, I know there's a chance I could conceive, and honestly, a pretty big one, but we've done this exact same thing before and I haven't gotten pregnant yet... can anyone actually give me a straight answer here??? We really, really want this baby, but now I'm low-key freaking out that it might be a struggle since we didn't make it happen 😢 p.s. my mom was telling me how it took her three whole years to finally "make" me, so now I'm just spiraling 🙂
That isn't possible, how on earth would anyone on this forum know whether you ended up pregnant this time or not?😕
Thomas Miller80 said:I mean, what can I even say? 😬- honestly, it's ridiculous - Just a heads up—the first thing they’re gonna ask for is a "full name." 😳
I certainly understood that, which is exactly why I found such a question to be quite amusing! 😉
Please forgive my sudden intrusion and the fact that I am veering off-topic, but as I have been reading through this subforum quite intently over the last couple of days, I couldn't help but notice a certain pattern! Is it not truly fascinating how many people seeking legal advice here seem to operate under the impression that lawyers possess some sort of supernatural clairvoyance or psychic abilities?
What on earth could a judge possibly ask when they see the father for the very first time?

I went to see my OB-GYN this morning, and after confirming the pregnancy and seeing the baby on the screen, I felt a genuine sense of happiness, which is quite unexpected; I am currently six weeks along. As for my boyfriend, we’ve decided to part ways because he doesn't want this child, and while he isn't obligated to stay, the situation is undeniably heavy. I have made the decision to carry this pregnancy to term and raise the baby on my own, so I appreciate everyone here for standing by me.
Bravo to you, and congratulations on such immense courage! While you didn't explicitly mention abortion, weren't you presenting all those arguments against the pregnancy—mentioning your boyfriend, your parents, and how young you are? Hang in there, because you have truly made a brave decision!👍
I cannot say for certain whether you were actively nudging her or just offering support, but I find it somewhat unsettling when a young woman is left reeling from an unplanned pregnancy—caught in that whirlwind of shock, panic, and total uncertainty about her future. Is it truly appropriate to immediately begin preaching about how a child is the most exquisite blessing one can receive, or how nothing compares to seeing that tiny little heartbeat on an ultrasound? To me, it feels almost like an attempt to instill a sense of guilt should she decide that motherhood isn't her path.
I didn't catch her explicitly stating that abortion is off the table, did I?
Now, hold on just a second, Emily Palmer5! We really ought to let her make this decision on her own terms, shouldn't we? Let's try not to pile on any unnecessary pressure.
briskbadger11 — alright, take a deep breath and truly consider all your options. You mustn't simply act on a fleeting impulse, nor should you allow yourself to be frightened by the potential shifts or changes in your life path. And most importantly, please don't let yourself be burdened by any sense of guilt if you ultimately decide not to have children. Whatever choice you settle upon, I am certain everything will turn out perfectly fine 😉

And let's hope it isn't being caused by global warming!!!🤣 This is honestly one of the most hilarious things I have ever read online:
Oh, women... my own cycle is seven days late, so this post hit me right where it counts! Don't you think it might be due to this massive heatwave and all these crazy weather shifts?
Then there was this woman on a pregnancy forum who was seven months pregnant and only just realized it! Can you even imagine? She had been attributing the fact that she hadn't had her period for seven damn months to—wait for it—stress!
If I recall correctly, they have a location in Magma over in Ellicott City, right on the second floor! And wouldn't you know it, they have a spot in the downtown metropolitan center as well!
It truly seemed to me that Dorothy Perkins carried such incredibly generous proportions! I typically find myself fitting into a British size 6 or 8—essentially a US 2 or 4—yet while I was there, I couldn't help but notice women walking around in sizes 10, 12, and even 14, so I shall leave you all to draw your own conclusions from that, won't I?
And how exactly would you suggest we assist you? First and foremost, please do not panic; simply make an appointment with your doctor at the earliest possible opportunity. And I must reiterate, there is absolutely no need to panic. Oh, and in case I haven't made this sufficiently clear—do, truly, stop panicking.
Am I really the only one left wondering exactly which cookies he’s talking about? Is it just me, or does everyone else seem to get a completely different assortment of treats when they visit Ava at Bircev's?!?!
redowl90 said:1) most of these headlines are totalitarian garbage
When you claim that 'headlines are totalitarian garbage,' what exactly do you mean by that—are they born out of totalitarian regimes, or do you believe the headlines themselves function in a totalitarian manner? 😁
I’ve gone ahead and edited my post. I realized that asking "what on earth are you people in Washington, D.C. even complaining about?" doesn't exactly come across as supportive, does it? If anything, it sounds more like, "Oh, please, stop whining—it's much worse for us!" While I truly believe things can be quite dire in other parts of the country—for instance, I find it absolutely devastating that a city like San Diego doesn't have Netflix—that still isn't a valid reason for everyone else in America to snap back at a New Yorker who is venting about their own local issues by saying, "Good grief, what could you possibly be struggling with?"
rustyscout31 said:I truly feel saddened that you simply don't grasp the situation. 🙄 Of course there should be an outcry; there is always room for improvement! However, shouldn't one be a bit more informed about what is happening in other parts of our beautiful America? Not everything revolves around NYC, after all; we have plenty of wonderful, intelligent, film-loving people scattered throughout other cities too. And truthfully, we find ourselves in a somewhat disadvantaged position compared to you, so I wanted to make sure that was clear. Is that understood now?🙂
Oh, I am actually quite well aware of what is happening outside of Washington, D.C., but your words essentially boil down to this:
I read all of this and I simply cannot believe it. What on earth is occupying your time in Washington, D.C.?
That doesn't exactly strike me as being supportive of the movement in Washington, D.C., but then again, perhaps I am just uninformed.
I must say, I am still quite perplexed by the logic behind your post. What exactly do you mean when you suggest that 'things aren't great for you, yet you lack the right to complain because they are even worse for everyone else'?
rustyscout31 said:I am reading through all of this and I simply cannot believe my eyes! What on earth do you people in Washington, D.C. occupy yourselves with? You really ought to visit San Francisco just to see what a true lack of movie theaters looks like, let alone a decent selection of films. In fact, I suspect even Martha's Vineyard might have more cinematic options than we do here in San Francisco. If it isn't common knowledge yet, those two existing theaters in San Francisco are being moved out of the downtown core entirely. Once the new World Trade Center is constructed over by the caves, which is quite a trek from the center, the entire movie-going public will be relocated there.👎 So, my dear friends in the big metropolis, we citizens of San Francisco won't have a SINGLE CINEMA left in the heart of our city!!!😠
Well, did someone actually forbid you from being an entrepreneur?
