Look, I’d much rather spend my money on staying healthy $167 than on some new pair of shoes..

Anonymous said:So, I finally called the Mayo Clinic and booked an appointment for Monday. I’m scheduled for a neurological exam $83, and then we'll see what else they need to do and what the damage to my wallet will be since I don't have coverage through them... the receptionists there are actually really sweet 😁

Yeah, but you should ask if they charge extra for the consultation too, maybe like $133 somewhere around there... just so you know how much the whole thing is actually gonna cost me $233 ..

I ended up needing an emergency checkup too, but I couldn't get an appointment anywhere for at least six months. I finally just went to a Mayo Clinic urgent care instead. Yeah, it cost me a fortune, but they got everything done in a single day. If you’re looking for a solid neurologist, I can give you my doctor's info. He isn't based in Washington, D.C., but he's close enough. Shoot me a DM if you want his details.

Hannah Bishop said:Hey. Everything is fine regarding my relationships, except that I used to experience bleeding, and I’d get this stinging sensation after sex during my period... maybe I just don't know how to relax properly. We'll see if it happens again when I find the right guy.

That stinging is normal; it happens to me too. Don't worry about it.😍

I don't think it's actually a fear of pregnancy. It sounds more like you might just be super sensitive... kind of like how I am. Plus, if you can't find a way to relax, your muscles just tense up, which makes penetration either impossible or incredibly painful. Honestly, I think it’s mostly mental. You've got to learn to let go. For me, it always hurts a bit at first, but once things get moving, it settles down.

As for you, Thomas Thomas82, someone in my family was on Tegretol 200 mg for over twenty years. They didn't deal with weight gain or hair loss—just a slight feeling of being high. And regarding the liver, a little artichoke juice will get it back to normal. I guarantee it. Plus, I assume you know you need to stay away from alcohol and illegal drugs...

Look, those pills don't give me that "slightly high" feeling... but then again, everyone's body is different and reacts to medication differently.

I’m trying out those new supplements for my migraines—Sauron from milk thistle. My doctor gave me the green light to take them. A few years back, I had my first seizure, and they prescribed me Dilantin at the hospital. I decided to stop taking it on my own, and well, the seizures came right back. I know that medication can be hard on other organs, but honestly, I think doctors are making a mistake when they prescribe it for migraines specifically.

Trust me, there are definitely people out there who have stuff like that on their mouths—I've seen it a few times myself... it isn't pretty.👎 But it's not some disease. Foaming at the mouth is a totally different story.

I haven't heard that before... I've heard it happens during a seizure, but not like this.

I wouldn't even touch that medication for migraines... I'd toss it out immediately.
And this food stuff you're talking about... it's not that simple. Your body just hits a wall so fast; you have to eat, you need the energy. I know I'm supposed to watch what I eat, but honestly, it doesn't seem to be doing me any good anyway.😎

I’m taking it specifically for epilepsy, but honestly, I feel better on this than I did on Dilantin. Sure, at first I was completely wiped out—just constant fatigue and sleepiness... and now I'm putting on weight. I usually try to avoid meds whenever possible, but I didn't really have a choice this time. I am trying to protect my liver by using some herbal supplements alongside it, though.

I’ve been on it for about six months now... I also take herbal supplements for my liver while I'm on it... and man, it's making me put on weight like crazy. Anyone else dealing with this side effect?

Is anyone else taking this medication?
