Best running (and workout) playlists? in Music ·

It starts at a tempo of 10, but by the end of the track you're cruising at about 60. 😁 😉

😕 😕
You're probably thinking of Velvet Underground.
The ultimate hangover cure? in Health ·
Get away from the coffee. Personally, I start shaking like a leaf after a single cup. You just drink your caffeine fix and deal with it. There isn't some magic cure for it, and honestly, that’s part of the charm 😁😁😁
Coffee and Cigarettes in Movies ·
How long is this film actually supposed to be? I happen to have a 25-minute version on hand, though I haven't sat down to watch it yet, and surely it isn't actually that short.
Healthcare corruption: What's your take? in Health ·
I have a roommate who works as a nurse in the ER—gender doesn't even matter at this point. They just laid out a hundred different scenarios where doctors are straight-up bribing patients or extorting money from them. For instance, they’ll claim an elderly woman has a hip issue and basically hold her in physical limbo until the family realizes they need to cough up $150 or $200 just to get surgery scheduled.
Another example of their absolute garbage behavior involves a woman calling 911 because she’s three months pregnant and bleeding. Instead of sending a full paramedic crew with a doctor, they just send a single technician. Once they arrived and realized the woman was Romani, those bastards refused to send a proper medical team simply because they identified her ethnicity by name. My roommate absolutely lost it; he called them out right then and there in front of everyone, making sure the whole room heard him ask if they were actually certain she didn't need a real emergency response.
There are a billion other examples too. And how does it even happen? You'll have some young female doctor come in complaining that people have already tried to slide cash into her pocket twice, even though she handed it right back. People are conditioned to accept this corruption, and since health is the most vital thing anyone has, even the poorest folks don't stop to ask what the true cost is going to be.
How do we get rid of these idiots? Is there actually a way to fix this, or is this just the standard operating procedure for our pathetic country?
R.E.M. in Washington, D.C.!? in Music ·

If you haven't made a mistake before, then be the first to step up and deal the cards.😁😁😁😁

What kind of price tag would you actually put on a ticket?
Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean in Movies ·
Megan Long96 said:His performance was absolutely phenomenal in the movie BLOW.🙏

👍He was just as compelling in Dead Man,🙏 🙏as he is everywhere else those two films prove.
Matthew Herbert in Music ·
Herbert is alright. I caught his set with the big band and found the whole experience a bit too trippy for my taste. However, that track where Verme remixed 2 is 🙏
In any case, I would certainly go see him if he were performing anywhere nearby, and I am quite eager to hear that house album of his eventually.
World Radiator Championship League in Other Sports ·
I was just browsing through some Nepalese websites, and apparently, they’ve cooked up a whole new sport. Everyone brings their own radiator and hooks it up to a car battery. Of course, the radiators heat up, but the entire competition is a complete farce because they couldn't be bothered to wait for the snail race to finish. Here’s the deal: they take these three-meter-wide radiators, put snails on them, and wire the units directly to batteries. Naturally, this speeds the snails up, and the whole spectacle provides endless entertainment for the entire nation over the airwaves. Word is that marketing for the Katmand radio station has surged by 200%. Honestly, I think this is one of those things we could actually learn from Nepalese people.
Paying bills online in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
How exactly am I supposed to get proof that my utilities have been paid? I'm required to hand over all the bills to my boss every single month.
Paying bills online in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I wasn't quite sure where else to vent about this, so I'll just drop it here. I need to know if paying utility bills through online banking is actually a viable option, which Bank offers the lowest fees, and what kind of transaction commissions I should expect to be hit with.
Top 10 movies you have to watch in Movies ·
I can't exactly pick a single favorite since there isn't a top 10 list out there, but here are my ten: Apocalypse Now, anything by Kubrick, The Big Lebowski, Scarface, Blow, Pi, Being John Malkovich, and Adaptation... 👍
Wedding playlist ideas? in Music ·
It is going to be incredibly difficult for you to please everyone. I attended a wedding for an ex-girlfriend where her family’s crowd kept playing those heavy southern country anthems, and during their breaks, I was tasked with handling the music. So, naturally, I played some Propellerheads and St. Germain instead. Just imagine the look on those guests' faces—it was a total disaster. Honestly, I wouldn't even consider getting married if I had to worry about what kind of music plays at the reception, because I am far too sensitive to that sort of thing.
